Emy has repeatedly demonstrated unprofessional behavior such as, speaking in her native language to her fellow technicians when she is in disagreement with her customer. It is very obvious as the other techs she's speaking to, look at her customer. Yes, her skills are good but it is not worth being disrespected. Emy was tipped over & beyond, but remained disrespectful. She would also talk under her breath in front of her customer, of course in her native language. Just walked out of this salon. They bump up prices. Additional $5 for cuticle during the refill? Additional $5 for a certain nail polish? Additional $5 for a coffin shape? Additional $5 for longer nails (I already have long nails)... the refill got up to over $50!?! So what exactly what I am paying for? Half of their staff can't get the right shape anyway. Beware, however, that the woman at the checkout will chase you out into the parking lot yelling that you are a thief if she doesn't see you pay with her own eyes. I do like the quality of the service and the cleanliness of the stations, equipment and tools, but not sure I will go back after being humiliated in public. I am a regular customer and had paid my bill- with a credit card- before she came chasing me and yelling.... I'm a fan...now upon entering this place I thought this was going to be tiny, but this place is huge with rows of seats for pedicures and tables for manicures, gel, dip powder. The ambiance is really nice, they usually offer water or wine but I didn't get asked that. My friend Kate who's a regular here did end up asking for water for me. I had an appointment and waited for about ten minutes..not bad! So parking here is a bit cramped but then again I came here on a Friday night. For a manicure and pedicure it's $35, and I tip in cash too so it helps my lady who did my feet and nails. They seemed happy to get cash rather than the usual card. They are not pushy at all, have comfortable massage chairs and tons of nail color selections to choose from. I really appreciate that they didn't cut my cuticles too deep and offered a massage. The manager checked on me to see how everything was. If I have to pick a last minute place to get my feet pretty you betcha I would come here again. I don't care for wine at a nail salon, but for service and entertainment...its a great place to unwind and also take care of calls/texts while your feet get a nice treatment. This establishment as far as decor and location was very nice but upon getting serviced I didn't like how my nails and feet turned out. Firstly, the nail tech painted over my toes multiple times where the polish looked thick and bumpy and would get polish everywhere while painting them. Upon leaving I noticed I had gel on my skin and it looked so messy. read more

This used to be my favorite nail spot...I would drive to Houston for them. But they lost a lot of good nail techs and the quality of the manis, pedis, massages, and customer service isn't good anymore. Today I got the classic mani & pedi combo. I'm glad I didn't pay for the deluxe because my massages were short and very weak...massage chairs suck now and the water was cold I had to keep hands in for mani. My nails were not fully painted. Some 1/3 of the nail wasn't painted fully with color. I had to remind them of my shoulder massage that came in package. Won't be going back. read more

My girlfriend and I work in the service industry and get our nails done every two weeks. We usually try out different salons in the Gallaria near our job because we're both from The Woodlands. We called the salon around 4:30 and asked if they did the dip powder nail, and the lady said yes. We asked if they could take two in about 20 minutes and she said yes. When we arrived about 5 til 5, the lady up front told us to pick out our colors. When we sat down, I asked the lady who was doing my pedicure if they did nail art and she said yes. I said perfect, I had a very simplistic idea in mind. When offered the pedicure services, I chose the basic and immediately caught attitude from the tech. She insisted that I get the deluxe, to the point where I said yes so she would just stop. The technician doing my nails, Kay, stuck my fingers in polish remover for over 10 minutes completely drying out my hands and got mad when she came back and I hadn't moved my fingers enough to get the previous powder off. She was very rough, extremely rude. She persisted the entire time that I get my cuticles cut (which I do on my own because I'm sensitive and they tend to bleed) and when I declined, for the rest of the time kept mumbling the words "cuticle cut" to the other ladies making it very obvious she was irritated with my refusal. When she finished painting, I showed her the design and she sighed loudly and said "oh.....I already put the finishing coat. You wanted a design?" I tried reminding her that I told her previously that I had wanted it, but she just kept saying that she already finished and couldn't do it. It was 6:08, and although they had a full salon, she mentioned to me that they were closed. At this point, I look over at my girlfriend who is almost in tears because they have now painted and removed her design over 5 times and then proceeded to tell her it was too hard to draw a spider web. Her total - $94 Deluxe ped was $34 Matte coat on fingers/toes - additional $10 Dip $40 Cuticle cut on hands/toes - additional $10 Mine - $74 Deluxe ped $34 Dip $40 We both left in borderline tears with plain nails that weren't cleaned up (polish still all over fingers), and chipped nails by the time we got to the car. The only thing about this place that ill say is that I'd love to "CC" my money back for this over priced, horrible service nail salon. I'll be going back an hour drive to Conroe to ShaTiff Nail and Spa where they actually care about the quality and their customers. read more

