My special thanks to Daniel Tucker for the best service I have ever received from a Sales rep.. and I have bought over 30 cars in my life time.. Most dealerships, wash their hands of a customer, once the car is sold, stating, you bought the car As-Is, however Napleton Maserati made sure to make it right, even with the small issue we noticed after the sale was done. I am from California, so realistically Napleton did not have to do anything, or could have simply said, it was an act of god or delivery company that caused it. But again, they did not let me down.. And for that, they get a A+ from this Marine Veteran ~ and if you are an out of state buyer, I recommend using their delivery company, b/c they warranty and guarantee your car will be delivered as promised in the pictures or videos they will send you, or they will cover any possible issues that a delivery company may have caused (if you use the delivery company they have). I used my own delivery company, and I regret it.. ~ however, instead of playing the blame game, Napleton service and sales managers reviewed the cars service record, and made it right for me. The service employee on the phone was rude, cut me off on the phone and was extremely disrespectful! I came in the next day to show the video of the issue and to talk to them about the coverage. They won't touch it unless they charge me a diagnostic fee of nearly $200 (even though I'm told by two other dealerships it's covered under the warranty). They said someone else touched it and it's bad craftsman ship now, it was one seal replaced...? He kept telling me to take it elsewhere. Extremely rude, disrespectful, and even if they personally won't touch it - learn to talk to your customers with respect!!!! Our family has done business with them, we are long term friends with some of the employees, and our family has been in Glen Ellyn for over 100 years... looking for a reliable dealership - ONE of the reasons I went with a CHEVY vehicle! When we got to store the Sales Manager, Tom Julian, was also very helpful and made the buying experience memorable for my son. He was very cordial and I know we got a very good deal on the car. Over the decades of buying cars, this was by far the best interaction we have had with a dealership. But you don' t know till you get in and drive around for a bit. They delivered the car to the BNSF Metra station of my choice, and when I called John H and told him I fell in love with a used Infiniti (almost by accident, just stopping into another dealer to kick the tires--but the heart wants what it wants) they came to get the car where I was - at my sister's, about 1/2 hour from Oswego. This, after I used their car for almost 2 days. And I am almost ashamed to say, the last morning of which I shopped for other cars. If I was a Ford man, I would make a beeline to Riverview Ford. The associate helping them, Rob, was completely dismissive and not understanding anything they were trying to explain regarding the vehicle's warranty. My mother and sister told him multiple times that the car has a warranty, but he kept denying it and insisting that they didn't. At one point he even tried to claim that we bought the warranty from the previous owner in 2021. That doesn't even make sense considering the car is a 2022 and we have not even owned the vehicle for nine months when we took it off the lot from a dealership not the old owner. While my mother and sister stepped out of the room to grab the warranty paperwork, my sister accidentally left the phone in the room while I was still on FaceTime. During that time I overheard Rob speaking to another employee and being extremely disrespectful about my family. The things he said were so inappropriate and offensive that, as a woman, I wouldn't even repeat those words. I immediately told my mom what I heard. When my sister confronted Rob about it, he denied everything even though it was obvious he knew exactly what he had said. She then spoke to the manager, Justin, hoping the situation would be taken seriously. Instead, he defended Rob and basically made it seem like we were lying and that it was our word against his. My family went there for a service on a vehicle, not to be disrespected or treated like a problem. The behavior from this associate was extremely unprofessional and honestly makes it seem like he either has no idea what he is talking about or tries to mislead customers when it comes to warranties and services on top of the disrespect. Management really needs to start paying attention to how their employees treat customers.
