They told me it would take 3 weeks for them to arrive, which is ridiculously too long for a contact lens order. I've gotten them within 5-7 days with major retailers. She then tells me that she would give me a trial until my order arrived and when my lenses arrive that she would open up my order and replace her trial pair (free contacts given to offices by optical businesses) with my newly purchased contacts. This business is so shady and full of crap. I requested a full refund immediately! There's no way you're taking items out of my order to replace something that was given to you for free. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this business! Go to a well-known optical retailer for the best service.

(I waited over a month, even though I was told a week) - Never calls you of their own volition for any updates unless it's to ask for more money. - They really just only care about getting your money and have no professionalism whatsoever. I read the reviews after making an appointment and thought, it can't be that bad. Let me tell you, boy I was wrong. The initial appointment wasn't all terrible, they had me fill out a form that was pretty long, which I did. They then proceeded to ask me the same questions again even with my form right in front of her. I came in at opening for a 9 am appointment, but they did not open the store until 9:12, and just an eye exam (no dilation) took until 10. I had another appointment and decided to come back the next day to pick out my glasses. I was a walk-in, so understandably it took them a bit of time before they had time for me. I told Bui that I simply wanted a pair of backup glasses, so just the basic lenses with a blue light filter will do. For the next 30 minutes, she explains to me that I should be getting anti-reflective, polycarbonate.. all the expensive upgrades. To be polite, I sat through it and listened even though I clearly said that it was okay and that I just wanted the basics. After I declined her many times, she reluctantly reassures me that the simple basic lenses with the blue light filter were possible and that they should be done by next week. All good, I pay and walk out. The following week, when my glasses were supposed to be done, I get a call saying that my glasses cannot be done by the lab and that I had to pay double or triple the amount I initially paid to get the blue light filter. I say no, I was told that it was possible, so I'm not paying extra for a mistake they made. I'd like to cancel instead. They tell me no, that the order has already been made, so I'm not allowed to cancel. They tell me they'll call me back to see what they can do. I never get a callback, so I called them the next day to get an update. They tell me that they were able to get it in-house done next week, so I said okay fine. Two weeks later. Nothing. I had to call them to get an update, and they said the lenses just got shipped. I thought the order was already made. Why are they only getting shipped three weeks later? They dodge my question and assure me that it would be ready by the end of that week (it was already Wednesday.) What about my blue light filter? Did they find another lab? No. They were still doing the blue light filter in-house, and the solution would arrive in two days, but it will still be done by the end of that week. I'm not sure if they're not able to do basic math or whether they're just purposely lying at this point, but spoiler alert it was not done that week. I had to call my insurance company to let them know of the issue and they had to track down my glasses for me. I never once got a call updating me that my glasses were ready. You should find somewhere else.

My insurance fenced off a lot of places that carried nice frames like Pearle Vision and Lense Crafters. Eye Trends was one that was accepted and they carried brand names ranging from Ray-ban, A&X, Burberry, Gucci, Oakleys, etc. Even better is if they don't carry the frame you want then you can request them to order it in for you so your insurance can pay for them. No more Walmart type frames for you. The only drawback is that there will be no refund if you opt for that choice. The doctor I had obtained her degree from University of Houston which has a great Optometry program. She was friendly and explained to me all the questions I had.

My first visit here was kind of weird, but I can understand that because I came in a bit before they were closing. I immediately fell in love with a pair of black frames and said I'd be back. On my second visit, the staff was exceedingly friendly. I didn't feel too bad for trying on so many glasses. Tuyen was especially helpful and proceeded to tell me every little detail I needed to know about each pair, and when I asked, "How do these frames look?" she gave me her honest opinion in a very mannered way. Before having them make my lenses we did a vision test and it turned out that my optometrist had given me a prescription that made me feel very dizzy. They were very patient with me as we tried to sort it out, and the optometrist at beechnut optical offered to check my eyes there and then and issue me a new prescription. Although there was a little bump in the process because of my original optometrist, they took care of me and I love my new glasses. The prices are more reasonable than the Vision Source I normally go to and the hours are better since they close at 7 PM. I highly recommend coming here. They make you feel less like a patient and more like a person.

Speaking as a patient, Dr. Pham is hands down the best eye doctor I have ever seen. Her attention to every detail is unparalleled. She is beyond thorough. She takes all the time that my case needs to be addressed and does follow up visits to assess my progress and tweak the treatment til I achieve the best possible vision for me. I am a tough case because I had RK surgery in the late 80's. Another optometrist I saw recently incorrectly told me I was developing glaucoma in a rushed 15 minute visit! Fortunately I was told to do a follow up with Dr. Pham. She performed countless tests on me and got to the absolute best option to correct my vision. Her office has some state of the art medical equipment as well. Turned out the "developing glaucoma" diagnosis wasn't accurate. Whew! Dr. Pham is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and detailed. She does a great job explaining all the nuances of my particular diagnosis. She took the time to personally show me how insert and take care of my lenses. I have never been rushed during a visit and all my visits have started promptly. She even opened her office, came in and saw me on her day off once! Honestly she is just amazing. I drive 45 minutes each way to see her and she will be my ONLY eye doctor unless she has to send me to a specialist at some point. Katy TX, you guys are SO LUCKY to have her in your neighborhood. I remembered clearly calling my childhood best friend, Dr. Sang Pham of Eye Max Vision Source for help. She came down and examined me multiple times. She was the one who demanded more testings to be done. She pretty much put me at the top of her list to make sure I was getting the care I needed. She advocated for me until I received the proper care. After so many specialized dr visits, nothing worked. I finally went to my chiropractor and she was able to managed my migraines with medical massages every other week. This treatment was better than taking oral medication which caused me to sleep and wake up with a headache. Recently, I went in for my annual eye exam with Dr. Sang and she has introduced me to Neurolens. It's a quick eye exam. Apparently my eyes are misaligned and this maybe a huge factor why I am getting migraines. I have been wearing these special glasses that has contoured prism in the lens. It took about a week to adjust but now more than a month in--my headaches/migraines has reduced tremendously. Thank you for taking care of me! I highly recommend Dr. Sang! She is very attentive and thorough.

I really like this office! I first visited this office in 2024 and recently had my annual check up…read morein 2026. You can call the office to make appointment of course or you can schedule via their online appointment scheduler. The staff is very friendly. In fact I was running late (so unlike me!) & I called to inquire if I could still come or if I needed to reschedule. They told me if I could get there in 10 minutes they would still take me. That was enough time for me & they were still very pleasant & did not make me feel rushed upon arrival. I love that they have the technology to give you a choice to have your eyes dilated (old school, traditional way, included with exam) or instead have a picture of your eye taken for an extra $40 (cant recall actual cost but it was somewhere between $30-$45). A routine eye exam with no insurance is $85. Dr. Mina Hoang is very polite, professional & personable. When she conducts your eye exam & asks that question "which view is better number 1 or number 2", it makes me chuckle how she enunciates the question very slowly to give your brain time to process the question & answer. She also explains what she is doing & always asks if you have any questions. I didn't purchase any new glasses so I can't speak to the frame selection. However, with so many choices for eyecare in the area, I do recommend this office & doctor for your routine eyecare needs.

Sight Eye Care's site was very informative representing their services. Making an appointment was very simple with injuries getting priority. The staff gave great first impressions of confidence and professionalism.
