We've been to Ced twice with our most recent trip to the OC alone. Ced has excellent salt bread! Their original salt bread is a must-have of all the salt breads. It is perfectly salty throughout, and nice and buttery on the inside. The texture of the salt bread is perfect, with a lightly crispy exterior, and a soft and chewy interior (it is not a very thick type of bread). Our friends got the honey garlic salt bread and they said it was incredibly garlic-y. Their truffle pepper salt bread was pretty similar to their original salt bread with the exception of the truffle pepper flavor. This was our 2nd favorite behind the original salt bread. The creme brulee salt bread was ok. It was refrigerated and the texture was different than the regular salt bread. The creme brulee was more of a custard. I would probably skip this one. In terms of drinks, we got a corn matcha and tiramisu einspanner. Corn matcha: You can taste the corn but the matcha was pretty light compared to other matcha places in the area. Matcha is not their strong suit. Tiramisu einspanner: Decent coffee/espresso flavor, but nothing special. Service was friendly. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. Overall, we would definitely return to Ced for salt bread! read more

I was really excited to have a location closer to me and finally got a chance to stop by! I tried the raspberry croissant and a pistachio coffee, and both were good. The shop itself is a cute little spot, but it is very small, so there isn't much room to sit and hang out. Unfortunately, the customer service was a little disappointing. The staff member didn't seem very welcoming and appeared bothered when I asked a question about the croissant. It did seem like she was running the shop on her own, so I completely understand that she may have been overwhelmed, but it still made the experience feel a little uncomfortable. I was really looking forward to visiting this location, so I wish the overall experience had been a bit more welcoming. read more

Ced is a spot with coffee and pastries so it had everything I needed in a place that I would enjoy. This would be my second time at Ced; the first time being at the other location. Went around noon and it was in a very busy plaza. There were still a decent amount of items on display. This location has minimal seats near the wall but this is ideal a bakery approach where you grab and go. Salt Bread: This was by far the best item I tried from Ced. It's crispy and fresh. It was flaky like a croissant. And it was nicely salted! I'd come back just for this. Creme Brûlée Bread: Personally it was a bit sweeter than my preference. There is cream inside reminiscent of a boston cream donut. Tteokbokki Bagel: This looked interesting on display; I decided to get one when the staff mentioned the item name. Unfortunately, it didn't have any similar flavor profiles as tteokbokki at all. It wasn't spicy and it tasted like a pizza. Not unique as I thought but could be good for folks that like pizza bagels. Sweet Corn Einspanner: It wasn't too sweet and tasted okay. I can appreciate that they included a whole piece of corn in it. But not something that I'll get again. read more

Located off Bolsa Ave in Westminster. Parking is shared with all the businesses in this plaza. Be wary because this plaza has a couple of popular spots like Bake&Che and DaVien so at certain times this area parking can fill up and have a lot of traffic. The place is small one table top with some chairs along the wall. They have some yummy looking pastry and drinks here, I got the pistachio matcha einspanner which was good . The guy working was awesome. Overall a nice place and great service. read more

Ced Coffee's second location is now open at Today Plaza. There's lots of parking, though it can get packed like most busy Asian cafes. Their signature salt breads are still $4.49 and absolutely delicious. We always get the Egg Salt Bread, Bacon, and Truffle. They tend to sell out by noon, and the shop closes at 3pm daily. Also try their unique drinks -- the Corn Coffee and Matcha are standouts! read more

I came by for coffee, but my five-star review has 100% to do with their creme brulee salt bread, which was one of the best desserts I had in the past few months. Outstanding as it was crispy from the sugar glass, mildly salty, creamy from the custard, and it was unmistakably a sweet bread. I'll definitely be back for this. I want to try more of their sweets, but they were sold out of most of it by the afternoon. Ced Donut & Coffee has a great variety of sweet and savory breads. We tried the Honey Garlic, Cheese Bacon, and Tteokbokki Pepperoni. The salt breads were nicely hollow inside with a crispy bottom, but a little greasier than other places I've tried. I also wish the flavor went more into the bread instead of mostly staying on top. The bagel was really good. I liked the sweet and savory balance. They can warm up the breads for you too, which makes them even better. The shop is pretty small with only a few seats, so it's more of a grab and go spot. read more

