    Dr. Nguyen is great and friendly but her front office staff not so much. Only the office manager Rachel was helpful and friendly.

    My vision works just fine... but Barbi's vision not so much…read more Barbi is definitely a fan of Visionworks as we have now visited about five different locations, and at four of the five, we receive great customer service. There was only one bad experience. I will get to reviewing the others another time. But this location was one of several that treated her very nicely and offered her different deals that were generally about the same as what other chains would offer, but with slightly better service and generally about the same as the other Visionworks locations that we visited. I guess the only downside other than the pricing - which is not in the cheap range - is that we noticed on all of their location listings they do have some fake reviews, quite a few in fact the same written by the same people. But I guess that's how they do business and part of their business model.

They were closed already. But they put customer service first. Im quite sure they were tired and wanted to go home. But they helped me with a smile. Then, as I was typing this in the parking lit, they came to my car with my second pair which was completely unexpected. I am so thrilled with my glasses but especially thrilled at being treated so well. Thank you!

She then proceeded to assist a walk in patient without an appointment, keeping us waiting for 25 minutes. Upon entering the exam room the doctor offered no apologies for the wait. I understand emergencies happen but courtesy should be extended to the waiting party. When I mentioned this to her she attempted to tell me that usually patients arrive with the contacts in. 1. My son didn't have any contacts left 2. It's irrelevant to her being late and unapologetically seeing someone before us.

The practice staff were so polite and helpful and we really enjoyed the whole experience. We had been here a few years back and I remembered having a really good experience - but there was an issue with the appointment staff and they have obviously done a good job correcting that. It seems they have recently trained the staff to put in a little bit of extra effort to make patients really feel valued and welcome. From making the appointments all the way to selecting frames and working out what options we had the staff was great! I also appreciated the wide variety of frames that were available to choose from. Most of the time I have a hard time finding a pair of glasses I feel I can just "live with" and at other places I feel like I was just settling with my choices, but here my wife and I were able to find two pairs each that we love.     WORST PLACE EVER. Went last Friday to Dr. Mathews for glasses and contacts. I have a disability…read morethat is triggered by visual issues....I told the doctor this. When she was done examining me, instead of having me put on the new lenses, she told me to put my old ones on and that she would have boxes up front for me to use. I bought glasses at the same time. I left @11am and at 11:30, I put the contacts in when I got home. I could not see. I called and they had already transferred their phones even though they closed at 1pm. Answering service transferred me to a back line that was to a different one. I called back. This time they said they couldn't do anything except have the doctor on call call me back. He never did and then they were closed for the weekend. No one ever calls. I call immediately when they are open at the beginning of the week. The doctor was in the Memorial office that day so they transfer me. Memorial pics up and they transfer me to Alisha's desk....which just rings and rings until it transfers me back. I explain the situation and she transfers me to the same ringing desk. This time when it transfers me back, instead of talking, she just keeps picking up and immediately transferring me back....happens OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I call back over and over until finally phones are transferred to the answering service for lunch. The answering then transfers me to the location that doesn't close for lunch. They just transfer me back to the ringing phone. I go to the website and leave a message in the contact box....no return call. So, I come to this page and send a message. I get a response saying they will have someone contact me. No one does. I send another message at 4pm and no one responds. Then another one at 5pm. Nothing. It is now Friday....7 days AFTER MY APPOINTMENT. I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE AND I STILL CANT SEE...AND I CANT GO ANYWHERE ELSE WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY FULL PRICE BECAUSE INSURANCE ONLY PAYS FOR ONE EXAM A YEAR. I have filed with the medical board.
