Updated 7/31/26 I've been a customer for 4 years - now looking for a new salon. Done! Previous manager, Dylan, was wonderful to work with. Her replacement (temp or otherwise)...not so much. The front desk no longer knows or values their customers, they are dismissive and rude. They have a few technicians that shouldn't be anywhere near nails. One in particular is Johnny...he's rough, nick's your cuticles, doesn't listen to what you want, and has very basic skills. They offer hundreds of colors, but are pushy within 22 seconds of you looking to make a choice and sit in a chair. I typically pay around $200-$220 for mani, pedi and tip...I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The facility is very nice but the artist level for the nail techs are awful and I almost cried when they were done. I thought they would be nice because they spent over an hour doing the work. They were super nice but please don't come here if you want your set even a little bit more difficult than a basic French tip. Even the French tip part of my set started peeling after 4 days. If you wanna get your acrylics off I'd go here not for color or anything else. read more

Citris Nail Spa - A week and a half only already looks awful like I work at a construction site smh - Nail Salons Near Me - Bellaire, Texas

I have been to this salon 3 times, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. First, I'd like to say that my pedicures have all been wonderful! The techs have been thorough but gentle, the massages great, my feet/legs soft, and my toe nails look great. The problem comes with the manicures. I get dip with a small design on my ring fingers. The designs have been pretty. However, with the first and third visits there were issues with the plain nails. The first time, the top coat started to peel after 1 week. When I went back, they redid it and it also started to peel right at 1 week. My second visit went well with no problems. My last visit (yesterday), the tech was rough and rushed. When I got home I could see that the top coat was smudged or ridged on almost every nail. When I went back today the same tech redid the top coat in the same rushed manner. I have been getting my nails done for years and not had this kind of consistent problem. The cost is a bit higher at this salon but I was willing to pay a little more if the end product looks great. While the atmosphere and the color choices are excellent, I will not go back to this salon. read more

This is the perfect neighborhood nail salon. I've gone during the weekday and on weekends and their service has been phenomenal each time. Surprisingly enough, I have never needed to make an appointment because they always have enough technicians available and they're never THAT busy. It's clean and everything looks very organized when you look around. You're greeted by the front desk receptionist and they quickly note down which services you are wanting and then encourage you to pick your colors. Before you can even pick a color, a technician is greeting you to escort you to your mani or pedi chair. If I'm doing both services, they've typically come and do both while I'm in the pedi chair - so you're in and out even faster. It also makes you feel special when they're doing both. read more

I called ahead to ensure they had availability for same day service for nails and a pedicure. I was serviced immediately upon arrival and really enjoyed my visit. My nails came out really great, this was my first time trying oval shaped nails and I really enjoyed them. The color (Cappuccino 110 in the Dip Powder) looked so natural and amazing. My pedicure also came out really great. The nail techs were also very kind and sweet. Overall, I'd recommend. It's a little more on the pricer side but the quality is good so it was worth it. read more

Overpriced, poor service, low quality. Booked a gel manicure and the deluxe pedicure. The nail techs weren't rude exactly, but they certainly weren't welcoming. Both of them nicked my cuticles, one even causing one to bleed. The gel manicure started chipping the very next day. Would not go back. read more

