    Steak + Harissa

Never heard of this place until I visited my cousin in Denver last weekend. I completely enjoyed my food. It was a tough choosing since I did not want to eat really heavy because I was running a 10k on Sunday morning. The choices are plentiful, the service was fast and I went in around lunch time, so not super crowded. The place was clean, and the customer service was great.

CAVA is serving up some delicious & healthy Mediterranean dishes! We arrived on a Saturday night at around 7:45PM. Even tho the restaurant is open until 10PM most of the chairs were stacked on the tables, leaving know where to sit. Note, the Drive-thru is only for "Digital Pick-up" & it is clearly marked on the outside of the building. There is ample parking at this location. Service is buffet style, customers start at one end & pay at the other, the employees handle the food. The buffet was a little messy, especially the meat area. Everything is customizable - we ordered two Bowls & stayed with the ingredients in the description. The employee that assisted us was friendly & I appreciated that she wore gloves in preparing our Bowls. The Steak & Harissa Bowl was awesome, the steak was flavorful, it came with a tasty red pepper hummus, tomatoes, onions, feta cheese, slaw, greens & brown rice. It was topped with a Harissa Vinaigrette, that packed a spicy punch. (Harissa is a hot pepper blend with spices & oil.) The Harissa Avocado Bowl was just as delicious - juicy chicken, feta cheese, roasted corn, rice, greens, avocado & a Harissa Vinaigrette. Our Bowls were big, with lots of fresh yummy ingredients!

It doesn't matter what CAVA you go to the food is always consistently good. The food tastes the same if you're eating in DC or Denver. The Tower location is one of the smaller locations , so if you go during the busy hours you might need to wait for a table if the weather isn't nice enough to eat on their patio.

3 bowls no pida with all the great stuff there!

Amazing. Just amazing. The food is amazing so fresh and clean!!!! The place is welcoming, fun, and modern. Really a ten out of ten. The people are amazing super kind. Just fun and Awsome people. There's not one downside. There's so much great stuff to say about this place!

A fantastic healthy option on Tower Road! Delicious fresh ingredients, really friendly staff, super clean- we are so happy to see this CAVA location open right by the airport! The falafel bowl was delicious and had a nice zip to it thanks to the skhug sauce (blended coriander, hot peppers, and garlic). Also had the spicy lamb + avocado bowl which was delicious! Overall price is comparable to Chipotle and you can walk away with a decent amount of leftovers since the portion sizes are good! Will be back.

I was hoping for indoor seating and Just really didn't enjoy the food. Basically overpriced salads.

Good fresh food with easy pick up but they didn't give me my pita. Didn't realize until I got home. I guess I will have to check my bag before I pull away at the drive thru next time.

Pineapple Apple Mint, which was an udder disappointment as it tasted like watered down nothing. No distinctive fruit flavors.

The food is so good. Love the options. Kind of like a Mediterranean chipotle. It was fresh and healthy and so many choices.

Many more had shown up here before we left, however. As it was happy hour, we tried three different appetizers: falafel with hummus, dolmas, and harissa carrots. All were delicious and ended up being rather filling. My wife and I both had the lamb gyros, while my daughter had the chicken shawarma. While the dishes didn't appear to be a huge amount of food, they ended up being plenty. Everything had really nice flavor. As it was my wife's birthday, she got the free baklava for dessert. My daughter and I both thought it was fantastic...maybe one of the better baklavas we've had in a long time. My wife thought it was fine but has had other versions she'd liked better. Service was quick and strong from the start. All food came out surprisingly fast. We'd come here again if on/near Tennyson Street and in the mood for a good Mediterranean experience.

This place is DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL. I got the gyro plate and my friend got a falafel sandwich,…read moreand together we paid about $38 + tip for our meals. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the price differential between these two items is about $5 and instead of itemizing our receipts, our waiter just split it in two, overcharging my friend and undercharging me. It seemed very incongruent to the rest of our otherwise excellent experience here.

Well that was amazingly delicious! My wife and I loved the food here. We're both big fans of middle…read moreeastern/mediterranean food and this was some of the best in Denver hands down. The flavor on everything is elevated and fresh!! We had hummus w/pita, falafel, and fries to start. Amazing falafel! Perfectly crispy outside and pillowy inside. For entrees, I had the lamb gyro which was one of the best I've had. The lamb is perfection and they wrap it in a roti instead of pita which was absolutely the move! The house-made pickled veggies served with it were amazing as well and really balanced the nice waiting of the lamb gyro. My wife got the Caesar salad with chicken Shawarma. That was Incredible as well! Try a side of the Harrissa in the zhug sauces to add a little fresh heat! The restaurant has great ambience with some Moroccan type vibes and a great patio. There is a 20% service charge automatically added to every check which is what it is. But for this level of flavor, it's worth it plus tip!

This place started as a 5 star experience and slowly worked its way down to 3…read more The hummus, fresh pita, shishito peppers, cocktails, and front of house service were all excellent. The bartenders and waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and professional. If I were rating only those things, this would be an easy 5 stars. Then the yellow rice arrived cold and crusty. We sent it back. It came back slightly improved but still not properly hot. After a few bites, we found a piece of plastic in it. The half chicken was a mixed bag. The crispy skin was delicious and well seasoned, but the chicken itself was served only lukewarm. Some pieces were moist and enjoyable, while others, especially toward the end, were noticeably dry. It wasn't bad, but had I known it would be served that way, I probably would have ordered something else. The kitchen issues alone would have dropped this to 4 stars. What pushed it down to 3 stars was the billing. A 20% service charge had already been added, yet the payment process still encouraged an additional tip. If you're not paying close attention, it's very easy to leave 40% on an already expensive meal. Whether intentional or not, it feels confusing and misleading. Even if it's disclosed somewhere on the menu, that doesn't make it customer friendly. Customers should not have to do math or hunt through fine print like a budget airlines to figure out what their meal actually costs. Build your labor costs into the menu price and be transparent. Surprise fees create frustration and leave customers feeling misled, regardless of how many disclaimers are printed. To their credit, they removed a couple of drinks from the bill, and I want to be clear that the staff handled the situation professionally. The problem was not the servers. The problem was a kitchen that missed the mark and a shady billing practice that leaves customers with a bad taste in their mouth at the end of the meal. Great hummus. Great pita. Great cocktails. Great service. Cold rice. Plastic in the food. A chicken dish that didn't quite live up to the hype. Confusing service fees. That's how a restaurant that could have been 5 stars ends up with 3.