Went to CC Nails instead of my regular nail salon because I was close by and meeting my mom for lunch afterwards. My dip manicure at my normal salon normally lasts 2-3 weeks (depending on nail growth) with no chipping or breaking. After just 2 weeks I had two nails ripped off, and when I went to my normal salon today to get a fresh manicure, found out I have fungus on three nails!!!!!! This is NOT ok. read more

I have been going to this place since it opened. I get the standard pedicure and eye brow wax. I didn't go for every chip...but pretty consistently every 2 months or so. I finally broke down and got the shellac manicure. It was $30 and was supposed to last for 2+ weeks. Mine started chipping just a week later. So I went back today to have them take it off. They offered to fix it for free but I decided I just wanted it off since I will be traveling and didn't want it to mess up in the middle of a business trip. I also got a pedicure today. As I was paying, I realized they charged me $5 to take off the nail polish. They refused to waive this fee, even though they were going to fix it for free, because I couldn't identify the person who did my nails. I think they should have remembered me...I was the one who had the acrylic put on one nail because it was broken...the guy who denied me the $5 waiver, was the one who told them how to fix it. That is not the kind of customer service I like to see when I'm spending money on a luxury item. I was driving out of my way to go here...now they just lost a customer of 2+ years over $5. read more

I have been here a number of times and when they were smaller they gave better attention. Last weekend I went and had a classic mani and deluxe pedi and the manicure was so bad I had to borrow the nail file and re file my nails on the spot, they didn't push back cuticles or even rub my hands and arms. Just pitiful. The pedicure...well I had high hopea. I told them I was a nurse and wanted my toes short as I am on my feet often. I ended up with the big toe on my right foot having a cut across the back where they tried to remove the cuticle, and three more cuts around that toe, then had to work 3 12 hour shifts. You shouldn't feel like you are on a conveyor belt and getting bad service qhen you are paying to be pampered. They missed even the basics like giving me a pillow to put in my lap to read my book on the the big stuff of messing up the actual service. When I pay my hard earned money for a little beauty treatment I don't expect to leave wounded and mad. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

I think it's important I share my experience because all the reviews are positive and I too considered this my safe go to place. I had a pedicure the lady used a sanding drill on my toes. My my middle toe nail turned purple and my big toe thickened. My podiatrist said I had a fungus on both nails. This place has always got me in and out during lunch but was that really worth the $400 I had to pay to get rid of the fungus? Ya nooooooo My podiatrist recommend a safe pedi place. At first I was very excited to find this place because they were quick, attentive and reasonably priced, AND my nails looked good when I came out of the salon. HOWEVER, within less than a week my shellac manicure had these cracks all over the place. Every single nail had cracks on the polish. I went back a second time thinking maybe I didn't take care of my nails well enough the first time, but it happened AGAIN. So I'm definitely not returning. Shellac manicures should last you at a very minimum a full whole week, not just a couple of days. read more

