Had an appointment on 12/31; yes waited until the last minute. The wait was anticipated but not when you are told "you are next", doctor comes out for next patient and took the client that's appointment was after mine. Conversation in the lobby stated she had her annual visit today. After waiting 1 hour fifteen minutes, the doctor stated the case before me was an emergency and had to be treated ASAP. That I would have understood but when the client came out and called home she stated she had an ulcer on her eye that she wasn't even aware of. (very small waiting room) While watching happenings, noticed the front desk had not finished updating my information in their system; reason I was passed up. Was told I would owe a $10 co-pay and it would be "on us". Only to be made aware that Medicare would have covered this fee (told to me by another front desk personnel). When I left having to order my contacts, I was told there would be an $85.50 charge for the contacts........fine. Submitted my card and rushed to lunch date I was quite late for. No contacts, bad glasses so I didn't see the receipt. At 4:20 that day, after the office closed I received a VM stating the contacts couldn't be ordered as there was a fee due; which I assumed I had paid at checkout. I then checked my receipt as the recording was on the office phone already and it was for the $10. Lost my benefit for the contacts to be paid for, left 2 VM's and a text responding to their text and NO ONE ever had the professional courtesy to call back or try to rectify the situation. NEVER AGAIN. read more
