That being said, if you value your nail health and service quality, this is NOT the salon for you. These photos are AFTER a requested GelX soak off and manicure. Despite my request, my nails were filed until I was in literal pain. I repeatedly had to tell and show the nail tech that gel was still on my nails and a soak is not only requested but needed. Needless to say, I was repeatedly ignored. My left hand didn't receive cuticle service and the edges of my nails were left rugged. After declining polish service (at this point, I was over the entire experience and ready to go), I was told that I needed to pay before having my nails polished. I took this as code that they wanted their money regardless of me not being satisfied. This is why you make an appointment and only go to your nail tech. I needed any earlier nail day and decided to take a chance...I regret it! After my nails getting sawed and burned off I got stuck with another lazy tech. I have not ever had one good experience here and I will not be going back. This is the last time giving hopefulness and optimism to this establishment. I actually tip very well anywhere I go and will pay for the extras. You'd think you'd keep clients like this...tbh this is why clients are moving towards Instagram oriented techs in the beauty industry because the regular salons are going DOWN HILL. If I could give zero stars I would. My wife went there for quite few times. She was very happy with service they provided before. The front desk employee was very friendly and helpful. Katie who did her nails was always super professional and did an amazing job. She is quite picky and Katie always was able to do what she wanted. I believe the ownership changed. Or extremely dramatic employees change. She went on Sunday the front desk person wasn't there. There was someone else not too friendly. She went for pedicure. The lady who did it was rough. English barrier wasn't a problem she was just plainly rude. She kept her feet in iced water. It didn't matter how many times my wife asked for hotter water she wasn't heard. Her toes look like a toddle painted them not a professional! After that she asked for wax. The person who did wax was absolutely obnoxious. On the top of her being mean and rude she ruined my wife's eyebrows. No apologies nothing. In my long quest to find a nail specialist in AZ , my journey, I believe, has come to an end. I was referred by someone who waxes me, to come see Laura. I learned today that Laura is newish to AZ as am I. My waxing person used to do nails, so I trusted her judgement. She goes to Laura! Now, I've always been a gel person. I don't like long nails and I have thin nails that honestly break before they ever get to any length. Recently, getting a gel manicure somewhere else, my nail bed, under the UV light were burning like fire. My little sister was raving about something called an overlay that she had been doing for some time now. So I called earlier this week to make an appointment and asked about this overlay thing. Whoever I talked to on the phone, suggested I try dip. She assured me I would like it. So ok- I decided, dip it was! I came a little early to pick a color. I was greeted by Asher ( sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) Asher checked me in and said I could sit in the waiting area. Asher saw that Laura was running a little behind and said she could take off my nail polish to help save time. Now, Asher is so sweet and fun to talk to. I'm pretty sure she had on the new trending green nail polish on her toes that Kendall Jenner recently had an article written about. Not that I follow the Kardashians or anything. My phones news feed, just always feeds me stories about them, ok?!!!! That's how I know. Anyhow, I had some terrible glitter nail polish on that I don't think Asher bargained for, lol. So it was a good thing she was proactive and helped to get it off. ( p.s thank you again :) ) Laura was so sweet and knew immediately who referred me. I knew Laura was tired. I was her last appt for the day, but she still did her very best. I showed her what colors I was thinking of going with, and she recommended, from her experience to not go with the lighter color. ( I highly respect recommendations like this! ) She explained the process, sweetly nudged me to "trust the process", tested the color on a nail for me so I could be sure I liked it, and at the end, I was amazed, at how in all my life I had never been told about dip nails!!!! The short and sweet - stay away! I was charged $70 for nails that look treacherous. My tech was sweet as could be and I hate to give a negative review but sadly her work did not line up. I asked for square/oval shape so the process begashe cut them down and filed them to shape, unfortunately each nail is a different shape. Then she moved onto the dip, everything seemed fine until polished them. We discussed the color because I hadn't decided and we settled on a white chrome finish - never once did she tell me there would be an added cost for chrome ($15 to be exact). Upon completion I pointed out some of the ridges and unevenness and she attempted to fix them but just couldn't I guess. Then comes time to pay when I'm informed of the $70 price point. Please understand that I've paid far more for nails before but I was very pleased with the outcome and the cost felt justified. That was not the case this time. I asked for a cost breakdown which is when I was informed of the $15 chrome charge. The gal at the desk was also very kind but that doesn't change the fact. Told her that it would be much better to educate the customer of any added costs to avoid sticker shock when we get up front. She offered to have them fixed "since I was paying so much". I was on a schedule and couldn't spend any more time in there so had to decline. Ultimately it was a disappointing experience and will not be returning. read more

