These folks at Greenheart Pergolas went above and beyond in their expert workmanship and meticulous detail orientation. Our team of Dagney (supervisor) and installers Pancho and Agustin were thorough and detailed in their work and care. After digging footers, laying concrete and installing the structure as precisely measured, cleaned up both the debris and Pergola leaving the perimeter as if nothing had happened. The 10' by 13' pergola, along with a sliding side screen now covers our spa so we can enjoy it more than ever. We highly recommend these folks who not only do pergolas but other outdoor landscape jobs. They are professional, amicable, friendly, great to work with as well as reasonably priced.

The project was delayed multiple times, measurements were done wrong, and the rock area was left unleveled. What made the experience worse was the communication throughout the process. When an issue came up regarding the color of the pavers that was recommended by our sales representative, he was unwilling to take accountability or work with us toward a reasonable solution. After pointing out all the issues, he told us he would contact his manager to see if they could provide a discount since the incorrect color of pavers had already been delivered and partially installed. After days of back-and-forth, he later informed us that they would not be pursuing that option after all. The inconsistency and lack of follow-through were very disappointing. James the sales agent became increasingly hostile and unprofessional. Instead of feeling like our concerns were being heard and addressed, we felt blamed for issues that should have been handled collaboratively. To their credit, the installation crew worked hard and completed much of the physical labor well. However their customer service and accountability was horrible. Not even knowing where to start, one day my wife just went into their store front to ask some questions since we drive past it every Sunday morning on our way to church. We did not have any referrals or know anything about his company beforehand. The office manager was super helpful and scheduled for Juan to come out to discuss more details. Juan came out and listened to our vision and ideas and offered a lot of good suggestions, but never tried to upsell with pushy sales tactics. He was honest, realistic and up front about all the detailed questions we asked. Within a couple of days, he put together some estimates with different options for us to consider with a design rendering. We had a couple of other companies come out also for estimates. Juan's estimates were reasonable, but it was really his expertise, honesty, and attention to detail that made us very comfortable with choosing Quality Turf. We approved the job bid on a Friday and the crew showed up the following Monday at 07:00 as promised - the project began! The crew showed up at 0715 every morning to start work, informing us what was to be done the day of and a couple of days ahead so we could plan our days. Juan was managing the project himself and came most every day to talk to us, answer any questions, and to make sure the work was done to his standards. This allowed us to avoid or minimize any rework because of inadequate or inaccurate communications. The crew worked fast, hard, and efficiently. They covered our newly redone pool every week before they started work to keep it clean and took the covers off on Sundays so our kids could use it. The crew always did thorough clean up everyday after they were done so there wouldn't be any mess in and around our property. They went above and beyond to make us happy! As the back yard was being worked on, Juan also worked with us and provided the plan with all the details for HOA approval for the front. We had Juan's team do a lot since we have a very large back yard - turf, pavers, fire pit, gazebo, plants, lighting, and so on. The project from start to finish took exactly 3 weeks as he estimated, except this also included some extra stuff that was not part of the initial project scope. When all the work was completed, Juan gave us a thorough walk-through and gave us tips and tricks on maintenance and on how to use some of the new infrastructure and equipment they'd put in. A few days later, he came back again to check whether we needed anything else and brought firewood for our fire pit and water guns, swim goggles, and bubble canon for our kids (after checking to make sure we'd be Ok with those)! There was one plant that wasn't doing too well from his own inspections - we didn't even notice or ask him. He assured us that they would warranty and replace it if it continued to not do well in the next couple of weeks. What amazing post project hypercare customer service and personal sweet and nice gestures! Our front and back yards have been transformed completely! Now we have plenty of elegant and usable space to entertain and let our little ones play in! Thank you, Juan and crew!
