    2025 Nissan Kicks

Just a couple of months ago, while driving from Houston to Austin, parts of my brand new 2025 Nissan Kicks' exterior literally flew off on the highway. I was shocked and scared for my safety. I pulled over, picked up the part from the road, and took the car to Nissan of Cedar Park, where they initially told me the parts were likely under recall. I never heard back from them. After following up myself, I was told the VIN wasn't under any recall, yet the exterior pieces were clearly defective -- they were no longer attached to the car. I then contacted Nissan customer service, who assured me they would investigate and support me under the factory warranty. Over three weeks passed and I received no follow-up, no call, and no support. Feeling unheard and unsafe, I decided to sell the vehicle myself. I'm sharing this to caution future buyers: Be very careful when dealing with Nissan. The lack of responsibility, poor communication, and disregard for safety were unacceptable. If you're buying a car, especially brand new, double-check everything -- and don't ignore red flags like I did.

I would increase my review by 1 star because this time, the service advisor did not try to mansplain anything to me, but the entire experience doesn't allow it. I only returned because I was offered a free oil change to give them a second chance. I also had a safety recall, so I popped in for both. Turns out they ended up recommending $6K in service repairs and tried to charge me for the oil change. I smartly brought a friend with automotive knowledge (and male) who reviewed their video footage of the repair recommendations so I could confirm if these were necessary ATM. None were, so I was able to drive away. When any of the things they identified actually show up, I will address them, but it will not be here. They actually have a Service Advisor Money Board (see pic) up on a glass office by their desks. It's hard to take their recommendations seriously, knowing they are so shamelessly aiming for money goals. Sorry guys, you lost a wishful $6K because I wasn't foolishly persuaded.

The staff is friendly but you have to put aside a half to a whole day if you want anything done here. They do offer lyfts they pay for up to a certain distance or miles and we do use that now and then, what happened in the past is you get a link that you click on that brings you to the tracking and information on driver. This time we didn't get that, we got a text 4 minutes out then nothing. After about 6 minutes we went back to ask and the driver cancelled. NO one told us, Kia or Lyft. So they put it again, we got a call this time when they cancelled and told a new driver was coming, they canceled and we got a new one. Then we heard nothing at all, no updates on new person or links or calls. We finally just got our own Lyft, they said at Kia it would be about 2 hours so we grabbed a bite to eat. It was longer then that, but the employee helping us was nice and the work was done and everything checked and the cost not insane. Still I feel as long time customers and this being not the first car we have gotten from them, we should not have to scramble and hunt down help for every little thing.

Overall, customer service was good and management worked with us to resolve multiple issues. I came in because I saw multiple grand Cherokees that I liked online that showed as available. When I got to the lot, none were still in stock. Over two weeks later they are still listed.. this seems like a sales tactic and was frustratingly misleading. The Jeep that we purchased had lots of dents and scratches. We ended up being able to negotiate for the repairs to be taken care of by the dealership and to pick it up once repaired. The biggest frustration with working with this team was a lack of communication once we left the dealership and were awaiting the car, which took almost 2 weeks. Pros: Jeffrey is not a pushy salesman and gives you space to look and decide if the vehicle meets your needs, there was a lot of teamwork among the sales team and management, Bob with finance is great, I was provided a temporary car to drive when my jeeps repairs were delayed and they even delivered it to me since I didn't have a ride Cons: frustrating to have to call multiple times for updates, some of the scratches we negotiated to have taken out weren't, Trailhawk sticker was taken off in order to replace the bumper but I wasn't told before and will cost $200 to replace+ labor to have put on, car was dirty and not detailed when I picked up (which was explained as being due to the work done).. was told I would receive a check in the mail to pay to detail it but haven't received anything.