My partner and I had been coming here about 6 months. We really enjoyed it! We felt it was clean, well taken care of, the staff was nice, they had a good selection, great availability - just everything we were looking for in a nail salon since we had just moved to this side of Houston. We are sad to say that is not the case anymore. Being a gay couple, we know people have opinions that we cannot change. During our last visit on April 4th, around 5:30pm, we both got the basic pedicure and a dip manicure. My partner had her dip done from a man, Ethan(?), and I don't remember anyone else's names unfortunately. The entire time they were laughing and talking which I was fine with. I noticed they would look at her, laugh, look at me, laugh, over and over. I just kept minding my business, trying to be cordial with everyone. Eventually, as my hands are being done and I'm getting the dip color, I ask "babe? Do you like this color on me" when I immediately hear one of the ladies doing our pedicure mock in the same tone "babe" and laughter follows from the all the technicians doing our nails. We were sad. Uncomfortable. Irritated and angry. They finished and continued to snicker and laugh. I tried to mind my business and hope it was something else. I never want to assume they are talking about me or whoever I'm with, but after everything that had happened, I can't help but think it wasn't about us. I told the manager who seemed to respond genuinely. She matched my level of concern and assured me she would speak with them. She agreed that no one should feel uncomfortable regardless of relationship status. I appreciate her apologies and told her I wasn't looking for anything in return, but I felt that I had to stand up for us. She ended up giving us a pedicure for free and telling us not to tip any of them. She was sincere and her apologies were accepted. So, this is just a PSA to any non heterosexual couples in the area who may be interested in Citris. Take your money elsewhere! read more

Going to give a 4 star, I had one bad experience out of 5. Let's get into it! Plenty of parking, shared with other businesses, multiple entries available into the parking lot. Citrus Nail Spa has multiple locations, each have a different owner. This location is in a shopping center, gorgeous modern aesthetic design. Plenty of OPI colors to choose from, and they sell cute little jewelry at the register by the entrance. Restroom is clean, sometimes could use some more tidying up, over all is ok. Plenty of room & sinks to go around to wash your hands. Appointments available by phone. If you are ever unsure, just call ahead and see if they can see you when you arrive so you don't have to wait. All the chairs have some good massage functions, and nobody tries to up-sell you. Which I really like a lot. Alrighty, so let's get into my bad experience.... I felt like my nail tech rushed through my pedicure. Some areas were sensitive, which I pulled back when she was cutting some skin, and she nicked me. Which is fine, I understand ship happens.... Which made me extremely alert and anxious. She used some tools a little deep, and rough when shaping. I asked her to cut an ingrown mail and she told me I need to see a doctor because of the way the nail had grown. Ok, I understand - so I let her know I won't get polish since I need to see a doc. After that, she massaged my legs and feet and proceeded to grab the polish. I declined again, and mentioned I'll see a doc and take her rec. typically when I have a bad experience I don't go directly to yelp and write about it. Unless it's multiple things consistently. But, I went home, sharp edges around my nails, and there's also remaining polish in the corners. (That let's me know all of that old polish wasn't removed) I likely will never return because I'm sensitive like that, however I would encourage everyone in any nail shop or situation. If you found someone you like. Take their name, book an appointment with them. Give people an opportunity, and if things don't feel right, stop immediately. There are good nail techs at this shop that I really liked and I didn't take their names because I just assumed everyone was good. But each person has their own patience, talent, and skill set. Find that person! Thank you for reading! Syoy read more

They accepted my friend and I at the last minute which I so appreciate. The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxed with a bar. Definitely rushed, but my techs were on point (gel mani & pedi) and my nails came out so pretty. Not so much for my friend (dip mani & reg pedi). If you go ask for Mia, she was amazing, friendly, and skilled. Would go back for Mia. read more

Top notch service and quality nails. When a nail broke within the first few days after my P&W dip, they quickly repaired it at no cost. When another one broke later that afternoon (it was a thinner than normal applicaton) they were happy to prep and apply another layer plus two top coats at no cost. The decor is beautiful, the faculty is very clean, the equipment is new (they opened in June) and they offer a variety of drinks (included with service). My personal favorite is the Poinsettia (champagne, cranberry and vodka). Nice little refreshing sipper while you get pampered. I am definitely a regular now! read more

