Not at all worth the money! I got extremely small portions. Not even half a bowl of food. And most of what they put in my bowl is just sauce. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. Honestly if you have a choice just go to the Buford location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cava is a franchise that will give you the same food and ambiance in each location however from my experience this location is piss poor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I see how the other locations manage the line and this one is by far the worst. I see people on the line chewing food and working on to go orders in between taking customers. I noticed that there's already someone taking to go orders but I would think that's why it took almost 20 minutes for me to even place my order. It's official!!! I will be buying ingredients and making my bowls at home. People do not care what they serve you! I went in to grab a quick bit to eat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean, the servers had on head covers and were sooooo polite[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and I did not fault them at all for not knowing that the black lentils were hard or undercooked. The manger tasted them and told them to remake my bowl, but I had noooooo clue that they would make it with the exact same hard lentil I had just complained about. Yes, I made it all the way back home and started crunching down on hard lentils again on the remake bowl. I love Cava but I refuse to give them another opportunity to get it wrong. The service here is beyond good. They are all friendly and don't skimp on anything, unlike their tex Mex neighbor wink wink. Ali runs a tight ship and even if the line is long they are efficient. Food is always delicious and 99% of the time it's going to be freshly made because they turnover so much food at this location. read more

Everytime i come here i spend a minimum of 25 min just to order, even if the line is short. They run out of ingredients about two hrs before close and refuse to make more, even with all the people still coming in to order. Constantly understaffed and wildly inefficient with the way they handle mobile orders. The staff are so slow that i left my wife in line to order chipotle instead and when i came back about 15 min later she was still in the exact same spot i left her. I sat for a total of 15 min afterwards waiting for her to finish her order. A total of 30 min just for a bowl. Chipotle only had one person working the entire line and Cava had two. read more

In need of a quick bite for lunch during the workday, wanted something healthy and light . They offer a variety of Mediterranean and mixed green salad bowls and wraps. I opted for the Greek bowl but didn't want a protein although they offer vegan protein options, there was no allowance for no meat without a price adjustment so decided to get it on the side. This location was very clean and parking is crowded due to being shared with multiple restaurants in the same plaza. There is adequate spacing and lots of seating and a small patio. I had tried another location about 2 years ago and was not too impressed so this was a lot better and service was ok. The young lady who was at the start of the line was less than pleasant when I asked about getting a new container of tatziki sauce because there was less than a serving in the container and she wqs rude to dump extra scoop making the side of the salad soggy so ok. I ate around it and enjoyed it nevertheless. The other 2 male employees were super nice and helpful that I encountered. read more

They always having something missing! I thought the whole idea of their "Chef-curated" bowls are to give us the best taste. They always say that I have to wait 15 mins for the ingredients to complete the bowl. I really like the chain n want to visit more but this location, they always have something missing! Generally I love CAVA! It's my favorite restaurant Yesterday I ordered my usual bowl with pita chips. Only difference is this time I added lentils to the bowl. When I dived in to take a big bite, my taste buds were obstructed with little balls of UNCOOKED lentils that felt like little rocks. It ruined my entire bowl experience. To resolve, I was able to return it with no hassle and had them remake without lentils. I just hope the kitchen manager reads this to help monitor all aspects of the products sold to guests in the future!! That was a first and only "not good" experience at any CAVA location. read more

Man, this is tough for me to write but important to be objective and provide constructive feedback so I really hope the Cava owners and management reads these reviews because there's nothing more that brings me joy to see a business thrive and bring their best version every day. So, I'm a big fan of Cava. Love the concept and food. I was disappointed with this location during my visit a little while back. It wasn't anywhere close to closing time and the place looked like it was hit with a hurricane behind the counter and the food selection station. They didn't replenish the ones that were empty or running low. Also, Despite the price the portions were not big and not super fresh. Also, some of the drinks in the containers at the drink station was not refilled too. Had I known that I would've opted out of ordering a drink. It's also on the side of the restaurant and not hear the ordering area so you can't see what drinks were filled in the containers. Hopefully it was just an off day and they worked out any issues as I would love to come back to this location. If not, I may have to drive further out to the other Cava locations. read more

