I kept hearing about this place called Cava, but no one could tell me what is was. I did later find out that it was Mediterranean food so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Quite a few people that I have spoke to that went there had a hard time describing what type of restaurant it is. Now that I have gone there I can say if you have been to Chipotle you have been to Cava. Think of it as a Mediterranean Chipotle. My daughter and I went here and she basically ordered on line so it would be ready when we got there. She says if you don't preorder you have to wait for a long time to get service. Maybe she was right, when we got there we only had to wait a minute or so and the food was ready. We did sit down to eat but the drink selection was less desirable for me. I would have liked regular coke, fanta, lemonade or anything like that. When I was at the drink station I did not see those choices. To me if felt like the choices were leaning more towards "healthy" choice so maybe that was why I didn't enjoy them. The drinks were a little weird to me and not sweet enough. I tried them all just to see what they tasted like and I have to say they really were not enjoyable. None of them. I think I ended up just getting the root beer but it wasn't your regular root beer. Since I don't know what I ordered (since my daughter ordered) The food was enjoyable. The pitas were good too, I would have liked more of them but I think they were complimentary so you get what you get. She ordered some bowls and they were nice sized portions. The restaurant itself was clean. There weren't many people inside but all the tables were clean and it was quite inside as well. I did not have any issues on this visit so my interaction with staff was almost none. I may go here again just to try some other items on the menu but if Ido I have to make sure to bring my own drink or at least ask for a water because again the drink selection was not a good one for me.

Build your own grains bowl, as you can see no hummus to be found nor crazy feta.

Final straw with this location. I ordered a pick up order and what do you know? Half of my ingredients that are supposed to be in my bowl are not there. They left out the Harissa Hummus, Red pepper hummus and crazy feta. Not to mention the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. I tried calling the store three times and no response. I don't know what difference it would make anyways since the manager doesn't care . This is the second time I've tried to contact Corporate and get just a generic email with a partial refund. Ridiculous.

    Harissa Avocado

Visited Cava last night after 9pm. It was a nice size crowd. I ordered the harissa avocado bowl and the cucumber mint& blueberry lavender drink. The food was fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly. The restroom was a little messy, but I just went to wash my hands. Otherwise, the restaurant was clean.

    Hair in bowl.

There was a hair in my wife's grain bowl. Disgusting. I do not like leaving negative reviews because I am a true foodie and love to see the good in every restaurant I go to, but they messed it up for my family.

Think of this place in terms of a Mediterranean "chipotle/moes" type place CAVA apparently originates from Zoe's Kitchen so most of their locations have been replaced with a CAVA. I was never a fan of Zoe's but I am a fan now of CAVA since I gave in to all the tiktok hype. This place can be intimidating when you're new and UberEats doesn't list all the rice or salad types so it was difficult to know how to order. So you can choose a bowl that they will make according to their recipes or you can build your own. I chose to make my own! You start with: - Base: saffron rice, healthier rice alt., argula, romaine, grains; you can get 1/2 and 1/2 here - limit of 3 scoops of the pastes, these scoops are tiny - protein - you can get 1/2 and 1/2 here - unlimited toppings - limit of 2 sauces/dressings - you can get a free pita with a bowl but they did not inform me so I will get it next time (bowl premade and byo $10.95) - soda machine with their own sodas such as Mexican soda, blueberry soda, etc., lemonades, teas ($2.25) So! I personally got basmati saffron rice/arugula, harissa paste, baba ghanouj (eggplant), crazy feta, grilled lemon chicken, tried some of the vegetables, all the toppings, garlic sauce, tahini herb dressing + cup for a drink. The bowl was good I liked the smokiness from the eggplant and the sauces were delicious. CAVA is really good but in comparison with homemade or mom and pop places for this type of bowl I'd prefer the latter. The soda machine, lemonades, and teas were delicious I loved mixing sweet tea with mint lemonade, very different! Will I be back? Definitely when I can't cook at home

