Love this place for date night! My husband is French (aka extremely picky and discerning when it comes to food) and this is one of the only restaurants in the area we continue to come back to again and again. Great service -- we once showed up on a busy night without a reservation and they truly did everything to squeeze us in with only about a 10 minute wait. Our only request would be that they update their menu a bit more frequently. It's a very small one (which we LOVE), but when you go as often as we do, you run out of options somewhat quickly. Overall the best place for dinner in the area.

I love this place for date night. The moody lighting makes it feel very intimate. The cocktails are delicious, and the service is top notch. The homemade pasta is out of the world. The seasonal cauliflower is a repeat order. I also love their chips to start. They're very accommodating for someone who doesn't eat meat.

Me and my mother were looking for a place to try while we went for our jazz festival adventure. The food was very delicious, I was impressed with how fresh the tomatoes are and the burrata as well. The clam chowder was one of the best I have ever had, it was very flavorful and delicious. The duck was very tender, I was impressed as I'm used to duck being dry & to top it off the gnocchi was phenomenal. The peach's sweetness with it was delightful and the brown butter with the pesto mixed so well with the gnocchi it was my favorite. The ice cream was very delicious as well and the chocolate mousse was me and my mom's favorite. Coffee was good, and the service was great, we received our food very quickly and the staff is very respectful. If we ever comeback to Rhode Island for the festival again this is the spot I will be going with all my other family members. Highly recommended.

We were in South County for Mother's Day and my mom didn't want to get a reservation ahead of time. We stumbled across this gem and everyone loved their meals. The server, Garret, was awesome! Super personable, hardworking, attentive, and on top of things. The meat in my ramen was the best meat I've ever had in a ramen dish. I feel like the meat is usually almost an afterthought, but not here. The cauliflower dish was perfect with the butternut squash hummus. We ate every last bite of the shaved brussel sprouts salad and the arugula, beat, and goat cheese salad. My dad got the scallop and shrimp tortellini. He thought the shrimp and scallops were going to be on top of the tortellini, but they were actually the tortellini filling. He said it was really good, but as a large man, he wished the dish was a little bigger. The atmosphere is clean, cute, and comfy. Overall, I'd say we lucked out by just happening on this place and getting in without a reservation. We will definitely be back this summer when we are in the area more frequently going to the beach!

At the Bar, pasta with mussels, glass of Pino and Stanley Tucci in Italy. Heaven.

Just can't beat this on a Weds night for dinner. I was alone last night, so ended up just me and 3 other women eating at the bar. Watching Stanley Tucci (in ITALY!) on the TV and not sports. Pasta dinner and glass of wine special for $30.00. It was the perfect solo lady's night out for dinner. Just happened in on a very rainy night and so enjoyed it! Great ambiance. Emily the bartender was lovely and attentive.

Adam waited on us at the inside bar and provided phenomenal service. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to his guests are a tremendous asset to your establishment. I would be remiss if I did not also recognize Eve, Casey, Paige, Al, Jordan, Dan, and Jeff. You have an incredible service team that is second to none. We have spent time at both the restaurant and the Tiki Bar, and most recently we had the pleasure of being served by Gina, who was also exceptional. As a former employment recruiter, I can honestly say that I would be trying to recruit this incredible staff myself! They are dedicated, positive, hospitable, and take tremendous pride in both their professional and personal service. They consistently perform under maximum stress with efficiency, professionalism, and a smile. I understand there is currently a contest on Yelp, and we would like to nominate Adam. He embodies everything you could want in a member of your waitstaff: spirit, dedication, knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine devotion to providing an outstanding guest experience. He has a wonderful ability to make guests feel as though they are not only being well cared for, but that he is genuinely enjoying his job as well. Choosing one person was extremely difficult because your entire team deserves recognition. However, Adam stood out as a phenomenal leader, and that is why we are choosing him for our nomination. I would gladly hire or recommend any one of these fine young men and women. They are truly exceptional representatives of George's. We wish those who are moving on to college or graduate school all the best in their future endeavors. We will certainly continue to frequent George's, as we have for many years, and look forward to seeing this wonderful team whenever we visit. Thank you for having such an incredible group of people representing your establishment. They truly make the experience special! Cousins, Annie & Tommy (Annie 401-241-9427)

