Very unfortunate having spent $150+ total on both hands and feet, and because I was a little skeptical about the liquid gel extension alternative the offered since they don't do gel-x. Also because the nail broke on the day before I left for my weeklong vacation. It didn't break from some sort of excess pressure or trauma to my finger, I just looked down and the whole tip was gone. I can see now that the layer of gel overlay on that nail is quite thin which is probably why.

That being said, if you value your nail health and service quality, this is NOT the salon for you. These photos are AFTER a requested GelX soak off and manicure. Despite my request, my nails were filed until I was in literal pain. I repeatedly had to tell and show the nail tech that gel was still on my nails and a soak is not only requested but needed. Needless to say, I was repeatedly ignored. My left hand didn't receive cuticle service and the edges of my nails were left rugged. After declining polish service (at this point, I was over the entire experience and ready to go), I was told that I needed to pay before having my nails polished. I took this as code that they wanted their money regardless of me not being satisfied. I've given this place multiple chances solely based on convenience but this was my LAST time making that decision.

I asked them is they were able to do spiderman nails cause it was a complicated design and looking at designs they do, it seems they only knew how to do simple designs. They told me they could. So I trusted them. Once they started designing on a nail the color was too light than what was shown on the reference picture. So I asked if it's okay if they had time to change it to a different shade of red and blue. (cause It was getting dark and I wasn't sure when they would close.) They were okay with it and instead of removing it they just painted over it. Leaving layers and blobs of nail polish on my nail. They finished one design on one nail and it looked really messy I didn't like how it was coming out at all so I asked if they could just remove the nails before continuing cause I wasn't happy with the service. Honestly people like this is the reason why I hate going to nail salons cause they only want your money and don't care about what a customer wants or feels. The polish itself turned out fine, but my concerns are with the service and sanitation practices I observed. My pedicure started with cold water in the foot bath. When the tub wouldn't drain properly, the technician attempted to unclog it with a chopstick and accidentally tore the disposable liner in the process. I was then asked to put my feet back into the tub with the torn liner. I had to specifically ask to move to another chair with an intact liner. During the pedicure, the technician also used cuticle cutters to clip skin from the bottoms of my feet/toes, which I have never experienced during a pedicure and left areas of my skin visibly irritated afterward. I also became increasingly concerned about sanitation. The tools did not appear to be stored in disinfectant, and the "hot stones" were brought over loose in a visibly dirty plastic basket that had debris/residue in it. The stones themselves were barely lukewarm. By the end of the appointment, I was genuinely uncomfortable with what I had observed and regretted not leaving earlier. Again, the finished polish looks fine, and I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but sanitation is far more important to me than how good the polish looks. Luckily, they did provide a $25 partial refund, but thereafter asked that I do not return to the salon. Perfectly fine by me! I will NEVER be returning.
