I had a great experience with Rudy and his crew from start to finish. Rudi explained all the details and even recommended a better layout which worked much better. His crew was on time, professional, personable and did a really great job. The work was done with no delays. I'm very satisfied and definitely recommend them. read more

This review in no way reflects the contractor's actual work -- I never even made it that far because of my unpleasant experience with MARINA. I spoke with her this morning about my security door installation. My order was clearly set up for the contractors to pick up my door from Home Depot and bring it to my home for installation. She had the notes wrong. Once she finally realized I was correct and the door was not supposed to be delivered beforehand, she starts questioning me about my "storage space." Asking if I have a garage, or if I could "store a nearly $3,000 door on the side of my house." Why would I do that? And why am I being interrogated about storage when the order was already set up properly? If I wanted the door delivered early, I would have scheduled it that way. Then, once she saw I wanted my order kept the way it was originally arranged, she suddenly pushes my install date all the way out to December 16. I said that seemed far out, and she snaps back with, "It's really not," with full attitude. How's she gonna tell me what seems forward to me, especially with the holidays coming up people travel. That really wasn't a big deal and wouldn't have deterred me from using the company. I asked about options -- like if I wanted someone else to install the door -- and that's when she really lost me. She tells me she'll call Home Depot, have them send my door back, and that I would have to reorder it. She actually told me I "can't use the door" since they took the measurements, which makes zero sense because the measurements were paid for and I already have them. Her attitude during all of this was ridiculous. The fact that she had the nerve to act like a door I paid for isn't even mine, and that she could just send it back without my approval, is wild. I called Home Depot right after and spoke to multiple people, including a manager, who confirmed that nobody has the right to return an order in my name that I fully paid for. From what I see online, the contractors' work looks good -- but the nasty attitude of the receptionist ruins the whole experience. After this, we will NOT be using this company for anything, including the second bathroom we were planning to add to our home. Of course when I asked to speak with her manager is out of state. Thanks for the "experience." read more

CCI Construction - Installers are very knowledgeable and great work ethic with great craftsmanship! - General Contractors Near Me - San Jose, California

We recently had 28 Andersen windows and 1 French door and 1 patio slider installed. What a beautiful materials we are completely satisfied. Most importantly it started with our sales representative Anthony who called within the same day that we inquired about replacing our windows. He was very knowledgeable with the different materials that are available in the market place from vinyl, Fiberglass, to wood windows. At the end we decided on qualities over cheap vinyl windows. Anthony was patient with us and work with us and build the windows with what we needed in mind. I am sure that we are just like all consumers that have some concern at first about the installation but Anthony assured us that the install will come out flawless and we will have the ultimate remodeling experiences . So we put our trust into Anthony since he had spent so much time with us. The other quote we had was the sales guys were in and out in 20 minutes telling us they will sent us a quote. Some did and some didn't but no one spent the time to find out what we wanted or explain the different. About the install. At first I have reservation because of the negative Lowe's review but Anthony told us that a lot of time the parts that were needed for an install project or the detail were not given to installers and due to the lack of addressing it at the big box stores. We so glad we didn't let the Lowe's review stop us from moving ahead with CCI and Anthony. Donny from CCI came out to remeasure all our windows and doors so that it can be order with the factory and right off i can tell that Donny knew what he was doing then i found out that he has been doing it for over 25 years and he is also a master certified by Andersen windows and doors and that really put my concern at ease. We didn't know that you can have such a professional workmanship in a construction project because most of our previous experiences has been hit or missed and not 100% but Donny and his team at CCI had really giving us an ultimate remodeling experiences. Thank you to Anthony and Donny for a job well done and we definitely will highly recommend CCI and Anthony our rep. read more

CCI was our Kraftmaid kitchen cabinet installer through Lowes. Rudy came and inspected our entire shipment prior to installation day. He noticed some items were damaged. He took care of coordination of replacement products In a timely manner. Anytime we had an issue with our order or installation questions, Rudy would respond immediately and help us problem solve. Rudy was in communication with his team of installers throughout the project. Our kitchen was a small project and yet Rudy was iinvolved every step of the way to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our finished project. We encountered many problems with our product, but thanks to Rudy and CCI's help and attention to detail we couldn't be happier. We couldn't have done this without Rudy and CCI. I wish there was a 10 STAR rating! read more

Donny and his team were amazing! They were the most organized contractors we have ever worked with. There were a few challenges with the front door installation but Donny and his team quickly adapt and found the best way to help with the damages that were out of their scope. Donny and his team replaced our front door including new frame and sidelight and 5 interior doors that needed to be hung and plumbed. The finished work exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to future work with our remodel exclusively through Donny and his team. thank you! read more

In brief, I highly recommend CCI. The company is very professional, and the work they have done is phenomenal. They are on time, responsive, and very delicate. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and efficient. To put it mildly, I am very pleased with their service and work and I will go to them with anything else I need! My interactions with CCI is one of my favorite experiences! We recently replaced our front door. We ordered the door through Home Depot. Initially another contractor was scheduled to install the door. Due to their multiple failures to install our door (more than two months), CCI Construction stepped in as a favor! Only a few hours after they were contacted, they came to our place to do measurements and the next day began the installation! read more

We decided this was the year to do our big kitchen renovation. We went through Home Depot and they assigned CCI to our job. This was a soup to nuts reno flipping the orientation of the kitchen and dining area. It involved some big changes one of which being the reconstruction of the kitchen window, it needed to be shortened by six inches. I'm happy to say the job went great! The whole kitchen looks amazing! The window came out great, you can't even tell where they had to replace the siding on the outside of the house to accommodate the new window. They were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond and resolve the couple of small issues we noticed after the kitchen was done. read more

