    Great snacks!

Jordan and Lala are awesome! Sat in the cat bird seat and enjoyed the cod sandwich with Kringle cut fries. Always a good time.

We were had stopped nearby to check out a vintage shop (sadly closed today) and were a bit hungry so we decided to check out the Cedar Inn. I saw the sign that said voted best wings - so I was in. We sat at the bar and had great conversation with Deliah and Tucker while we waited for our food. I ordered the wings and my partner ordered the breasted chicken though when I saw the corned beef dinner go by I thought - damn! That looks amazing! The wings are huge - and amazing. I had the buffalo flavored with homemade blue cheese dressing to dip. The celery stalks were fresh and crisp. Everything you could want in wings! My partners broasted chicken was equally delicious. Both are generous portions providing for full to-go boxes. While the Cedar Inn isn't 'round the corner for us, we will be back!

TOP 3 chicken with in the greater twin cities area (possibly top 1 when they're fresh!). I love this spot! They bartenders are nice, and the servers do well at getting to everyone regularity. It's a small restaurant that can really fill up on one of their activity nights. Everyone here is so nice, the perfect "small town dive bar" vibe near a big city

What a hidden gem! Totally unassuming legitimate dive bar that has incredible wings and scotch eggs. I mean, these wings are hands down some of the best in the Twin Cities, dare I say the entire state; yes, they're that good. Go here, you will not be disappointed!

Buffalo wings. The meat fell right off the bone when I lifted the wing off of the container.

The Buffalo wings melted right in my mouth. It was served with a side of celery and ranch sauce. The fries where enough to feed two or maybe three. While I was sitting in outdoor seating, I heard Earth Wind and Fire on their in-house speaker. It was fairly quiet and not overbearing. I waited a reasonable amount of time from when the order was placed from when the order was served. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled.

Know when you read best burger in town? Yeah, sure, you betcha! Well, folks for the kind of burger I like...Cedar Inn has it! Nothing fancy. Just a good, solid burger cooked just right. Served hot and juicy. Fresh bun. And $8.00! A winning combo. Includes real, potato French fries. Place has a nice vibe. Neighborhood hangout. I think we were the only non regulars. Service fast, friendly and efficient. Natasha, our server, was the perfect frosting on a already great cake!!! Her friendliness alone will bring us back. And we got a personal thank you by the owner on our way out. Oh yes, we will be back; probably with some friends. Oh, and they have good beers on tap and a long list of non alcohol beer. If you ask nicely Natasha will give you a frosty mug for that one too.

The decor is fun, it's like a fever dream of a newspaper themed pirate cove with downtown holiday sparkle. Walking in, there's a news-themed entry, then you see a mermaid reading a newspaper at a pirate ship bar playing sports games on the TVs. It's wild, but it's so fun. We had great seats at a table by the window looking out to downtown, which was great for people watching while we waited for our food. We were also entertained by the football and hockey games on the TVs. Our waitress was swift, but we waited a while for her to come back to cash us out after we ate. I ordered their burger with fries and a Pinot noir on the side. The burger was cooked nicely at medium well. There were several cocktails that sounded great, but a nice burger and dry red was calling to me that night. My husband got the Korean bbq fried chicken sandwich and we split that and the burger halfsies. I liked the chicken sandwich, but not as much as I enjoyed the burger. A fun choice for a meal in downtown Minneapolis, don't let the reviews steer you away. Hopefully you can catch the bartender climbing the rope stairs for a bottle!

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.

The bar server greeted us and let us know how to order. We were both starving and wanted to get some tacos. I had the chicken tinga and the braised beef. I really loved the chicken tinga but the braised beef just did not have a lot of flavor. I also had a side of beans, they were definitely undercooked and again, not a ton of flavor with them. I also had the horchata, it is a small glass filled with ice, so not sure it is worth the price point or at least order two. The guacamole was amazing and I would definitely get that if you go! Centro is in a nice location that's near the Rosedale Mall but not all the traffic. I haven't been to this restaurant since it's been remodeled (previously Good Earth) and it's very trendy, IG worthy. Bright colors, murals on the inside/outside. It was seat yourself dining. And "scan the QR code to order". However, we did have the waiter take everyone's order because it was going to be ONE BIG BILL. Drinks came out, then we ordered food (apps for some, entrees for the rest). Great happy hour deals on drinks, and chips w/ dips. I ordered a Guava Margarita. It came in a lowball glass, garnished with a lime and spicy tajin rim. It was strong enough for me. Tattersall.... say no more! Tasted like a normal Marg, guava didn't stand out. Apps were shared. Chips were warm and salty. Guac was above average. Salsa and queso stood out more. Cool Ranch wings with ranch dip. Others loved them. I didn't taste much "Cool Ranch". Dirty Yuka fries. I got to try 1 but grabbed lots of its toppings and sauce. Don't know what a YUKA is but that was good. I would have had another if there were some left. Now my entree.. the Elote Carnitas Crunch wrap. Didn't come with any sides (rice, beans) or dipping sauce. Although I did steal some leftover Ranch from the wings. I cut it in half for easier eating and it looked beautiful. Due to the Carnitas, it was very drippy/messy/wet. I rolled up my sleeves, and made sure I had it over the plate vs my lap. It really didn't need a dipping sauce. It had some heat to it, and it built with each bite. But it was a good heat; tingly lips. Nothing on fire that made you pant or required milk. My coworker got the Cool Ranch Crunch wrap and hers was dry... and needed a dipping sauce for moisture. She used leftover queso and it was much better. Food came out in waves. Many staff helping out at the table with both bringing food out and clearing used dishes, empty glasses/ bottles. And no errors in the order. Great to see teamwork. To-go boxes were given to those in need and they looked like recycled paper/cardboard vs Styrofoam. And paper bags were given to the people with more than 1 to-go box. I would definitely return to try more items on the menu.
