We haven't been here since the change. Oh my gosh this is our new favorite restaurant! I haven't found a really really good restaurant in a while. This one did it. From the friendly bartenders, we like sitting at the bar, to the vibe and food I can't say enough. We had the calamari, different, interesting and delicious. Recently had the pleasure of checking out the new patio renovations over at Celeste. They have a beautiful bar, stocked with not one but 2 bartenders. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and attentive. But the real reason we went is for the incredible food. For starters we enjoyed a few cocktails, the Jonah Crab, and the dreamiest whipped feta! It's a must try. Entrees we went with the salmon which was cooked perfectly per my request to have it medium rare. The steak bavette which was flavorful and also cooked to perfection. We ordered a kids cheese pizza with fries for my niece and this thing easily could have fed 2 adults. Big portion sizes at reasonable prices. If you're looking to get dessert definitely do, just be warned the cookie is massive and delicious. read more

Lovely little spot in Narragansett that used to be Trio. Nice bar and well appointed dining areas. Came here as part of the TEDxURI cast for a post show celebration. The menu was limited to three entrees as a result, but the braised beef with pasta was absolutely delicious. Like a very upscaled beef stroganoff. The chocolate tart for dessert was also spectacular, dark chocolate flavor with the most delicious raspberry sauce that made for a perfect pairing. In addition to the lovely surroundings and the great food, the service was impeccably great. Outstanding. This is a great spot for a casual dinner or something special. This was a lovely restaurant. It was a perfect after work vibe. We started with this delicious bread with delicious spices and olive oil. I ordered a Margherita pizza with a side house salad and it was delicious. Our waitress was very kind and made great suggestions for dinner. We absolutely love the new menu. We had been regulars at Trio for years. It's a nice change. The updated interior and exterior is wonderful, bright and light. The outdoor bar facing the ocean is a wonderful addition and always full! We often order the pizza for take-out with a salad. The crust is perfect and we think they are the best around! The fig and prosciutto is amazing. If you are a local, or visiting or vacation this is a great place to each. They are child friendly with a children's menu and high chairs. This is a must try! Great little local restaurant. Found it a bit pricey but for the area I am sure it's on point. I ordered a delish espresso martini and the fig & prosciutto pizza. Was a bit disappointed that the hostess advised I'd have at least an hour and a half wait as I was alone and there were no others waiting outside or anywhere I could see. Luckily I asked if the bar was open seating and it turned out to be first come, first served. Found a lone spot at the outside bar which was perfect! The bartender was very nice and did not seem to mind my dining solo as the rest of the bar was completely seated (inside also full bar). The pizza crust was delish but unfortunately came to me already cold...disappointing considering the price point. Had two slices and boxed the remaining to bring back home. Opted for a dessert to take home as well, dark chocolate tart. Coffee with kahlua to go with the side of salted caramel gelato. Also delish, however, they charged $3 for the coffee and $14 for the barely a shot of kahlua that I definitely could not taste. Bummer. Really wanted to love everything! Maybe next time visiting the USCGA (if we make it up there again) the food will be hot and worth every penny. read more

Today we had a late day lunch date at this beautiful place located right in the pier. It is absolutely stunning inside and out. The real olive trees are everywhere and everything is just so beautifully designed & decorated. The atmosphere is just perfect we sat at the outside bar and our bartender was wonderful. She was so friendly and welcoming to everyone and the service was wonderful. The food was fantastic we cannot wait to go back. We split a pizza & salad and that was just enough for a mid day lunch date . Would highly recommend to anyone looking to dine in Narragansett. It's worth the ride 10/10 read more

