Found A1 constructions contact on a flier and I am glad I did! I was looking for vendors to retrofit my old aluminum windows. I enquired with few vendors and received quote. Albert was quick to show up, take measurements and emailed me a quote in a couple of days. I also needed a door screen replaced and he was able to add that in the quote as well. The process further was quick and easy, with a Docusign and deposit payment, Albert gave me a rough timeline of when the windows would be delivered. Exactly 5 weeks later, as promised, I got my windows retrofitted in a day. Albert was also kind enough to add a latch to the top of one of my doors so kids won't be able to open it easily. It was wonderful to work with Albert and I would recommend A1 windows to anyone looking to replace their windows/screens. read more

We needed to replace our bedroom windows, so we researched companies online and read countless reviews. We finally decided to try A1 Quality Construction Window Specialist. Albert was very easy to work with and the windows were replaced quickly and efficiently at a reasonable rate. We then found out that Frank was a general contractor and hired him to update our guest bathroom and paint the exterior of our home. Frank's crew was punctual every day, worked hard and minimized the impact on our family while they were doing the work. Frank kept the project on budget. We are thrilled with how the bathroom turned out. We will be using Frank and A1 Quality Construction for a future project as well. read more

We were referred to Frank Payton through a friend, I was so tired of our dark kitchen, we had to turn lights on every morning. He suggested installing 2 windows. I was going to knock down a wall and hope for more light. The Sun tunnels were beyond what I expected and I couldn't be happier. This led to us noticing that the kitchen needed a face lift. We ended up redoing the counter tops, cabinets and added a kitchen island. I can't say enough good things about his crew. They were timely, friendly, considerate and cleaned up at the end of the day. Of course, then we needed to redo the flooring and Frank was able to help us with that as well. One stop shop and 1 year guarantee. I had lots of questions about timing and materials, and Frank always communicated with me that same day. He was patient and didn't over promise... in fact the job was completed in under the time frame he quoted. I have lived through 3 remodels and I can say this will be the only contractor I will ever use again. Highly recommend! read more

We couldn't be happier with the project A1 just finished at our house. Frank and team were detail oriented and did quality work. They were easy to work with and completed the work quickly. I appreciate both the communication they had with me and amongst their crew to keep the project moving. We love the new space they created and are happy with the windows and doors they installed as well. Thank you A1 team!! read more

On a scale of 1-10 can I give a 12? Send a pic to Albert and his quote to repair a screen was $35. Stopped by on his way home from work. I was gone by then, so I left the screen out, he repaired in no time and sent pics. Great guy. Super accommodating. Look how great it looks!!! Paid by Venmo and the entire process couldn't have been easier! read more

Frank and his crew are honest hard working and get the job done right. We just finished a full garage remodel which turned out great! Frank also replaced all our windows and installed Pano wall doors and windows in our house as part of a full home remodel that turned out wonderful. The value he brings with his experience and knowledge is next to none. He does an excellent job and he is extremely personable. His team is skilled, always on time and reliable. Even if something needs extra attention Frank makes sure he gets it right for you. Frank is also very fair on price and upfront on costs, if you want anything done he gives you a fair quote and does it on time! I am really happy with Frank and his team and I would highly recommend him for any remodel or window project you have at your home. read more

Albert was very professional. He diagnosed our window issue very quickly, identified the issue and most importantly made sure his fixes worked. He also accommodated an additional request we had. It was a pleasure working with him. Highly recommended. read more

Albert was wonderful! Showed up soon after my request, did an amazing job with a challenging situation, and charged a very reasonable amount. I highly recommend him. read more

You get what you pay for. A1 was the cheapest out of all the companies I contacted, and it reflects their service. The contracted glass was from Simonton. They requested my signature to order the glass 2 business days after the initial measurements and did not inform me that it needed to be signed immediately, or else the repair would be delayed by a week. They only seemed responsive when obtaining my business and asking me to pay. Sometimes they flat out would forget to respond to my emails. In the end due to the delays in the glass delivery I had to cancel the installation, but was left with the bill for the glass anyways. People say you can only pick 2 between cost, speed, and quality. A1 is only good if you don't mind barely acceptable quality and have an abundance of time. read more

Everyone showed up on time competitive price and excellent job. Highly recommend this company.