All the reviews on here were great, so I figured why not give it a try. When I walked in and sat down, they were in a rush to get started without really letting me decide on my color. I ended up doing white tip, because the shellack was $45. WOAH-- First what really made me upset was that she charged me $5 JUST TO CUT MY CUTICLES. I have been going to my regular nail salon, and never ever had them charge me. FIVE DOLLARS for something that should be included in a manicure.. Then they rushed through the whole thing. I was out in about 30 minutes, which isn't bad, but you can tell it didn't have time taken. The lady never spoke to me. On the reviews, it said every manicure comes with a massage but I didn't get one. My mom who was also with me had the same thing done. The lady cut her finger when she trimmed down the nail (white tip) WITH SCISSORS!!!!! I won't ever come back to this place again. The atmosphere was very weird as well--- the tables were in the middle of the salon with pedicures being done on your left and right. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails. I expect the best nail experience or the owner hears about it. I enjoy coming to cc nails because it's a clean place and there is never a wait. The one thing I don't like is I feel like the women talk about me when I'm there. Sometimes I'll see 3 or 4 look up at me and smile while everyone is chatting. Sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. Other then that the work is thorough. I have recommended this place to my friends but I wouldn't ask for too many designs or details. They do french really well. read more

I'm torn... I give a 4 for the experience but a 2 for the quality of work... so 3 it is. Appearance- clean, plain, nice equipment. Pricing- GREAT! A previous reviewer mentioned that they should tell the prices before hand- they must have taken the advise. Now they hand you a laminated sheet that has the different levels of both manicure and pedicure with a complete description of each level. Very easy to understand. For $28 you get the basic manicure- for $48 (I think.. don't quote me) you get the deluxe version of both. I would recommend it for the pampering alone! Quality of work- Hmm. I've now been three times and I've had mixed feelings each time. Each time I've gone I've had different technicians and each time the polish has been WAY too thick. Two of three times my polish developed bubbles on almost all nails. After a little googletective work I've decided this is from a combo of polish put on too thick and too quickly between coats. Additionally the polish is so thick around the nail beds that it looks like layers are going to start peeling off. Not what I want to see after throwing 50 bucks at a mani/pedi! I called today and asked that my polish be redone after my manicure from yesterday is terribly bubbly and they seemed to be okay with a polish change for free... we shall see what happens when I get there. read more

Rude owner!!! (the woman, her husband was pleasant) So I went there at my lunch break yesterday to do a mani pedi. The ladies were friendly, but the person that does my nail was new, (it was her 2nd day doing this- no big deal). she was taking a LONG time to find the colors I requested, and still couldn't find it, so she came back w similar colors after 20+ mins. Now I'm literally 30 mins into my manicure and haven't start a thing. Finally after she (tried to) cut my cuticles I'm 50 mins in, so I asked the owner to speed things up so she got someone helping paint. All was fine except for my cuticles weren't really cut and shallac is a little over my finger on some. So after I paid, I simply asked "do you guaranteed how long shallac last?" She said "yes one week." I said "my cuticles weren't really cut, but I don't have time anymore, I've been here for an hour and 20 mins, no massage nor anything."(I wasn't even upset when I talked to her!). She responded :"yes it took a long time bc you kept on changing colors, the girls told me." I was like.. WHAT???? I said I didn't change colors, I only looked at different colors because she CAN'T find the colors I wanted! So by that point I was mad. Her husband jumped out and said I should come back and they will cut my cuticles when I have time. I appreciate he being professional, but I will never go back bc of the owner is rude and argumentative. I popped into CC Nails for a deluxe mani & pedi after receiving a gift certificate from a friend. The deluxe pedi included a hot stone massage (and various other treatments, but I don't know what to call them). The deluxe mani included a shoulder massage (in addition to the other various treatments included with the deluxe pedi). The shoulder massage was truly fantastic. Overall, the service was spectacular and VERY efficient. I was in-and-out in 45 minutes. Rose & Mary did a great job. My nails looked flawless. The facility looked very clean and sanitized, and the environment was super pleasant. It was not overcrowded, as there were plenty of chairs and staff. I had a gift certificate, but if I had not I would have paid $62 for the deluxe mani & pedi. Great price!! I can safely say CC Nails is my new favorite mani/pedi place. I am looking forward to my next visit! read more