This is the best matcha spot in OC (my opinion!). Any of the matcha drinks are such a delicious matcha flavor without tasting too grassy or going overboard on the milk. The pastries are not only gorgeous, but are sooo good, you have to go earlier in the day for the full selection. My only caveat to this place is that the center has horrible parking, and there is not room inside to sit or eat. Other than that this spot is 10/10 and would highly recommend. read more

I visited today, a Monday afternoon, and there was no wait at all! I got a Strawberry Double Matcha with less sweet and less ice. I'm not sure if it was normal for less ice to make the drink this little, almost a whole entire inch lower than the top of the cup. This ended up being a bit disappointing when I got it. I would expect this gap if I asked for no ice, but this for less ice was very surprising. The taste of it was ok, strawberry syrup was artificial but it did have a good balance of matcha. I think I've tried the banana cream top ones but my favorite would have to be the original iron spanner cream top or the tiramisu and they also have Matcha. I tried the Matcha. It's not my favorite go to place for Matcha, but it's not bad. They also have sweets and pastries here which I've had before but didn't get to take a picture of. I did upload a photo of the two drinks services quick to the point and the ambience it does get pretty crowded in here when I went, but there is enough seating inside. I first discovered Céd Coffee & Donut through a Yelp Elite Experience event, and I was genuinely impressed from the very first visit. This location is in the T&K Plaza in Westminster and is known for its specialty coffee, matcha, and unique donuts that blend Korean flavors with French baking techniques. At the event, I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte and absolutely loved it. This time, I ordered it again, and I'm happy to say the flavor was just as good , fragrant, well balanced, not overly sweet, and still refreshing. It's always nice to return to a place and find that the quality hasn't changed. I also ordered the cheesecake, and it was truly wonderful , smooth, creamy, and rich without feeling heavy. You can really taste the care that goes into making everything. The shop feels more suitable for quick catch-ups rather than long sit-down hangouts since there are only a few seats available. Parking can be a little challenging as well. That said, the friendly and cheerful service really helps balance everything out and makes the experience enjoyable. Because of the consistent quality and flavors that stayed with me, I came back to support them again. It's definitely one of those coffee spots I know I'll keep returning to. read more

Ced Coffee and Donut has been the latest obsession for my parents and I. It is a cute little shop that serves tea, coffee and outstanding pastries. I have tried the Sweet Corn Einspanner, although cute, it tastes like a regular latte. My go-to beverages are the Strawberry Double Matcha and the Tiramisu Einspanner, quite yummy, not too sweet but not too strong. I would like to mention that the drinks here are on the lighter side, both in tea/coffee (caffeine) and flavor. Still very refreshing tho, I think perfect for an afternoon pick me up. I kind of get the drinks out of convenience, because I'm here, what keeps me coming back is definitely the pastries. Their pastries are baked fresh daily, fresh you can taste! Very cute, quaint, and aesthetic cafe! Service was quick and friendly. It's a quiet cafe, nice to sit in for a bit but not ideal for studying for a long time. Strawberry Matcha (3/5): Didn't love the matcha. The strawberry puree was a bit sour and I thought the matcha flavor could be better (it was a bit on the watery side). So soft and tender chewy that I ate the whole thing on the spot and got back in line for more. Toppings are on top not inside. The crème brûlée salt bread: not overstuffed with cream but enough to distribute a bit with every bite. Crunchy on outside. Buttery and deliciously sweet-salty! The strawberry salt bread: refrigerated well to eat later. I cut it in half and scooped out the filling while heating up the bread a bit first and it was oh so good! Social media brought me here and was so disappointed. This spot was very underwhelming.. Pastries in person verse the photos on Yelp were to different worlds apart. Pastries seemed a little flat and dry in person, we still grabbed 2 to try since we were already there. Milk Cream Pastella Salt Bread -first time ever having a salt bread.. I don't have any other to compare it to. Not sure what it's suppose to be like but it was extremely salty not in a good way, it was like the bread was dipped into the ocean.. Cream filling wasn't bad. Creme Brulee Salt Bread -same as the Milk Cream one but with a hard Creme Brulee top. The sugar top helped slightly. Crungie Banana Matcha (soft serve cone) -banana matcha flavor was there but not very creamy it was slightly icy. The cone uhh it edible but not what I expected. When the soft serve melts it makes the cone very soft and sticky chewy. There's a melted molasses over top of outside of cone but touching cold soft serve makes it chewy.. not great and sticks to your teeth. read more