Albert was very responsive from beginning during the entire process. On the day of window installation, he was on the spot the entire day making sure everything went as expected. The workers made good preparations before they started. They showed professionalism and did a good job. read more

We highly recommend A1 quality constructions window specialists and his crew. They did an excellent job to install 2 windows in our home with Simonton windows. We appreciated their professionalism and efficiency. It is noticeable cooler in our house with our new windows since. Thank you A1 quality constructions window specialists for a positive experience! The price was very reasonable. Team work was perfect and we are 100% satisfied. Special thanks to Albert Ramos for listening to our requests and going beyond his duties. read more

I paid close to $20K for new windows throughout my 4-bed, 2-bath house during the pandemic, and the experience was disappointing to say the least. * One of the workers used our toilet and left the electric one unflushed for days (they didn't even bring those portable toilet to the site). * I was promised video recordings of the entire project (which I needed for licensing purposes later), but there were none. * A worker damaged my lawn, and while a manager promised to contact my gardener to fix it, nothing ever came of it. * They told me that parts of the walls would need reconstruction and that retrofitting wouldn't be ideal. Ironically, the retrofitted windows work smoothly, while two of the newly constructed ones still have issues closing. They did send someone out to fix the problematic windows, but to this day, some of them still don't function properly. While management had a good attitude and was apologetic about the issues, they admitted they couldn't send a supervisor to the site and referred to it as a "no parent at home" situation. I'm leaving this review now after a couple of years because I've realized that these problems weren't just short-term inconveniences -- they've had lasting effects. read more

Frank and Albert were great to work with. We replaced all of our windows and patio doors. We added a French door as well. Both Albert and Frank were very responsive throughout the process. This was a large job and they were able to get it done quickly and everything worked great. Frank also helped us remodel our home which basically touched every room. He was so great to work with, everything we asked for was done same day or next day. He was very responsive and always addressed and resolved any concerns or comments from us. We would recommend A1 and Frank to all of our friends (and we have). read more

Albert was fantastic! Friendly, efficient and quite skilled. He fixed both of my windows with ease within minutes. No tools needed. He quickly diagnosed the problem with both sliding windows, and made the necessary adjustments. I'm so happy, and the price was ridiculously reasonable. Charged me $85 but I gladly paid him $100. Highly recommended--6 stars read more

Had a sliding screen door and a couple window screens, rescreened and the corners repaired. Albert came out, he was professional, friendly, fast and did a good job. Communication was good and he showed up when he said he would. Zero complaints I would highly recommend. read more

We had leaking windows in our recently purchased home and the recent storm had caused lot of water to enter our home from the leaking windows. Many companies didn't want to take the job because it was a small one but A1 agreed to and at a very reasonable price. Albert from A-1 went above and beyond for us and fixed a leak in our bathroom too. Amazing work and I highly recommend them. read more

Albert is really awesome! He is very honest and will always guide you correctly. If you looking for a responsible and super knowledgeable contractor, who sticks to his quoted price and schedule, does quality work and is reasonably priced , read on... Frank not only quoted replacing the old, large kitchen window, but also a total kitchen remodel. He touched base with us at least 3X a day. Letting us know what the day/week plan was and if there were any changes. He was extremely proactive. and he also happens to be a very pleasant and genuinely nice man as well. His team is respectful, knowledgeable, performs complex tasks well, and cleans up daily. Frank estimated that the job would take 5 months, but he completed the job early. Along the way, we discovered extra scope that we wanted to add to the baseline plan, Frank WAS AMAZING at adapting to the changes and accommodating the extra work. We have another job for Frank, once we get the funds finalized. Can't wait to get the next job going.. read more

Nice work. Thank you so much! Very reasonable price with good work. Looking forward to working with you again!