We live and work locally and eat at Celeste 1 to 2 times a month I would say. Every time including last night they delivered a 10 out of 10 experience. The food is excellent and very well executed. We tried the squash and Brussel sprout pizza and each vegetable was cut perfectly very thin not to overpower the light airy dough. I love their bouillabaisse as it's not over salted, but it's still very flavorful and the seafood is high-quality. But beyond the food every time we go to Celeste, we experienced the same excellence of being treated as a guest. They always great you warmly at the door. The service is top-notch. They are well staffed and they go all the way to make sure you have a great experience. We also eat regularly at another of the Newport Restaurant Group restaurant, Bar Cino, and I have found over the last couple years that consistency and excellence goes across the board. Thought we would try it since we live near by and it exceeded our expectations! We go out to eat frequently & this place is a hidden gem. From the hostess to our waitress Kate, service was a 10. We split an appetizer & both of us got pizza's. My friend is gluten-free & Kate found a gf roll for her & she loved the GF pizza. Good size pizza too. We each took 3 pieces home. Their menu has a lot of options from pizza to sandwiches and don't forget the raw bar! Prices are reasonable for the area, especially summer time. It's decorated beautifully and even the wait staff was dressed nicely. We didn't do the out-door seating but it quickly filled up. Only ONE negative is the parking. It's tough to find a spot on the street so we had to circle around twice, but eventually found one. This was our first time at Celeste, which is fairly new after the owners closed, renovated and reimagined this restaurant. We think they did a great job! The food and service were outstanding. We shared their Celeste salad featuring watercress & arugula, couscous, chickpea, golden raisin, cashew, grilled onion, Calabrian chili vinaigrette. Despite being a salad, it took a little while to get out to us. We were enjoying our drinks and weren't in a rush, but our waiter offered us some humus, which was a nice touch. They also served some delicious focaccia bread and oil to start. Our entrees were excellent. My wife's scrod was fantastic. It was served with crispy potatoes, roasted garlicky broccolini, almond romesco sauce underneath. I ordered the chicken Milanese, served with tri-colore salad, fennel, slow-roasted tomatoes, lemon. It is essentially a chicken cutlet (which I knew when I ordered it). It was a decent portion, tender and moist. We were celebrating a birthday, which we did with an unbelievable chocolate tart. It had chocolate crumb, salted caramel chocolate chunk and raspberry sauce. We liked their menu. There is a variety of food to choose from - from sandwiches and pizza to entrees. I've been there several times over the past year Very good meal every time, nice space, casual elegance. Usually pretty easy to park on the street. We didn't mind waiting to place a food order but the food was mediocre at best. Flavorless arancini, room temp shrimp and a bland, mostly iceberg lettuce kale salad. So very disappointing. Celeste is one of our favorite restaurants in Narragansett! The service is always amazing, and the food is delicious! I recently made a reservation via their website, and when we arrived I realized that I made the reservation for the following Friday by mistake. The host was incredibly gracious, and was able to set us outside. I don't know how he did it, but we were incredibly grateful. Our family has been going to Trio for years (often for dinner on the patio after a late afternoon swim at the beach), and we were a little nervous that this new iteration might not live up to its predecessor. Well, no worries there. We ate on the patio as usual. The new outside bar is gorgeous -- facing the water and with beautiful tile work. We had drinks and split several small plates. For me, the standouts were the Jonah crab, shrimp soffrito, lamb meatballs, and berry clafouti. Our server was friendly and did all he could to help, even finding us the last plate of focaccia when they thought they were out. The drink list was extensive and included tasty cocktails, mocktails, non-alcoholic beer, beer, and wine by the glass -- something for everyone. Visited recently with a friend for apps and drinks, and couldn't have been happier. The renovations and redesign are beautiful. The space is light, pretty, and the attention to detail was sublime. As an interior designer I was thrilled! The drink menu had a multitude of delicious sounding options, and I was thrilled with my choice as was my dining partner. We enjoyed oysters, tuna crudo, and the lamb meatballs and all three were indeed delicious. The lamb meatballs were bursting with flavor and the sauce and grilled bread were the perfect accompaniment. Crudo was fresh and the olive and caper topping added just enough! Service was great. Attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We finished our visit with the basque cheesecake and it did not disappoint.