Walked in before they opened up (unbeknownst to me) after my morning work out. Initially, the not-so-much-morning-person behind the counter looked over her shoulder and dryly notified me that they aren't open yet. I apologized and started to walk out, saying I'll be back later (you know dang well I wasn't gonna come back once I leave) when suddenly the BIG BOSS DUDE with a friendly face and an inviting attitude came out from the back. He took my order with a smile and heaped on the generous servings of everything I wanted while exchanging pleasantries and sent me happily on my way with my STACKED steak harissa bowl. I absolutely love going to this CAVA! Every time I've gone there's never been too much of a line and it's super clean. Service is quick and whenever they're out of something they make sure to refill it asap. The workers here are super kind and you'll always find them with a smile on their face. You honestly can't go wrong with any of their dips or sauces but my favorite combo has to be the skhug and garlic sauce. I'm not the biggest fan of the spicy falafel so I just stick to the regular. I typically get all of the toppings except the kalamata olives even though I like them I just feel like they're too overpowering with the bowl. They don't hold back on portions here and more often than not I'm going home with leftovers (my favorite thing to do haha). Pros: The food at Cava is always good. I'm a big fan of their chicken&rice pita with chips. Fair warning, the chips are addictive. Cons: I've been to three or four of the north Atlanta locations and they all seem understaffed. This location is no exception. If you arrive near a traditional meal time, be prepared to wait in line for a bit. We use to go to Zoe's here at this location but it's Canva now. First the staff was amazing. Friendly and helped understand the options. I loved almost everything and especially the pita chips.. so so good. The only thing I didn't really like was the Falafel. It's not the best and is nothing like Zoe's kitchen and I miss those ones. Sorry but I just had to get on here and warn folks. It's not the same quality it was a few months ago. Different management and staff and boy does it show. I wish I would have waited and placed my order in person. Wheni arrived and asked about my order they couldn't find it. Manager asked me to wait a few minutes while the kitchen proceeded to make it. No one alerted me to it being ready I had to check in multiple times. Due to the long wait I had to rush back to work. When I opened the containers, the portions were criminally small like over half of the bowl was empty. And I ordered extra toppings. Over $30 for two skimpy bowls. Never again! read more

Cava is owned by Zoe's Kitchen guys. And they're bringing some good, Mediterranean, fast-casual food. They offer many salad bowls and pita wraps. The salad bowls are your typical bowls that you can load junk in: proteins, grains, vegetation, dips, sauces, and much more. It's pretty good. Cava has some issues. The food is good, don't get me wrong. But this is the second Cava location I've been to, and they all seem to have the same issues. The popular items are always out. Some of the popular items are the falafels and the Garlic Dressing. Granted, the falafels are getting pumped out as fast as they can. But you might be waiting until they fry up. The staff seems melancholy in every location I've been to. I'm not sure what the deal is. They're also slow. You have a ton of options so I can understand why it might be slow. But poke places, Chipotles, Willy's and other fast-casual places that share the same model seem to do okay. The place is clean and sterile. And the staff never seems friendly. There's always this gloomy atmosphere with the staff in every Cava I've been to. They also seemed under-trained (hence the slowness?). I'm beginning to wonder if they have a toxic working atmosphere making them so gloomy. Maybe it's just the Cava's I've been to. The food, like I mentioned earlier, is good. Their Falafels are pretty ordinary. But they're addictive. They aren't as fragrant and flavor-exploding as other, Mediterranean places, but man they're good. It's just mashed up chickpeas, deep-fried. I don't know how they do it. I'll give this place 3.5 stars. I'll round up because of the food. read more

Ordered dinner for the family for pickup. It was $55 for two bowls, a pita, and a kid's pita meal. Every one got to have their own delicious beverage as well. Everything was perfectly fresh and flavored, meat was juicy and tender, falafels were amazing, sauces were great! The best thing we got was the spicy lamb meatballs, tzatziki sauce, hummus, and rice.