Frank was great from picking up my call and throughout the whole process. I started looking to upgrade our windows and submitted quotes via Yelp. Frank answered fast and we scheduled a time to do a in home visit. He wrote his masks at all times and was very knowledgeable and informing. After several consultations, I decided to go with Frank and A1. It wasn't because it was the cheapest, but the service was what win me over. The day of they install, Albert and his team was great, masks on and fast. They did great work on our windows and cleaned up right after. Very knowledgeable as well I would recommend them. read more

We got 3 quotes, Frank's estimate is right in the middle. We've decided to go with Simonton Daylight Max with A1. He gave us an estimate time of 6 weeks and it's really 6 weeks when our windows arrived. Frank scheduled our installation 3 days after our windows arrived at his warehouse. Two crews showed up and finished installing our 20 windows in two days. They did a great job, and did not damage any of our stucco, etc. Simonton gave us lifetime warranty including accidental damage. Frank promised us no labor cost if there's any replacement in the future for as long as A1 still exists. I'm curious if anyone has claim any warranty repair years after installation? This is where good and bad vendor shows their real skin. Time will tell. read more

Prior to this year I had purchased multiple windows and a patio door from Frank Jewett who was working at A1 and always took care of my needs and services. Recently my patio door needed service so I called A1 and someone named Albert answered and said he couldn't help and that I needed to talk to the owner Frank Payton. After repeated attempts I finally received a text simply saying "Call Jewett". So...., I called Frank Jewett and he is helping me try to resolve this through his new employer Rosegold Builders, Thank you Mr Jewett & Rosegold Builders. I would not recommend doing business with A1 Quality Construction unless you plan on servicing the product yourself! read more

Absolute high quality work and great to work with. Did the work on time and efficiently. Highly recommend them.

These guys did an excellent job on my windows. Frank was super responsive and friendly. Alberto did an excellent job with the install. Excellent attention to detail, going the extra mile to leave the job and the job site looking good, worked efficiently, checking in when needed. I really appreciated the extra measures they took with our current situation. The masks, only one worker, and probably other measures I didn't notice. All of this was very much appreciated. read more

We had a great experience working with Albert at A1 for the replacement of a window with a patio door. The door was delivered and installed in a timely and professional manner and the pricing was competitive. We appreciated that A1 could do all of the work involved, including electrical, stucco, trim, molding, etc. The trim was slightly different than what we had discussed, but we let Albert know, and the crew came back the next day to fix it. read more

Frank was recommended by several friends who had used him for remodels. He did a garage renovation for us and was great through the whole process. He came out multiple times to help us decide what to do before we had even hired him and gave us great advice. Always with a smile and a positive attitude! He saved us a lot of money by not tearing down the whole garage and working with the very old structure. As other people have said, he and his crew are very diligent, work hard and get the job done on time. And they clean up every day! We are so happy with the quality of his work and enjoying our new garden room with a separate storage room. You won't go wrong with Frank! He's great!! read more

We are very satisfied with the work that was completed. A1 Quality Construction assisted us with creating an aesthetic and functional laundry room (cabinets, plumbing, etc), installing a window in our garage, and various other house projects. The team was kind, responsive, thorough, and professional. We look forward to working with the team again; thank you! read more

I've never been happier with my new windows and sliding patio door. I had these original single pane windows forever and they were old, bent, and left alot of room for air to get in. Finally, I decided to get dual pane windows throughout my condo and for my sliding patio door and results were amazing. I contacted many contractors and Frank won my business because he was so informative and attentive to my questions. Albert was the installer and did an amazing job. All were very professional and guaranteed their work. Thank you for everything and I definitely will be referring you to my friends. read more

