JJ's Pizza in Fairview Park is such a gem... a cute little local spot that totally delivers on flavor and charm. I've had them make sheet pizzas for a party, and they were a huge hit... fresh, hot, and perfectly made. I've also ordered regular pizzas just for dinner, and every single time they nail it. The crust is that perfect balance of crisp and chewy, the sauce is super flavorful without being overpowering, and they don't skimp on toppings. Everything is just right. Last time wasn't the greatest experience. We were in the mood for pizza tonight and I highly advised we not order from here. My wife insisted so I told her ok but if it's bad I'll never order it again. I ordered Stromboli. Cooked about 7 minutes too long and had taste of char that was less than pleasant. A large order of jojo fries that were nothing more than frozen french fries from a bag. Nothing close to jojos A pizza and very specifically with extra sauce because the last time there was 0 sauce. Ordered a half BBQ Chicken and half pepperoni for delivery. When it got to us there was only BBQ chicken and my partner hates anything bbq which is why we ordered the other half pepperoni. I understand that mistakes happen but when I called to tell them about the mistake I was treated very poorly. The manager (Jeff?) went to the person that took down our order and quickly decided I made the mistake. There were 3 of us in the room when we placed the order and are 1000% sure of what we ordered. Manager told me that it doesn't matter because I was charged for what was delivered. What happened to paying for what I ordered??? WOW. Terrible. Came to visit my mom in Fairview and was craving pizza. After going on the local community page, I kept seeing the praises for JJ's. Looking on yelp, I saw much of the same. With many pizza places within driving distance to choose from, JJ's seemed the best reviewed. I called on a busy Football Sunday, and decided to pick up. They said..."give us about 10 minutes." A hot pie was ready upon my arrival. Picking up the pizza and driving back to moms was tormenting! The smell of the pizza was so deliciously aromatic! Finally, that first bite. The sauce is a perfect ratio, and a nice balance of spice and sweetness...with just a tad lean to the sweet side. The pie was baked to perfection with a crispy chewy crust. Deliciously topped with generous, tasty cheese. We topped with just pepperoni and my favorite pizzas always have crisp cooked edges on the pepperoni. Not disappointed there. Spot on. I'm so happy we chose JJ's today. I actually live in Twinsburg, but any time I'm at moms place I'll be asking her if she wants JJ's again. She too, absolutely enjoyed it as much as me. read more

We used JJs to help cater our son's first birthday. They were easy to work with and the food was great. One underrated feature I guess I would call it, the pizza boxes were perfectly sized to fit in our oven and our fridge! I absolutely love this place! Best family owned pizza shop in the area. It's a bit more expensive then chains, but that's because it's family owned and you get quality. If you get a deluxe pizza, usually the dough is all soggy and greasy. Not at all here. They have more than just pizza. Their wings are great, salads as well as garlic bread. You know how most pizzas never have enough cheese? Not here. They're not shy with toppings. I love eating cold pizza and you can eat this cold as well. They also have soda and chips and subs. We've had pizza from here a few times, and it is dang GOOD! In fact, JJ's has become our fave pizza place. Their supreme pizza is delish, with all fresh toppings. Do you hate mushrooms from a can? Me too! This place makes sure they use fresh 'shrooms, peppers, everything! Yum! We've only had one so-so experience, where they "forgot" to put the sauce on the pizza, but it was still great! I have been really disappointed the last 3 times I ordered from JJ's, tonight sealed the deal. It is my last time. Order was straight forward except one pizza, I asked for a pizza, extra cheese and extra sauce. Got home, it had neither, in fact, it was so dry it wasn't edible. So I called and said they screwed up the order and re-ordered the pizza. I was CLEAR what I wanted the 2nd time around and even said I would pay for it. I thought that all things considered they would offer it for free, but nope, I paid full price, and guess what? It was exactly the same as the 1st one. Pizza was just okay. I got the deluxe and the buffalo chicken pizza. had a lot of toppings which was good but not 2 medium pizzas for 46 dollars good. Could spend half that and get roughly the same from Dominos 2 blocks down the road. All for supporting local but not at triple the cost. read more

That's a solid pizza! It was my first time here and the dough tasted home made and the sauce was very "tomato-y". It tastes also home made to me. Not over-seasoned like pizza sauces sometimes do. I love it when the sauce has a very intense tomato flavor. I really liked it! The dough is somewhere between a thin crust and a little bit "doughier". Ordered takeout tonight. Sausage and mushroom pizza and a side salad. The pizza was just ok. The crust was soggy. Expected better from the reviews that I read. Side salad was taken out of the fridge and set on top of the pizza so it could get warm and the pouch of blue cheese dressing was gross. There are a lot of pizza options very close by. I probably won't go back. The kitchen is in plain view when you pickup your order and not a single person in the kitchen was wearing a mask over there face. So, I've been a JJs fan for years. It's gone downhill. The pizza itself has been average the past few times and the service has been terrible. I have called on multiple separate occasions and the line is "busy"!? What? in 2020, I'm sure they can find a better phone system. Also, the same guy has taken my order the past few times and honestly, he is either high or drunk. He keeps screwing up the order then when you clarify he says "HUH?" I stopped in to this plain looking joint for lunch. I wasn't expecting what I received. This place has a franchise pizza oven, the 5 minute job but the Pizza has a pizzeria taste, I was pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased. The Italian Sausage is capital. Since the owner stopped being in the store all the time, the teenage boys aren't keeping the quality up. This rating is strictly for their fish dinner. (Their pizzas are great!) Picked up 2 fish dinners. The first bite of fish told me this was not going to be enjoyable. The fish had the most bizarre mushy/gluey texture, almost as if the breading was raw batter, but it was cooked. We ate the fries then threw both dinners in the trash. Pizza was just average.. got a plain white pizza, extra cheese. No extra cheese not a lot of garlic butter. Wings were decent, salad looks fresh. Unbranded dressing though which makes me tend to think they use cheap ingredients. Pizza crust wasn't hardy on the thinner side ... some like it that way. Delivery was slow so when I got my order it was cold. Took at least 50 minutes and I live 3 miles away. Probably won't return... I like my pizza greasy and hearty, but no one makes them that way any more except a select few. I had JJ's for the first time a few nights ago. I was excited to try a new place around town. I got the 1 Large 1 topping/1 speciality pizza deal this establishment offers. I got the white gourmet with no chicken and a sausage pizza. When I got my pizza, the specialty still had chicken on it, but I didn't complain as my dog at the chicken. However the pizza still had that chicken taste and I wasn't much a fan. I think maybe the crust is a little too rich? Didn't agree with me too much.
