My prescription hasn't changed, my left eye cataract has advanced some, My retinal scan was identical to the scan from 3 years ago. Since their system was down for taking my insurance, I paid out of pocket and was guaranteed that I would be reimbursed once their system was up. After not hearing anything for a month I had to call and remind them. When my contact lens provider called to verify my prescription it was changed (by someone at the doctors office) without notice to me. When I re-submitted my order, The doctor's office would not approve it. I had to go there and request a physical copy of my prescription to scan to my lens provider and prove my correct prescription. I went to them because they were close and open on Sundays, but I will never return. They have been anything but professional!

No attempt was made to explore alternative testing methods or accommodations. After sharing my experience publicly, the office responded stating they did not have the training to examine my daughter and chose not to proceed because they would not "do a good job." Families deserve to be treated with respect, even when a provider may not be the right fit. I hope this feedback encourages more awareness and better communication in the future.

She came into the room with an attitude that was rude, short, and dismissive from the very beginning. When she mentioned additional services and something about "special glasses," I asked her what that meant because I genuinely didn't understand. Instead of explaining it, she brushed me off like I was bothering her. There was no patience, no clarity, and absolutely no effort to make sure I understood what she was recommending. What upset me the most was how she spoke to and handled my children. She was noticeably irritated with them even though they weren't doing anything wrong. As a mother, that instantly threw me off. There is no reason for a doctor who works with families to be that harsh or cold toward kids. During the exam she also held the bright light in my eyes for an unnecessarily long time, and it felt uncomfortable and careless. The whole interaction lacked professionalism, compassion, and basic respect. I will never return to this office solely because of her. The front desk treated us well, but Dr. Huynh's attitude and behavior completely ruined the visit. Patients deserve to feel respected and clearly informed, and that is not what we received here.
