Worst French manicure I have had in April and when I tried to complain they just kept telling me to call back and talked to the owner who was never there! My daughter just went today and tried a different manicurist and had another blotched manicure. The edges are sticky with black dots on some of the polish. unprofessional. Disorganized. unqualified. unless you want your skin ripped off, don't go near the waxing room. I will never get a man/ pedi here again. They should all change fields of work and close up shop. Worst experience in my life in a nail shop. There was ONE friendly woman in the shop (has a bob). You can get a hot stone massage at ANY spa in Houston. For $3 more at my place, they won't take your skin off and be complete buttholes. read more

The pedi and medi was $32 which is reasonable. I experienced a bad time yesterday. There's one lady that works there she is RUDE. I was picking my nails color and she keep asking me am I ready in an unprofessional way and keep pointing to the spa chair for me to go there. Its seem like she in a rush or something and the place was not busy at all while I was there. While doing my pedi she would tap on my foot every time if she need it to come out from the water to work on it with out asking politely. This lady had a lot of attitudes and not friendly. I went here three times, first time for my upcoming wedding. Great place...clean, professional. Sometimes they get kind of busy, but it's a pretty quick process. The other customers were all return customers which is always a great sign. I had a woman named Jenny, who made me feel comfortable. So, good and bad reviews...what do you expect? Everyone has a bad day.. All reviewers appear to be women..so (a man's view)I went there for the last few weeks. Used to go there years ago...changed and the new place was so understaffed that there was always a wait. Then last week on a Sunday I went elsewhere..OMG..no sterility.. Won't be back there. They actually cut me with unsterile instruments. Back to Spice Nails for me. I used to go there and had my own little box in the back room for safety...remember those days? Now, they use autoclave instruments. So, I am good with that. So far no bad experiences. The one thing that does irk me...they chat with each other in their language. Maybe they are saying ."Get a look at the ugly toes on this one?" I do wish they would speak English. But this is very common....I just wish one salon did this differently...Like saying..Lets not talk to each other in a language patrons don't understand. read more

I waited for 45 minutes for a mani (powder dip) and was ignored so I left. Apparently only 2 people of the 5 there could do that technique. One was busy with their regulars but the other decided she just wasn't going to do it. The lady that was asked to do it started and finished another person who came after me and then went to the back and never came back. Guess she just didn't want to do my nails. My sister took me here as a gift. It was a nice atmosphere when I walked in. I decided to go with a mani/pedi. The pedicurist was very thorough and did a great job. Then when I started my manicure the manicurist was very rough with me. Grabbed my hands forcefully and didn't even give me a hand massage. She also cut me with her instruments! omg never again this place! I took my little sister and myself to go get our nails done at a new place. I knew I should've walked out immediately after my pedicure started with supplies coming out of the box instead of a prepackaged clean sterile packet like most places!! I gave it the benefit of the doubt and immediately after she was done poking at me feet I asked her to spray it with antiseptic spray because I'm not fixing to get any kind of infection. I'm used to clean and sanitary nail places but this place was horrid. We were the first ones there and came in for pedicure and manicure for both of us. My sister had acrylic and I knew it was going to take longer so they started on her hands while I was finishing my pedicure. They left her sitting there with her nails in solution for 30 mins and started to work on other people I asked if someone was going to finish her nails because we wanted to leave close to same time. When I said something to the lady she said something to someone working on someone else's feet who got up WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS, to go and start touching my sisters hands and then went back to the other persons feet. Not to forget the lady doing my manicure was also using the same box of utensils that probably never gets clean. I immediately told them to stop and we were leaving. Not clean, not sanitary, no regulations. Absolutely disgusting. read more