I was referred to Anthony from a friend of mine and I saw some of the reviews and it really made no sense because I was treated by the most upward respect. I had a great experience with CCI Construction today! Jorge and Aurellio were prompt, tidy, and very efficient at installing both an internal door and an exterior storm door. They were very professional and ensured that they kept a very tidy work space, taking very good care of my hardwood floors and my rug. They took the time to explain each of the steps and were cognizant and respective of mine and my husband's work from home schedule while still getting all of the work done within the time frame specified. I will be using them again, if only I could use them without having to go through the Union City Lowes - alas, you can't have everything. read more

CCI made my windows and door replacement experience professional, friendly, and easy. I was kept up-to-date throughout the project. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Please be advised that CCI is contracted with Union City Lowes. I purchased 20 new Windows from Lowes, and CCI did a TERRIBLE job with the installation. The window installation for my property was completed but unfortunately no one from CCI conducted a follow up assessment to evaluate the finalized work of their skilled laborers. Nevertheless, I contacted Lowes to express my concerns regarding the unprofessional quality of work that I paid for, and to advise the installs department of how CCI fails to reflect their company values. There were a number of things that my family and I were unsatisfied with that I must share. First off, my wife discovered an area on our living room wall that sustained damage during the install (6 inch hole in plaster wall) and when we addressed it with the foreman he completely denied being responsible and stated that he observed that the damage was already present. Not only were we outright lied to, but we were also well aware that that he and his partner knew about the unreported damage because the broken debris had subsequently been swept from the ground and caught on our surveillance. I decided it was best not to press the issue, despite us having time stamped photos/videos that clearly shows the damage not being present when they removed the window vs. the damage being present when the window was installed( please see photos). In addition, we were EXTREMELY unsatisfied with the exterior caulking of the windows. The laborers clearly cut too much of the vinyl window trimming, forcing them to apply more caulk around the perimeter of the window gaps. Finishing touches are what separate professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship from novice workers. The windows were never taped off, resulting in excess caulk over the windows. My mother and I were forced to use a razor to remove leftover caulk from most of the new windows when the workers left. Even worst, the exterior walls were not taped prior to using caulk, so the application of the caulk has a very amateur appearance and the lines are NOT straight (please see pictures). There are also areas of the house where excess caulk was wiped on on the exterior walls instead of using a hand towel. In addition, they did a very poor job in cleaning up the broken debris in and around our property. They never used a vacuum, and upon their departure my mother, my wife, and myself had to re-sweep their work and vacuum all of the broken pieces of glass. In addition there were several pieces of broken glass outside the house that was left behind (please see photos). Lastly, I allowed them to use my extension cord which they never returned, and they left their truck straps on our front lawn next to our garden trellis that they broke. Our experience with CCI has been below average to say the least. In spite of Lowes having great service, had I known that CCI was not going to value me as a customer, I would have never proceeded forward with the installs at Lowes. Please understand that as a customer I would rather spend more money for quality work elsewhere. I highly recommend that anyone looking for new windows, take the extra precaution when ordering from Lowes or any major home improvement store for that matter. Request the company name of their contractors and do your research to save yourself a headache. read more

George is super professional and I feel lucky that he came and did a superb job on the repair. Nothing but praises for him. Two thumbs up! CCI construction is the third party contractor Lowe's uses to install windows. When installing our windows, they did not remove the aluminum window sill as outlined in our contract. When I questioned the installer he simply said, we'll it's not in my instructions and just kept on going. I showed the installer a copy of my contract which clearly stated the window sills be removed and replaced and he still said, it's not in my instructions and kept going. I called CCI and they did not answer nor return my phone call. Once Lowe's finally got involved, CCI only wanted to cover over the window sills and not replace them. Donny was very rude over text message and said he wasn't going to argue with me that it could not be done. if It couldn't be done, how were all the other aluminum window sills in my house removed and replaced when I had the windows replaced? They just didn't want to take the time to fix their mistake properly. Think once and twice before considering working with this company. read more

I highly recommend CCI Construction. The installer arrived promptly. Was very professional. Explained the process of what he is about to do. He did an excellent job. Any other future projects I would reach out to them again. They send text messages for updates on the schedule. They leave voicemails very clearly. I uploaded their final work and we are very satisfied. It took only 2 hours for them to install a storm door and security door. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for any home projects. read more

I'm giving this unrepeatable and unprofessional business a one star because I am forced to. This business deserves zero stars. This company is contracted by Union City Lowe's (window installs), and their staff did a TERRIBLE job with the installation of my windows. I highly encourage anyone to look elsewhere when shopping for a contractor to install windows. read more

Disastrous! In addition to the poor communication, Donny and his group did not finish the agreed upon project and clearly lack the knowledge and skills despite taking it on. Donny Yoon and his company were hired and given a deposit to hang new French doors in our home. When the workers came to our home, they did not know how to hang the doors. They blamed the door company and then the painter which I found out was all false, just trying to cover up their lack of knowledge. They left our home with a broken lock and our house alarm not working because of their efforts to remove two of our current doors. I contacted the door company, and they explained that everything was done correctly when manufacturing the doors and explained what the installers did not understand. I sent Donny all of this information along with my contact's phone number and email. Donny did not contact him and did not respond to our phone calls, emails, or texts. After several weeks had passed, we received an email that the workers would come back at a specific time without any discussion. We could not be there at the time due to prior commitments and immediately communicated that, including alternate dates and times. Despite multiple more attempts to arrange for another time, Donny never responded. So, after three months of having our doors in our garage, we hired another company to hang the doors. They arrived, hung the doors, and had no issues, reporting that it was clear that the initial people did not know what they were doing. read more
