Terrible experience, I had my nails done by Tiffany and first she got annoyed that I asked if she could do my nails a little more squared. She started being aggressive and when I finished I noticed some of my fingers had blood and I had a piece of hair from a brush in my nail so I asked if I could get it fixed and as she is doing it she hit my arm and said to put it in the UV light. I've been here a couple times because of the convenience of it being close by. But today was my last time. They are sweet but the quality is poor. The prices are never the same, and there's one lady who has done my pedicure a couple times and each time she's cut to deep with her tools causing me to bleed. So when I go back I can't even relax and enjoy what's suppose to be relaxing. Also, today I asked if someone could work on my nails at the same time as my pedicure because I had planned on making it to lunch with my friends. They agreed, only for the lady working on my nails to be working on stocks and texting taking multiple breaks stopping on my nails, causing me to miss my lunch because I sat in the chair an hour longer than I should have. The nails ended up looking a mess, the polish and shaping was sloppy. I had to ask her to fix a few crooked nails. Just save your time and money and find another nail shop. read more

Felt rushed (I did come in late, at 6:30 but I don't think clients should be accepted if it will be left like thus) I don't like my nail shape because I didn't ask for it. I usually get square, but I wasn't asked what shape I wanted. I didn't realize till later to be honest, I wish I had said some thing. Messy, also the chrome on my left foot is way more pink. It's hard to tell in the picture, but it's very obvious in person. It looks like 2 different colors because of the chrome was not done well. Just don't like. It was done quick. Paid $55, but it was supposed to be $65, I tipped $10. Also was hoping this would be my new regular salon as I just moved in next-door. Visited this place about a week after it opened and their service was great! They also had a 25% off all services sale going on! I was greeted immediately upon walking in and taken to my chair for a pedicure and acrylic nails (Full Set). The ladies were super sweet and quick! I got my pedicure and nails done all within an hour. They also offered complimentary water, soda, and wine! The entire salon was very clean and luxurious! It was definitely worth the discounted price and experience! I think the original prices for the pedicure and full set are $40 and $45 correspondingly, which seems reasonable for the area. My nails still look great 2.5 weeks later, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish they could have cleaned up behind my nails. There is still some solidified powder leftover so it makes it a little harder to keep the nails clean. This may have been because we went during closing time and they may have been rushing. I come here about once a month. I always get gel Toes and pink & white acrylic nails.... It's always about 80 bucks.... Today I came in and for some Reason it was $40 more than usual. My pedicure was $30 They charged $10 for the removal My total was $120 which means pink and white nails with no removal cost me $80 that is a stupid price to pay for the simplest nails. When I asked for a receipt they gave me a piece of paper that said $120 and stamped it and refused to break down the costs for me. I spoke to the lady who did my toes as well as the lady that always works the front desk... they lost my business and I've been there over 8 times.... Hope the $40 Was worth it read more

The one day I decided to get a Gel Set the owner talks me into a Dip set instead and I knew down inside I should've said NNOOO!!! We go back and forth on the shape (Ballerina/Coffin) she couldn't shape all my nails properly. I have these lego block looking nails now Im going to wear them. So when Im asked about them I can tell the story. THE OWNER/MANAGER DID MY NAILS (insert red x) STEER CLEAR. Came in to try this place out and it was decent! Hana helped do my nails and Lisa helped me with my pedicure. Everyone there including the owner was very nice and attentive which I appreciated. For my pedicure, Lisa was so helpful since I always have ingrown nails (mainly on my big toe) and she helped me get that out and made sure she didn't have any bail polish go into it. She did an amazing job with the deluxe pedicure as well as just the shape of my toes. For my nails, there was some miscommunication at first bc Hana thought I was just getting regular shellac but I wanted shellac overlay on a full set. She switched it up no problem and helped me shorten my nails like I wanted. I wanted sharp (like really sharp) almond so basically almond stiletto. It wasn't quite that shape but it was close and that's fine with me bc my nail was thinner and it's still easier to pick things up and type with. came here last minute for my birthday nails. I will say I came in about an hour before close so that may have been pressure on them but they did not do a very good job with my nails. They were uneven (ring fingers were too different thicknesses, lengths of pointer fingers were different, shaping was off). My friend and I made an appointment a day before, we came in for two pedicures and manicures. Both of us left very unhappy. Wish there were reviews before we came in. During our pedicure the woman that did my pedicure took out what looked like a cheese grader and took skin off of my toe. Then while we were getting our manicures, our nails were filed jagged and uneven, our skin was cut and to add insult to injury our nails were painted as if two year olds did them. Got a full set and pedi. They were a little rude at first with an attitude and were vigorously doing my nails and toes. Cut my toes twice and didn't really even apologize. The lady asked me what was wrong bc i was stressed i told her I got cut and she just kinda blew it off. Pros include comfy massage chairs, sleek decor, plenty of color choices and most important, sangria while you are being pampered. Regular pedi was thorough and included hot stone massage and great callus removal. Cons include rough treatment. I've been going to a more natural salon where I live outside DC so it's been a long time since these services hurt. So when they started pulling on my toe nail cuticles rather than pushing and trimming that was surprising. Also I thought you were supposed to soften nails with water or warm lotion before trimming but she cut my toenails dry. Also I don't prefer the electric sander approach as nails can get too thin, unhealthy and infected. To be clear I did not get an infection here I'm just talking about long term nail care and I don't think electric sanders are good long term even on toenails. Mani was also rough, she cut me and I started bleeding. She wasn't going to do anything about it, I had to ask her to clean with alcohol. I had crusty blood on my nail for the day in spite of washing my hands several times, so it continued to bleed. All in all if you're in for the acrylics and dips and all that, if you are okay with what are probably standard nail practices this place is probably good choice. They will need some more quality control because one careless person or rough, rushed job can result in more reviews like this. Now that I'm used to gentle natural treatment with great results I don't need to go to places like this. Wish I'd scheduled my time better to get this service done before I left home for my trip. read more

She rushes and in the past when I bring a friend she cuts them by rushing a fill with the drill. I get having a lot going on and being a busy business woman but it's about quality and your customers satisfaction. Not only was I rushed and had to correct her mistakes and ask her to fix multiple things but I was there for 3 hrs AND she charged my card twice and I had to wait even longer for it to be voided.