My experience here probably has a lot to do with my race. I am African American and unfortunately I can sense when poor treatment is happening due to race because I am literally the politest person you would ever meet and I know I didn't deserve the treatment that I got. Very rude staff...my nail tech was making a lot of mistakes on my nails. I normally don't like to say anything to avoid awkwardness or confrontation but my nails were messed up in many ways and because she was charging me $120 for my nails alone I felt the need to politely point out what was wrong early on so I wouldn't have her rework anything and stress her. I asked for price and she started speaking in her native language to coworkers..took her a while but she finally quoted me $110 she then looked me up and down and increased it to$120. It sounded ridiculous for what I was getting done, but I can afford it so I didn't complain. She might've been having a bad day because she was so rude when I asked her to fix a mistake she made, she responded "if you don't want me to do your nails we can stop now, so what you wanna do? Because you don't trust me so what you wanna do ? " As she's removing her apron and tapping her feet super fast. She created a whole scene all because I asked her to fix something she did wrong. I think she didn't know how to do the marble I requested and took it to heart when I requested a fix early on. She begins with my nails again but now she's being super aggressive with my nails squeezing, pulling, etc I explained that I want my nails done well and I only wanted the mistake fixed, so she attempted to fix it however she wasn't doing well. I didn't say anything because i did t want to deal with any more rudeness. My nails were a mess. But I was over it and I just knew I wouldn't go back ever again. When I was going for checkout a guy who worked there was following me to the front line super close up to me. I found it strange but I shrugged it off. I handed the receptionist (a woman) my card to pay and the guy come close to me and says how much tip are you going to leave her? I ignored, he ask again louder, I was irritated because I always tip very well 15% or more but that day I was not in the mood to pay for rude and terrible service plus my nails looked a mess. I grabbed 2 bucks from my bag to get him off of my neck literally. He proceeds to tell me "she said if you don't tip her a lot then you shouldn't come back she won't do your nails" he caused a whole scene about the tip even though he was there to see how rude she was, and I was like it's ok sir I won't be coming here ever again. I wasn't about to stoop to his level and be yelling or arguing so I left. Save your money and go somewhere where they would treat you well. Good riddance to trash service. read more

I walked in and was greeted by a sweet receptionist who gave me the exact price of an acrylic pedicure before I was seated. I was taken to a chair the water was perfect temp. A young kid started my pedi. No interaction. His touch was timid so my $45 pedi was pointless, heels were lightly buffed similar to how you'd buff the nail. His massage was the same, light to the touch. By the number of times people came over to check on what he was doing, im confident he hasn't been doing this long. When it came to the acrylic, he was preparing to put tips when I asked him not to and he immediately obliged. He applied the acrylic, elongating my toe nails, which I asked not to do. Im not a fan of talons. He did check in and ask what I thought. I asked him to file them down, he did slightly, but my nails are still long. I decided to accept my fate and not say another word because I was already frustrated thinking I forgot my credit card and having to sit there and wait for it to be delivered. I hate my toes! They're thick, long and scratchy. I also feel if someone is learning, perhaps not make it that obvious or advise a person of this information. Because it was clear. I was highly disappointed with my service. I went in for just a full set of nails nothing special. I had called previous to coming in and told price was $50 to start. I was fine with that since I was not getting anything special. When the tech asked me how long I said not long because my nails grow quickly. When I was checking out I was told I would have to pay $60 because I got long nails! Why would the tech give me what is considered long when I had already said I didn't want them long!