Had A-1 install Milgard windows and have had nothing but problems with the windows. According to Milgard some of the windows were not installed correctly. Patio door failed due to improper install. One window does not open without a struggle. Again, Milgard states it is an install issue. This window has been serviced 3 times by Milgard and still does not work properly. In order to fix this issue we would have to get a complete new window at our cost. I do not recommend Milgard windows at all. As well I cannot say that A-1 Construction would be my choice again. read more

Frank was responsive and came over to inspect the job. I was set on a Milgard window and I asked his opinion on what to purchase and he brought out 2 samples from his truck and showed me a better window and I went with his suggestion. I asked why he didn't try to talk me out of a Milgard Tuscany and he said when people make up their minds, he does not try to sway them so I really liked his no pressure approach. I want to give a shout out to his installer Albert. Albert and his colleague did an awesome job on the installation of the new construction window on a prior retrofit aluminum window that was previous installed by the former owner. I was really worried they would have to cut the tile inside my window sill to make the window fit. The outcome looks like the window was built with the house and no tile was cut or altered to fit the new window. Thanks again Albert for the detailed / precision installation. read more

I just had 14 windows replaced by A-1 QUALITY CONSTRUCTION and I couldn't be happier!!! Frank answered all my calls and questions throughout the project. They arrived on time and the crew was considerate and professional. Wow! What a difference!!! It's way quieter inside and warmer too. I wish I had done this a long time ago but I was afraid of losing the aesthetic appeal of the old single-pane double-hung windows I had. With Frank's help, I was able to select the perfect windows that look like they are part of the original architecture. I had some ridiculous quotes from other vendors and will tell you that Frank and the team beat them all!!! You can trust A1 and Frank. Best value that I've found on any home improvement project I've done in 20 years!!! read more

Big thanks to Frank Payton for our new windows and doors! From the start, I had a great feeling about A1 Quality Construction. Frank was on time for the quote and was easy to talk to. I didn't know about the ins and outs of door and window replacement, so he carefully walked me through it and I felt educated by the end. We received a few different quotes and Franks was the best. We set the date and estimated the length of the project. Right on time, Frank showed up with Armando and the rest of the team. He put enough workers on the job in order to meet the deadline. When a part or material was needed, Frank personally picked it up and made sure everyone kept going. The best part was how they created barriers to keep the rest of the house clean and cleaned every surface and inside and out at the end of each day! Armando's crew never needed to miss a day or even an hour due to Frank Payton's planning and diligence. Now our home has modern doors and windows attached to memories of a pleasant construction experience. read more

Frank's customer service is at a different level than any of the other vendors I spoke with, got quotes from, or had onsite to take measurements. He also made sure that my windows got installed on a crazy fast schedule that no one else could match. His quote was competitive. He really goes the extra mile, is super friendly, communicative, punctual, and helpful as he can be. Can't recommend strong enough. Alberto and the crew were great. They retrofitted my entire house, 12 windows and a sliding glass door, in a single day. Installation was perfect. They also took great care with my walls when carrying large windows around tight spaces. I am enjoying the sound insulation and the thermal insulation very much, and the windows look great! After the installation I realized that I had forgotten to order an outside key lock for my sliding glass door. When I mentioned this to Frank, he came over on the same day and installed a new key lock no charge. I would definitely go to Frank & Alberto again for a future windows project for myself or my friends. read more

Don't bother unless you have whole house worth of windows you want replaced! I agree with a previous review...if you have a small job, probably not worth their time. I even told them I only needed a few windows changed(but wanted new construction installation, which another reviewer mentioned they could do) and another one repaired that had been leaking(previously replaced). The gentleman who stopped by was nice enough but never heard back. Waste of time for both of us! read more

WARNING... Don't waste your time. Don't bother calling this company. I inquired about window replacement but instead I was treated by an arrogant man name frank. He was rude over the phone and be little a me saying he get all this messages inquiring about windows and etc. as if my project is not important and not worth his time. He has the guts to call me back and text me and left me a message apologizing. The damage has been done. To make the story short. Don't call this business. I'll be reporting him to better business bureau and hope They close his business down. read more