How we would rate our experience Sommelier & Wine -- 5/5 A true highlight. We started with a half bottle of sparkling, then chose a bottle of white. The sommelier presented the bottle, which is on the prestige wine tasting list. His pairing with the artichoke was superb. Service -- 4/5 Really polished, Michelin-level service. They pushed in our chairs, folded our napkins if we stepped away, changed silverware between courses. Only opportunity was sweeping up crumbs. There was one mix-up when someone who wasn't our server brought out a quail dish. We explained we're vegan, and he immediately took it away, returned and apologized. Otherwise, service was excellent. Ambiance -- 3/5 The water views are beautiful and could make this a 4, but a rowdy terrace party gave more sports-bar vibes, and the door to the bar kept opening. Presentation -- 3.5/5 Visually stunning, with obvious precision and advanced gastronomy techniques. The uniformity of the vegetables and textures was impressive. Some courses were 5/5 showstoppers, while others were one too many strange bowls of foam--2/5. Taste -- 1/5 The food was seriously bland. We observed the vegetarian dishes were similar to the meat and seafood dishes, but with the protein removed. When you remove a salty, savory fish, you also remove everything it contributes. Something needs to be added back to execute the original composition. Price -- 2/5 At $185 per person, the vegetarian tasting menu is not justified at the same meat price. I'm happy to pay for an incredible experience, but this menu should be closer to $99-$125 WITH improved taste and care. Bottom line Aurelia has potential, but I would not currently recommend it to vegetarians or vegans unless they take our feedback seriously. The vegetables felt like supporting players in dishes designed around the meat or seafood, and didn't shine on their own. The service, wine program and technical execution are all there. But the most important part is simple, the food should taste good, especially at thar price.

They clearly take their coffee program seriously (and now I realize the name should have tipped me off!). The food was equally impressive. It legitimately didn't have to be as good as it was (lol). The yogurt bowl on any menu is usually "meh," but we gave it a try since we wanted some non-meat protein and I am SO glad we did. It was the best yogurt bowl I've ever had- no contest. The whole milk yogurt was creamy; the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries were ripe; the honey and granola added crunch and some floral sweetness; and the best part was the raspberry preserves they pipe on top. I wish I could recreate this at home! We also loved the lemon poppyseed loaf with blueberry preserves and cream. It was a BUSY Saturday night, we had no reservation, and the bar was packed... but divine timing somehow worked in our favor and two seats opened up right at the end of the bar. That's where we met Nick behind the bar, and honestly, he made the night. Nick was working the service well, taking care of a packed bar and banging out beautifully curated cocktails. I still don't know how he was that efficient while also taking the time to walk us through the entire menu. You could tell he genuinely took pride in the food he was describing and wanted us to experience it. I started with the Mezcal Negroni and from there we decided on a few small bites. First, the ricotta gnudi... perfectly fried and warm with just the right bite on the outside, then you break into this warm, soft little pillow of ricotta that was an absolute flavor bomb. Finished with freshly shaved Parmesan on top. I swear for a second I thought I was sitting somewhere on the water in Italy. Then the Scotch bonnet egg... WOW... truly every dish was just mind blowing ...all this dishes we ate....Nothing overpowered anything else. Every bite mattered. You could actually taste every layer and every little detail that went into all the dishes. Then came the beef tartare. Beautifully presented with the green crab purée in the center and crispy chips for that perfect crunch. Katie came over herself to explain the dish, and once you got everything together in one bite... absolute flavor explosion. Rich, bright, creamy, salty, crunchy. Everything on that plate had a purpose. We were also told we HAD to try the sweet corn agnolotti and THANK GOD we listened. Another complete flavor bomb. Absolutely amazing. It genuinely gives some of my favorite Italian restaurants in Beverly Hills El Baldi a run for their money. At this point Nick basically said, "Trust me," and asked if he could choose our next course. YES. PLEASE. Out came this gorgeous lamb sausage with fresh greens, snap peas, mint, dill, pickled vegetables and this beautiful creamy green sauce underneath. THAT DISH. The sausage was rich, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, but all those fresh herbs, greens and acidity made the entire plate feel bright and balanced. Hearty and comforting while somehow still tasting fresh and light. Then Nick convinced us to put our trust in him one last time and let him choose dessert. He brought out the bread pudding and I am not exaggerating when I say it was the PERFECT ending to this entire food adventure. I literally had tears in my eyes. The food, the cocktails, the service, the salt water in the air, the smiles from the staff... everything just came together.....Nothing was pretentious. Everything was highly elevated while still having this incredible sense of warmth and comfort. It almost felt like being welcomed into someone's home and they just happened to be cooking some of the best food you've ever eaten. Huge shoutout to GM Katie and bartender Nick. Thank you both for giving us one of the most amazing and memorable dining experiences I've ever had. We walked in on a packed Saturday night without a reservation, just hoping to grab a couple seats, have a cocktail and eat something good... and walked out feeling like we had experienced something really special. 10/10. Every bite. Every cocktail. Every detail. I would go back in a heartbeat.