Had their Buena Park location bookmarked after seeing people rave about this place on Instagram for their matcha + cute cafe vibes. Accidentally came across this since we were in the plaza for errands. Cute small cafe with baked goods displayed. Mostly breads displayed as the fridge area only had 1 slice of cake. Got the mentaiko bread, garlic honey salt bread and 2 drinks (matcha latte & double matcha strawberry latte). They ask if you'd like to warmed up (if you're eating it right away) and we opted for it - was so yummy fresh out of the toaster! Mentaiko bread : 5/5, Soft and lightly salted with hints of mentaiko. It wasn't overpowering at all however it did feel pretty oily. Once you cut into the center you see all the oils glistening. Garlic honey bread : 5/5, also soft and VERY rich in flavor. There's a good amount of filling but it can be clumped in certain areas. I'd recommend to get a knife and try to spread the garlic cream around the bread so you get an even layer per bite. Reminded me of the Sunmerry garlic bread. Drinks were okay. Matcha latte is pretty sweet and matcha flavor is there, but not that strong. I felt after the first few sips the matcha flavor was pretty watered down. Double matcha strawberry was probably the better of the 2 drinks we got. The matcha flavor is stronger, probably because there is also matcha cream on top. Strawberry pure was prominent and you can definitely taste it in the drink. It lowkey almost tasted artificial to me cause it was pretty sweet. But I don't get this drink normally so I'm not sure how it tastes at other cafes. Overall cute little bakery in a plaza. Prices seem fair when comparing to other cafes. Might go back to try other baked goods when I'm in the area, but not sure on the drinks. read more

I love Ced and usually grab a pastry right after grabbing coffee from Da Vien in the same plaza! Their matcha here I would say is better than Da Vien but prefer to get coffee there. They have matcha soft serve as well that is only served on the weekends! I usually get their ham and cheese croissant which is buttery, flaky, and the right amount of cheesy. It's always a joy to eat and have read they import their flour from Europe! Their care really shows in the pastries and the interior design. The place is quite small and there's only about 4 bar seats, but it's enough for a quick coffee pastry bite with friends. read more

I was running errands in the area and knew I was going to get a drink in this plaza after. With so many choices, I decided on coffee and since I haven't been to this particular Ced and saw they were opened now, I went inside. I ended up getting their jalapeño cream cheese bread and a corn einspanner. While waiting, I looked at their pretty cakes and took some photos. No prices for the cakes were on display, so I wanted to ask before leaving, but the cashier got busy after handing me my order. He was friendly and we exchanged goodbye smiles before I left. My items were delicious and for about $11 it was reasonable. The corn einspanner had a strong coffee taste and the corn taste foam and flavor made it that much better. The jalapeño cream cheese bread was amazing. The cream cheese had perfect flavor and it was on the borderline of too spicy but not bearable. I would get that again. It was very well made and I enjoyed all 120 seconds of it. Hahaha I recommend coming here. Next time if I need a cake, I will consider getting it from here, or if I want some yummy coffee and pastries, Ced would be a solid choice. read more
