The lady was quite rude to mom when mom accidentally dings the polish saying it wouldn't happen if she'd get gel so I had to finally step up saying that she's highly allergic to gel so what other options does she have as she has underlying medical conditions already so gel would cause her itch reactions to heighten. Not only that but the unfriendly worker was rough with her and when asked to shorten her crooked toe nail which she gets done regularly at a different salon (we'd continue going but her lady left the place so that's why we're here looking for a new "home"), she said she couldn't because it would cut her skin. Not if she does it right and know how to trim nails carefully as it's never been an issue before!) Not only that but we paid for the sassy spa pedi which is the basic so I'm sure they weren't thrilled we didn't upgrade but it was less than 10 mins from start to finish!! REALLY?!! My nail tech, Angela, was friendly and nice to talk to, but the entire appointment was spent listening to stories about her personal life, which felt very unprofessional. She was also very convincing when talking about how this salon takes extra time to make sure every client leaves happy with perfect nails. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. I ended up canceling my pedicure because my acrylic fill alone took almost THREE HOURS. Throughout the service, my fingers were constantly being pulled and twisted around, leaving them sore afterward. Even worse, she repeatedly filed into my skin, causing multiple cuts that actually bled. When I pointed it out, she said she was going to clean them with alcohol so they wouldn't be swollen or red the next day. The alcohol burned terribly on the open cuts. The finished nails look awful. My cuticles weren't even cleaned up, there is acrylic all around them, and the overall work honestly looks like it was done by a beginner. It certainly does not look professional. At checkout, I mentioned the cuts and bleeding and had to ASK for a discount. They only took $8 off the service and then asked if I was okay. I still left a tip because Angela was kind, but kindness doesn't make up for poor workmanship. I later called and spoke with the owner, hoping they would take responsibility. Instead, I was told to come back and they would take care of my next visit. Come back? After leaving with bleeding fingers and a terrible set of nails? Absolutely not. I don't have anything personal against Angela, but based on the quality of work I received, I genuinely do not believe nails are her profession. No customer deserves to be promised perfect work and then leave with cuts, pain, and nails that look unfinished. Save your money. Wait for a reputable nail salon. This place is not worth it.

When I walked in today, my roommate and I got offered water, which was exactly what we needed from being in the heat for so long. We also got sat down immediately, which is nice since we both came in for full sets. I luckily got seated by Tim, who is by far my absolute favorite when it comes to nails.
