I found this place on Yelp as I was looking for bfast options since basic food necessities are completely sold out at grocery stores in my area (covid-19). What a gem this place is! The breakfast options are robust with many selections, not to mention they tasted great! I can't wait to try other things on their menu - like the bbq catering! Service was superb!

Just as good as the old hickory deli. You still get a huge bang for your buck here. Italian sub made on fresh bread, brings me back every time.

Cedar Grove has THE BEST Pork Roll Egg and Cheese! And other breakfast items are very good. Their Italian dishes are also excellent.

I ordered a flat white and my husband a mocha. Both coffees were great and had perfect flavor. For mochi donuts we got the churro, oreo and chocolate sprinkles. They were so soft and delicious! Definitely recommend this place. Also have sandwiches and a few other drinks you can get so there is something for everyone. I wish we had a cafe like this in Iowa! I will be back next time I'm in town.

I absolutely loved the idea and the overall vibe of the cafe. That said, we came specifically for coffee and mochi donuts, and unfortunately those fell a bit short. The coffee was just okay, and the mochi donuts weren't great - ours tasted on the staler side, which was disappointing. Overall, I really think this place has a lot of potential. The service is great and the concept is very unique for this area, and with some improvements to the quality and freshness of the food and drinks, it could easily become a go-to spot. Worth checking out for the aesthetic, but I'm hoping the menu catches up to how cool the space is.

As for the sandwiches, I've tried the katsu, pesto chicken, and tikka masala. The Katsu was by far my favorite. The pesto chicken was good too. I'll update my review once I'm back home to show the tikka masala. 10/10 would be back to try the other drinks and desserts. They were out of the honey cake when I went. I picked a different dessert instead, only to find out later that there was actually one honey cake left after all. A quick double-check before saying an item is unavailable would have saved a little confusion (and would have gotten me to my honey cake faster!). That said, the iced vanilla latte was good, though I noticed there seemed to be quite a bit of room left at the top of the cup. I'm not expecting it filled to the brim, but it felt like there could have been a little more coffee for the price. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Overall, it was an okay experience. I'd consider coming back for the coffee, though next time I might just place a to-go order.

This popular cafe is located right in the heart of Basking Ridge. It's small inside but there's outdoor seating also. We had a half hour wait for a table inside. The place has a very cozy feel to it and everyone we met who worked here was very friendly. I started my meal with a Vanilla Chai Latte and my wife had a Macha Latte. My wife ordered the Blintzes with blueberries and I had the Paris Morning breakfast. We both loved the food! My dish came with 2 potato pancakes, 2 poached eggs, and smoked salmon. Just delicious! A cool bit of trivia is that Paul McCartney and his wife stopped in here a few years ago. We didn't see Paul today, but we did enjoy the experience!

It was very busy yesterday around 11:30 am. When we finally got seated, the place did not disappoint. We first ordered macchiato, cappuccino, and lemonade, the coffee was strong and great! We ordered two American breakfast and Warsaw breakfast. One of the American was scrambled eggs and the other was egg over medium. The sausage was very tasty. It was not salty and the bacon was a little thick, and it was also not your typical salty bacon. The sausage was delicious and the bacon was nice and crunchy. The side potatoes were so delicious with onions and peppers. I finished all of mine. It was perfectly seasoned and not salty so eating this brunch was such a joy. The side roll was also delicious with butter. It looked like a sesame and wheat roll. It made it even so more enjoyable. The Warsaw breakfast was on a very hot small iron skillet. The Kabasa was delicious and it was typical on the salty side. The breakfast potato was delicious with the Warsaw breakfast, it had small cherry tomatoes with the potatoes. We also ordered two side pancakes. The pancakes were not as fluffy, but it was very good. It was on the expensive side for one pancake. It was around five dollars. Overall this breakfast restaurant was awesome. Small with a lot of character inside. The service was quick and on point.
