It's just a joke and I know websites, I have developed them. When I needed customer service, I got somebody from the Philippines who could barely speak English. If you pay extra towards your loan, they automatically extend your next month's payment instead of applying the extra amount towards your actual loan amount. They had never stated that. If I call for help on a weekend or bank holiday I reach a call center in the Philippines. And they can't find my account either, although they don't mind making wait while they try to search. Their ATMs are terrible too. Twice, at on -site BMO ATMs, the machines rebooted mid transaction. I had to call to confirm that the transaction completed. Also, MANY times the ATMs fail transactions after all user inputs. And they don't seem to care

Previous experience: I always use the ATM at this site because you can deposit cash and checks in addition to regular ATM functions. Once I left my debit card in the ATM because of the chip, didn't realize for 12+ hours later. Upon realizing contacted this location and they closed my debit card so no one could use it (proactive!) and said they could print me a new one if I came in. Needless to say I went in the same day and was in and out within 15 minutes. What a relief! The have English, Spanish and Polish speakers at this location. Great to help anyone. When my husband and I decided to refinance one of our properties, we naturally went with our trusted banker. Everything was perfect until the loan went into underwriting. They asked for so much additional documentation, it was absurd. I stated I wanted to deal with my loan officer only but the most rude and condescending processor kept calling asking for the stuff I already sent. Then a manger stepped in who clearly had no clue what was going on. His manager then called, some woman placing blame on everyone else, trying to be some sort of hero. Horrendous because basic business 101, don't insult co-workers. This woman reeked of being a bad person which made me uneasy about moving forward in the loan. Come to find out she's not a manager but some recruiter. No wonder. Horrid recruiter should recruit better processors. Guess she can't help but recruit other horrid people.

With that said, I am glad I have a brick and motor bank that I could turn to in a time of need. This review is primarily about the Bank Manager Sam Patel - who has been at this location quite a few years now. This is my only bank and I have been a customer through several different incarnations. Sam stands out as a manager of high integrity who is truly vested in assisting patrons such as myself. Recently, I had a huge fraud situation that depleted my checking and savings accounts and when I got the alert from BOA I was literally pannicked. I quite literally jumped into my car and almost ran into the bank. Sam immediately responded to me and helped to report the fraud. The following week I went back into the bank because things were not exactly straightened out yet (not her responsibility). First of all, she saw me enter the bank and waved me into her office. She asked me how things were and I admit I broke down and cried. She called the fraud dept again and asked them to expedite my claim and restore my accounts. By the next day things were back to order. Some may say that Sam was only doing her job - and while I agree, it is not that she does her job expertly - she does it with heart and compassion. They have one person counting deposits, slowly. The number of errors they make is ridiculous and they expect the business owner to return to the bank to fix errors when they should come to my business to fix it. Their error not mine.