Worst nail experience I've ever had. I came in and asked if they had a specific color, they said they had it but it was gel so they had to do a clear layer of gel over my acrylic. When it came down to it they didn't have the color I wanted or any similar. So, I had to go with a completely different color and it ended up costing me extra in order to get a color I could have gotten as an acrylic in the first place. Also, my lady cut all of my cuticles and I was bleeding all over my nails and she did nothing about it. I will not be coming back. read more

My sister brought me to CCs, her go to salon, due to nice decor and quick turnaround. My preferred nail salon is not far from here, but i agreed to try it out. My place is clean but definitely no chandeliers in sight, a classic case of function over form. My sister was right, we were in chairs and had our feet soaking in record time, this in spite of what seemed like a full house of customers in pedicure chairs and manicure tables. I was surprised at the number of both clients, workers and the assembly line precision that the workers had going. I was handed a menu of services to choose from, with description and prices, I did like that. My place has an old board with various changes evident by pieces of paper of different font taped over the old price, or random little 8x10 signs on the walls with a name and cost of a service or policy. Once I stated my mani/pedi choice, the young lady proceeds to upsell me, which my place does too so I won't hold that against them. They made quick business of my sister and I...Henry Ford would be proud. Afterward, my sister asked if I would be coming here from now on, my answer was...no. But why, she asked, it's big, nice decor, little wait time, etc., etc.. My answer was simply, this place was nice but I'm sticking to my homely, but clean and friendly place, where the owner knows my name and the ladies ask for my niece and bring out their snacks so I can taste. I've been back to CC with my sister at least one other time and recently found out that they do dip nails. For the last couple of years i have gone between regular manicure and shellac but decided to try dip. My place is not on the dip bandwagon...yet, so today, my friend E and I came to CCs for mani/pedis. Walked in and like before; place is full, instructed to pick our polish, showed our chairs, her mani table in front of my pedi chair and off we go. E is having her nails cut for a regular mani, clear polish, my pedi and dip mani are underway. I notice an older lady walk in, she and E's manicurist talk, she sits down next to my friend and the manicurist gets up and tells my friend that she's going to work on the other lady...someone else will come take over her mani. Uh. What? E comes over to sit next to me. She explained that lady wanted a shellac mani, but since the place was full, she'd get some shopping done at Costco and be back a little later to which the manicurist insisted she sit down and she would start on her right away, which she did...leaving my friend in a state of surprise, confusion and eventually angry. Had my mani pedi not already been well under way, I would have gotten up and taken my friend out of there. In hindsight, I regret not leaving right there and then, half cut, wet feet and half filed fingernails or not. After a couple of minutes another young woman showed up to ask E to sit back down so she can get started on her mani and we explained that she was no longer interested. As I was leaving, the woman taking my payment (owner or manager?) Asked if everything was ok...I explained what happened, she tried to play it off by saying the lady had an appointment, we said no, she did not and had specifically said she'd come back after a quick trip to Costco. We informed her that what happened was rude and my friend was upset and we would not be returning to this salon again. She said she was sorry, said she'd talk to the manicurist...and proceeded to get to the next customer handing her their credit card. My place doesn't have sparkling crystal chandeliers and newly painted and faux stone walls, nor multiple pyramid displays of every imaginable shade of polish and countless shades of shellac and dip shade samples...and yes sometimes I have to sit and thumb through magazines while a chair frees up, but at least E has always felt welcome and at ease and I certainly have never felt unappreciated or ignored. 1 star because at least the ladies that worked on my mani pedi behaved professionally and did a good job. read more

$15 manicure, the shellac/pedicure my friend got was over $50 which was pretty pricey given that mani/pedi is $25! Taking off a star for the huge differential. Should be like $10 extra to get shellac not $27 more! This place has operations down pat. While there were plenty of people on Labor Day, they were fully staffed so that people were simaltaneously getting their mani and pedi. This is great for two reasons. 1. efficiency and 2. you feel like a diva. Every person getting a mani/pedi was getting both done at the same time. Solid. Color selection was pretty alright. Enough that I of course had plenty of options, but not too many. Sometimes I like being overwhelmed with color choices though! I had Helen for my mani and she did a great job!
