Aweful eyelash service. They started falling off two days later. By the time my event came 5 days later( half of them were off my lashes. I was told they will last 2-3 weeks. My first and last time I will use Emma. Poor customers service after I showed her now my eye look 4 days later. Don't go there!! read more

I want to love this place but I can't. I got conned into trying the dip and my nails are incredibly ruined. But not only that, the techs there have no clue how to apply it properly. They were thick and bulbous. Not thin and petite they way they should be. I added chrome to them the last time and I had to go back once for a repair. Two weeks later, the chrome on four nails completely peeled off. I went today to get them soaked off and live on and I was charged $8! For a soak off! On nails that they couldn't get right. The owner took care of me and I'm completely dumbfounded that she even charged me at all considering she scowled at the way my nails were done. I won't be returning, not even for a pedicure. Save yourself the trouble. They are overpriced and under experienced. If the owner is the only one who does a good job, that says a lot about the business...good luck. read more

i walked in with my little sister, the nail lady sat me down and started doing my nails. she got distracted and left her chair then came back saying she had an appointment at 4:30 and the girl is there for her appointment. it was 4:50 and she had already started my nails. if you're late thats not my fault. she pushed me out of my chair to give it to someone else and my sister and i left. this is the 3rd time i've come to this place hoping for a good service and getting an awful experience. i honestly don't think i'll ever go back if i could rate less than a star i would. read more

I have lived in the Mount Dora area for many years, and I've tried just about every nail salon. This is my new favorite! The salon is under new management, and it shows-from the little extras, like picking your own scented salts for your foot bath to the customized service you receive from the minute you walk in the door. They also offer a free touch up within a week, but I haven't needed it. My pedicure still looks as good as when I walked out the door. Although this is not as high-end as Aveda and Synergy salons in downtown Mount Dora, this is by far the best mid-range salon due to excellent customer service, cleanliness, customization of experience, and quality of mani/pedis. Mom and I went today for mani/pedis. Mom had a regular clear coat polish. I had regular OPI polish on my toes and a gel on my fingernails. They look terrific!!! We had a wonderful visit, so relaxing and such great staff. They were quick to welcome us as we walked in and we definitely felt pampered. I've been coming to this place for about 2 years and never really had an issue and was planning on continuing until today. I went for a pedicure 39 weeks pregnant hoping to relax and pamper myself before the baby comes. The lady asked which pedicure I wanted and I wanted the standard $25 pedicure, when I told her I got a dirty look and she said "not the $35 one?" Then when cutting my cuticles she stopped and said "I can't cut too much because you are only getting the quick pedicure." She then rushed through the pedicure, even though it's supposed to be 20-30 minutes. I shouldn't be treated differently for choosing a standard pedicure, you are still getting my business and should be grateful. Not only that, I am very pregnant and trying to relax. Needless to say, I will find a new place to come to. read more

I usually come here and was really dissatisfied this time. I made an appointment via phone call a week prior, yet was forgotten about and treated as a walk in. I got a super simple pedicure and set of nails and it took 4 hours because I was forgotten about multiple times while I was in the store as well. The nails I got were not what I wanted because I was pawned off on another nail tech who I did not book with so I had to change the concept of what I had originally booked for because they were not able to do it (not his fault because I didn't request him for my appointment). As a loyal customer I feel like I deserve better service especially for the price that I pay. Fighting back tears was not a part of my "appointment" that I had anticipated. When I moved to Mount Dora a few months ago, I tried three different nail salons and was disappointed before finally finding Today's Nails. Since then, I've had three pedicures/gel manicures with Ryan and have been very pleased. He's a friendly young guy with great attention to detail and makes gel manis that have consistently lasted 2-3 weeks with little to no signs of wear. I first went to this salon before it was under new management and wasn't very happy with what they did. BUT someone told me that they were under new management and her nails looked fantastic! I went in on my birthday weekend for a little treat for myself with high hopes. Staff was friendly and I got helped right away. The women who did my nails (I never got her name) did a really good job and was very sweet. The only thing that I didn't like was once I picked my nail color another employee asked if I wanted a design done on my nails and had examples with him. I gladly accepted and picked one out, but when the time came for the design it was clear that my nail tech didn't have much experience with design. I wish she would of said something to let me know and I would of waited for someone with more design experience or I would of skipped the design all together. read more

I went there for the first time and was amazed at how dirty the nail stations were. There was nail clippings on the counter and dust caked on the nail polish bottles on the counter. The device with the blue light had dirt on it with some spill spots on it. The nail tech was very nice but she didn't clean the counter. I'm amazed that no one notices that. They are busy and they do a good job. But please clean your stations they're full of nail dust. They use the same sand paper on the drill for everyone. read more