About a month after driving it, the paint on the bumper and fender started peeling, which I found strange. When I reached out to them, their staff was extremely rude, evasive, and dismissive, insisting they had nothing to do with it and that it was my job to ask if the car had been wrecked -- which I actually did during the purchase. The salesman falsely claimed later that he told me. I took the vehicle to a trusted body shop, and that's when everything came to light. The entire front clip had clearly been repainted poorly, without proper primer, and that's why the paint is peeling. The bumper had glue and zip ties instead of proper clips, and worst of all -- the airbags had previously deployed and been repaired, something they absolutely knew when they sold it to me. They intentionally hid this major damage from me, banking on the fact that it wasn't reported to Carfax. It's a textbook example of how some dealers manipulate the "clean Carfax" label. I even tried filing a lawsuit, only to be told I couldn't because I unknowingly signed an arbitration agreement required to buy the car. This is not just shady -- it feels like fraud. They sold me what was advertised as a premium vehicle, fully aware of its condition. I still don't know if my airbags even work properly. Please be very careful if you're considering buying from them. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Back in 2010, I wrote, "To be honest, I would rather have a tooth pulled than deal with a used car salesman." Well, at Apple, there is no tooth pulling! There's no high-pressure sales approach here. Every vehicle on their lot is high-end, clean, and mechanically sound. They offer fair trade-in values, include a free drivetrain warranty, and provide a very reasonably priced extended warranty plan. Best of all, they don't tack on any of those unnecessary add-ons you often see at other dealerships. On this most recent visit, I worked with Corey (sales) and Mike (sales manager), and it was by far the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had. I received a very fair offer for my trade-in and even secured a loan rate better than what my credit union offered, which surprised me. Bailey (finance) made the paperwork process smooth and stress-free, and she offered an extended warranty at a price I felt was more than fair. Pro tip: Check out their inventory, but be aware it tends to move quickly, so contact them online to verify that the new-to-you vehicle is still available.

From the moment I found the exact make and model I was dreaming of on their website, I knew I had to act fast. Calling them up, I was immediately greeted by Duane, whose friendliness and personable approach instantly put me at ease. This being my first time buying from a dealership, I had my reservations, but Duane made the entire process feel straightforward and honest. What heightened my sense of urgency was hearing through the grapevine that someone else was interested in the same vehicle but wasn't ready to make the purchase. Knowing this, I felt an immediate push to secure the vehicle that very day. This sense of competition added an extra layer of excitement and determination to my car buying journey. The excitement to see the car in person drove me to make a 40-minute trip north, and it was worth every second. Upon arrival, my decision was cemented - I had to have that car that day. What impressed me the most was the transparency with which Duane presented my financing options, a refreshing change from the usual sales tactics. During the inevitable wait for bank feedback, Janie's thoughtfulness in offering snacks and water was a small but significant gesture that made the experience more comfortable. Then, Juan took over to discuss the next steps, insurance, and warranty details with such clarity and openness, it reassured me I was making the right decision. Despite the dealership nearing closing time, and my needing to manage logistical hurdles to drop off my mom's car and return, Janie and Juan assured me they'd wait, no matter how long it took. This level of commitment and understanding from a dealership was unexpected and deeply appreciated. My mom, too, was delighted by the kindness and professionalism shown by Janie over the phone. Finalizing the paperwork was smooth, filled with friendly banter and laughter with Juan, marking a perfect end to the day. I can't express enough gratitude towards Apple Leasing for their genuine approach, making sure their customers are not only satisfied but also well-informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. Their willingness to go the extra mile, ensuring we didn't have to juggle multiple cars home, was the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. This was by far the most comfortable and reassuring dealership experience I've ever had. It's why I've never made a purchase until now, as most dealerships in the past seemed shady. I highly recommend Apple Lease Returns to anyone looking for a seamless, honest car buying journey. I'm over the moon with my Q50 and only wish I could personally thank everyone at the dealership one more time for their incredible service and support.

Drove it home thinking I had bought a brand-new, clean vehicle through the Audi dealer network. Later, when I took the SQ7 to a reputable Bay Area paint protection film / customization shop, they stopped work and showed me that the rear tailgate appeared to have been previously damaged and repainted. The car is metallic black, but the rear tailgate appears to have been painted in a completely different black finish. It does not match the rest of the vehicle. What makes this even more concerning is that the vehicle's MMI/head unit still shows Audi North Austin as the dealer wallpaper, the vehicle came from Audi North Austin before being dealer-swapped to Audi Palo Alto. Audi Palo Alto only kept the car in the showroom till they sold it to me. From what I can see, this vehicle appears to have had prior damage and poor repaint work before I ever purchased it -- and none of that was disclosed to me as the customer. That is unacceptable on any car, but especially on a brand-new luxury Audi. If Audi North Austin had knowledge of this damage, then they should have disclosed it. If they didn't know, then they need to explain how a damaged and mismatched vehicle moved through their store and into the Audi dealer network as "new." Either way, this is not how a premium brand dealership should operate. Now I'm left dealing with the fallout, while everyone points fingers and avoids ownership. That feels like a shady business trying to pull a fast one, pass the problem along, and run from accountability. Vehicle: 2025 Audi SQ7 Audi case number: 07488900 Audi North Austin, do better.