Very disappointing experience - went here and was told the wait wouldn't be too long for a manicure. The couple times I asked about how much longer it would be, the answer was always 10-15 minutes. This ended with me leaving over an hour later with still no waiting end in sight. When I asked for the last time what the wait would be, the gal behind the desk got flustered and told me she couldn't control how long it would take and that I could go if I wanted. I get she can't control how long the technicians take - but she can control the information she passes to me, and not outright lie by saying 10-15 minutes! I Would have preferred an honest answer so I wasn't stuck at 5:00 on a Sunday evening scrambling to find an open salon to do my nails - will not be going back here anytime soon, which is a shame because they have done a great job the previous times I've been! read more

I've been to the Citris in Bay Area and loved their service there, that I followed the chain to here because it's closer to my house. I came in about 15 min earlier than my appointment time. I was offered a complimentary (alcoholic) drink and seated right away. Phuong did my pedicure and Quyen did my full set - I don't know if they go by other names for customer convenience. They were super fun to chat with and I love their service. My nails are so pretty and the pedicure massage felt AMAZING. They opened up 2 months ago but all of the staff have many years of experience so don't let the new opening deter you from coming. Attached pictures of my fingernails, will not show my ugly feet on the internet lol. This place does charge on the mid-higher end but for the service, I am not complaining. Highly recommend and I will likely return if I'm ever in the area and need to get my nails done! read more

Everyone here is very sweet and efficient! The nail salon is very clean and relaxing. My nails always turns out the way I love it!

I really wanted to give this place a chance. It is cute, in a great location and all the staff are nice. I've been here a total of 3 times now. The first time was an okay experience- I got dip done and it lasted about 1.5-2 weeks. I did experience the wait time others noted in their reviews, but I figured that they were doing the best they could and didn't think it was a huge deal. Second experience- I got dip done and loved how it looked right after. However, after just TWO DAYS, I already had one nail chipping. As I was out of town, I couldn't go back to get it fixed. Within a week, I had 3 nails chipping. I went back for a third time as soon as I got back in to town and told them that I was surprised it had chipped in such a short time. The person at the front desk, who was very polite, stated that they'd take a look at it. I got my dip removed and shellac put on. I thought the shellac came out well and the technician did a great job. However, when I went to pay, I was charged full price for the shellac and dip removal. I was expecting some sort of compensation for a dip manicure, which should last at least two weeks, that only lasted one week. While I really wanted to love this place, it seems very hit or miss and overall not super consistent or long lasting for the high prices. read more

I was on my daily afternoon walk when I noticed Citris Nail Spa was open. I was definitely due for a mani pedi so I decided to try it out. Upon entering the ladies at the front desk happily greeted me and gave me the full run down on their services. They let me know they could take me in immediately and offered me a drink. The mani pedi turned out great I left feeling relaxed and enjoyed the experience. I'll be back in two weeks! read more

First time here !!! Sophia Was my nail tech and she did a very good job !!!! I will be returning to her for my next visit .

I wouldn't go here unless you're willing to wait for a very long time. I had an appointment for a pedicure and waited for almost an hour with my feet in the water to the point where they got pruney and the water was cold. I eventually just left. This is the second time this has happened to me here. They either need to take on less appointments or hire more people. read more

I have now been twice and love this place. Great overall experience. It is very clean and the staff are so friendly. They have great color choices. I will definitely will be back. read more

I have been driving past this nail salon for months now and just never had the time to stop in. I decided to treat myself to a relaxing pedicure yesterday so I stopped in. The girl at the front desk didn't even greet me when I entered and didn't really speak to me until I asked if she had availability for a pedicure. I was glad they had an opening and I sat in the relaxing massage chair. My technician did not even greet me only asked if the water temp was ok so I have no idea what her name was. She began to trim my nails and then started trimming my cuticles and then she went to town on my right big toe. I had been trying to avoid getting in grown nails again from the last time another technician at another salon did the same thing. Before I could say "no" she had trimmed my nail on the side which will ALWAYS cause an in grown for me !! I asked her not to cut the sides anymore and she didn't but the damage was already done! Once she finished my big toe was sore but didn't appear red....yet! This is what it looks like today...! Needless to say...I will not be back! read more