I have been down to the store inside for pickup at least twice while in the area and delivered countless other times. The staff were super nice the times I did go down. The layout inside was pretty chill when I went in and looked like a good place to sit down and eat if you wanted to. It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking in front usually. Having been born and raised in Hawaii, nothing is gonna compare to certain favorite spots from home when it comes to quality, flavor, and authenticity just due to having certain ingredients available right there as well (especially fresh local fish/seafood and produce). That being said, I have actually really enjoyed the plates for the most part from here. No offense to Waikikie in DeKalb, but this place definitely is a step up. Yes, I've been to the L&L in Cobb which was great also (have not been to the Mulberry/Dacula one yet). I was raised on L&L, so I expected them to be good, but as a standalone restaurant (to my knowledge) this is a satisfying establishment. When I first got to ATL there were not a lot of places offering regional dishes from Hawaii. I had to learn how to make all my favorites pretty quickly, aside from the dishes I already knew how to make. Hawaiian Kitchen in Duluth was pretty great, but I was sad that they had to rebrand after the pandemic. I was happy when this place popped up within the past couple years. They do a pretty good job! The portions are in line with what I grew up on. The mac salad is actually one of the better ones I've had - reminds me of some places on Maui and Oahu. It's just the right amount of creaminess and it's smooth. There's a hint of acidity and sweetness typical to plate lunch mac salad I grew up on and I think they add in just a little but of tuna for umami flavor but not too much to overpower it. I like it too because unlike some places there are no harshly grated carrots crunching in the mac salad when you eat it. The BBQ beef is probably my favorite dish here. It's always tender and flavorful. I prefer their house salad over the steamed cabbage and broccoli that is served here. Honestly for a bed underneath the meat I would love to see some shredded cabbage like they do in Asian restaurants back home, but that's just what I prefer and am used to. The katsu is good here but it's been hit or miss sometimes as to whether the katsu sauce gets packed which always makes me a little sad, because it's then missing some flavor. I know it's not hard to whip up katsu sauce but it's also nice to get what you order in entirety. I would like to see maybe tartar sauce and fresh lemon slices added to the fish plates also. It's traditional back home and just adds some extra flavor of course. Overall, I like their combos. I've had the kalua pig with and without cabbage, BBQ chicken, musubis, and other items. I would like to try more items but I usually stick to the beef and mac salad or kalua pig. Yes, I know it's probably not coming out of an imu, but honestly it's just a great place to grab a filling lunch or dinner. When you're so far from home, sometimes it's nice to just grab a familiar favorite on the nights you can't or don't feel like cooking. I will definitely continue to support this business in 2026 and I hope they stay around for a long while!

We both ordered the Margarita flight. I got mine with sugar and friend got hers with tajin. My complaint here is that they were decent. They had ice but we're warm. It's like they were already made so added to glass with few cubes of ice. The mango and strawberry tasted like the lime original with added fruit flavor. House tequila is los Cabos. My husband had the watermelon margarita ($13) and loved it. For our meal we had the new birria tacos ($17 for 2) and steak tacos ($18 for 2). Both came w/ rice and beans. My husband substituted them out for fries and added a side of black beans ($2.75). The food was good but not served very hot. The only thing we didn't care for was the consommé that came with the birria tacos. We'll definitely be back and try more options on the menu.

From the makers who brought you Marietta Diner comes Yeero Village…read more It's a different style of restaurant compared to that of their predecessors that have become Atlanta staples (Cobb County). The ordering style is that of a fast food joint The service is that of your typical restaurant where they bring the food out to you. So the restaurant itself is very hybrid in terms of how they go about their business. This place is well lit, spacious, and homely yet corporate enough to pass as a franchise type joint. Seats roughly 90 people or so between 4 top tables and booths. It's clean, quaint, and with the traditional Greek soundtrack playing the background, they want you to sort of feel like you're looking at the Aegean Sea while a lyre is playing in the background... but really you're looking at Publix so they can only do so much. Let's go with the food... It's Yeero Village. So I had to try the traditional Greek style Gyro. There is something to be said for the attempt at authentic and it seems like they do it right here. The meat isn't the beef/lamb conglomerate we are all used to when we think "gyro". Here, for it to be authentically Greek, the meat is pork based, not beef based which is typical of the Americanized gyro, which is an interesting take. But rest assured, the gyro was flavorful!!! They married the flavors of the meat which was tender as all get out, the tzatziki sauce, and tomatoes all were balanced and intermingled well. And the pita was fluffy The salad was a bit disappointing. The romaine was shredded and you can't really get a good forkful. The dressing was tart. Too many tomatoes. And just three Kalamata olives??? Come on!!! I did opt for the Greek style potatoes which, I'm glad I did because they were cooked in a way that the flavors seemed to be infused into the potatoes which I was a big fan of! I also had to grab their rice pilaf. The rice was pillowy yet had an al dente texture to it that made each forkful all that more enjoyable! All in all, the folks who brought us Marietta Diner definitely had an idea and developed this place nicely! At $14.95 for a gyro combo with a side of your choice plus the aforementioned salad with tax and your choice for a tip, it's a good $16-$17 meal which is comparable to that of fast food or Panera just a few blocks down! Definitely recommend.
