Worst place I have ever ordered from. ordered a meal to be delivered. I waited for almost an hour and I received no call or message to say it had been delivered. I finally went online to check and it said it had been delivered. I searched everywhere for the food spent my whole lunch break looking for this "supposed" deliver. when I called back I was told they can't get a hold of the driver and will refund my money in 7-10 business days. No option for redelivery or anything!!!! Avoid this unprofessional place as much as you can. This restaurant reminds me of chipotle, however it had a very YUMMY twist to it. First, I was welcomed by a sweet worker (Alyse). This individual was very helpful for a person who had never been here. I will definitely recommend this place to others. read more

Don't recommend ordering delivery on the app from here. We placed an order directly on their app and it never showed - driver said we somehow placed an order at a location that doesn't exist. This was after 4 drivers cancelled on us and speaking to support multiple times saying the order was its way. read more

This Cava is a nice addition to H street. It is standard Cava, good, fast, yummy food. I wish they would put more lettuce in the bowls when you get lettuce as a base. It's really impossible to turn your dish into more of a "salad" because they skimp on the lettuce. Also, I wish they would get some hot salsas to add. read more

Happy that Cava made it to H St. well, I was surprised considering there is another Cava a few blocks away in Union Station. This location is in an nice central location in H St. it's at the corner of 5th and H and has double exposure windows and it always looks bright and inviting. This Cava is consistent with all the other Cava, and the servers here are pleasant. I love the generous portions and the variety of veggies as always. My go to quick meal. read more

I'm generally a fan of CAVA and was very excited when this location opened up on H Street. Unfortunately, this H Street CAVA just can't seem to get it right. Whether ordering through the CAVA app for pick up and then finding out the entire salad base was wrong for both salads upon getting home; or ordering a "salad" that skimped on the greens so they were barely there - something just seems off with the performance at this location. CAVA normally delivers good value for the money, but this location seems to provide smaller portions as a default. Thus far, not terribly impressed with this H Street location. read more

This is always a great healthy fast food option! The Chicken & RightRice is my favorite go to meal and saves me time instead of building my own. However, the build your own option is amazing for those who want to be creative. All in all, a great option for healthy fast food! They are also on UberEats for delivery which is great. read more

What I appreciate is the ability to have the ability to build up a bowl in a fast casual setting that has plenty of options and sauces. I probably go here once every couple of months. Visiting DC and came across this place. I had no expectations and was surprised to find the Mediterranean variant of customized salads and sandwiches. The selection of ingredients, toppings and sauces are very good. The salads are large and filling and a better deal than the pitas. I would say the falafel are not the best and you should stick with one of the meats. I wish we had these in Seattle as I would visit often. A great choice for a quick lunch. read more

Plenty of delicious flavors, spicy, and fresh! If we had one close I would be a regular for sure! Today I walked into CAVA for the first time... not because I was hungry, but because my car had been towed (this had never happened to me) and I just happened to go in to ask a question. I honestly did not know what to expect as I had just gotten of the phone with someone from Public Works who should not be employed in any customer service capacity... I expected the same. But what I got was a complete 180 degree experience... The two employees I connected with were some of the most helpful people that I have had the pleasure of speaking with... They were empathetic, polite, professional and everything else you would want from an employee. They were simple a breath of fresh air. Although they weren't able to help, they gave me advise that they did not have to. To be honest I had not planned on ordering food as I was running behind on a scheduled appointment, however the food smelled so very good and I ordered as a means on thanking them. They took their time with me explaining the many options and as I was taking out my credit card the manager said "You had a pretty tough day and I want to let you know that someone cares... this is on me." My cup runneth over. That bad experience changed from the moment I stepped foot in the door and that was just the service. So I started off saying that I had never eaten there before and I am a foodie and truly enjoy "good" food... CAVA did not let me down. The layers of flavor truly put a smile on my face. You all... this is a must go to for so many reasons. Ladies and Gentlemen... if you are looking for quality service and food then visit CAVA at the corner of H Street, NE and 6th Street. So happy they opened a location on H Street! Their bowls are perfect for lunch or a quick dinner you don't want to have to put effort into. The worst thing you can do is over crowd your bowl but it's hard not to with all the selections. Definitely get the crazy feta every time though. And don't be afraid to experiment with the spicy harissa. Some people have complained it can be a little pricey, but for the quantity, you're definitely making out in terms of price per portion. Something is off about this location. I'm a regular cava customer and was extremely excited to have one open within walking distance, however this one is severely lacking. Every time we've ordered from here they've only filled the bowl halfway like seen in above pictures of other reviewers. We've had several instances of red/pink centers in our meatballs. Ive noticed some of the dips looked like they had been sitting out and were dry and brown on top and this was just after they opened in the morning. They've also forgotten things in our order when we ordered online. Pretty disappointed, but hoping they can figure this all out. read more

The food is good of course. But as far as the portions... I had to ask several times to "add more rice" and the server seemed to get irritated stating their only supposed to give 2 scoops. I'm like, at the other Cava locations I'm used to receiving a lot more food than you're providing. That was my only issue with this location.
