I've ordered pickup here twice. Both times, it took 30 minutes longer their estimated pickup time to complete the order. The staff was nice enough, but they offered no apology for the delay. Instead, I was given two free (and unwanted) drinks. A verbal apology without a freebie would have been much more appreciated than some free stuff that I don't want. It would have helped if the food was good, but it wasn't. The first time, the food was ok...not great, but it was at least edible. This time, it was inedible. I ordered a greens and grains bowl, and I requested "light" dressing. Instead, it was drenched in dressing. I would guess at least half a cup of dressing. I ate a few bites but threw the rest out... waaay too much dressing, and no practical way to avoid it or "wash" it off, since it was basically tossed in the dressing (and how would you "wash" it off salad greens and lentils anyway)? This is a material downgrade from Zoe's, and it's not that Zoe's was all that good...but it was way better than Cava! Will not return. read more

There's always a huge backlog of online orders and angry people waiting to pick up their online orders. This was my first visit to any Cava - the experience and food was amazing! The ladies behind the counter were super kind and even put some of the dips/sauces on the side for the me to try. If I am ever within driving distance of this location - I will definitely visit again. The food was great - but the service && the kindness factor of their employees here was unmatched. Thank you for being so amazing. Sometimes I just visit Chick-Fil-A -- not for the food but because I need a Chick-Fil-A kindness experience. These ladies are that at CAVA! Where do I start? I just feel this particular franchise is subpar compared to others I've visited. The attitudes are just as awful as the burnt Pita chips. It's not worth the money. I've recently relocated from DC and let's just say they knew what they were doing up there. I don't want a rice bowl with a side of attitude. And one idiot went as far to reach over the "non burnt" pita chips just to give me burnt ones. Not sure what the problem is. I know these are hard times but why mistreat customers when they're being pleasant and most importantly not mistreating you. I don't understand. Terrible customer service, I mobile ordered at 12:40 and it said it would be done by 1:00. I entered the building at 12:55 and waited until about 1:05 to get up and ask the workers for my food. It was the bag that had been sitting right behind the cashiers and they "couldn't find the time to bring it to the mobile order counter" while they had four people working. They messed up my order and when I went to ask for them to fix it they argued that what I had was right until I had to explain detail by detail what I ordered and how much it costs since they can't seem to remember what is what. I asked for extra onions on my bowl and the manager comes over and tells me no. She said they are really strict on the not giving extra free toppings. I asked her is Brian still the district manager and she said yes and that is who that is was coming from. I spoke to Brian a couple months ago about this and he was not helpful nor apologetic. The toppings are supposed to be free and unlimited per their company policy. I told her I used to go to Cava in DC and NYC for years and they never acted like this over the free toppings. Cava has changed for the worst and it's a shame. I keep saying I'm going to stop buying their food. I used to go every day now it's down to a couple times a month. The numbers don't add up this Brian guy digging his heels into the ground on the extra toppings when you look at how less I buy their food now. CAVA is a fast-casual Mediterranean-style eatery that functions like a Moe's or Willie's. They do not accept paper currency, so bring you cards or touchless payment method. I was a bit overwhelmed by the choices, but the helpful staff guided me to a few of their more popular pita wrap options. I went with the Spicy Lamb pita. It tastes great, but it is a little pricy. They serve a independent soda company's product and clearly identify caffeine and sugar contents. The options are unique, but I really enjoyed them. The draw back is the price. I'm used to hole-in-the-wall Greek joints, where you get a ton of food for the price. My meal (the Pita and fountain) was $17. That is a bit crazy to me, but I think it is the norm for this part of town. Otherwise I'd freely recommend this place for good and healthy food. I'll likely return. I'll note in my experience the staff was extremely friendly. I noticed a few people had a negative experience, so I feel compelled to expressly say that was not my experience. read more

This Cava is consistently having issues. They never have all of the protein options ready. I had a pick up order and the chicken wasn't ready until about 30 minutes after waiting. I was already almost 10 minutes late to picking it up because it's NEVER ready on time. By the time the chicken was done there was no roasted veggies which I paid extra for they told me it would be another 15 minutes. It's frustrating when you're paying $15 for a fast meal and it's not what you're getting/paying for. They NEVER include the extra pita and you have to ask for it every single time. read more

First of all this place is very great when it comes onto food. The company itself is great with food, but I think they need to go ahead and revise the training on customer service with some of these employees and managers because today I was waiting almost 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me and say hey welcome in and I will be with you in just a second. Never again, and I really want my money back. I went to the briarcliff location today. Based on a friend's recommendation. No line. But I had to go to bathroom. No tissue on role. The tissue and paper tower was on the changing table. It scares me that I might have just put germs in my vulnerable spot but I was desperate. Once back in line there someone ahead of me. I started looking at the menu...based on what I heard about this place..there is really nothing exciting on the menu. The server K said can I help you. I politely said this is my 1st time so I am not sure what I Want of how this goes. I saw the Greek salad and said would the price still be the same if I didn't get chicken. I am pescatarian. She said you could get falafel or roasted veggies..so I move down the line to take a peak. Then I said falafel and she made it. Well at this point I have to excuse myself over the lady who was there before me. I said is that my food you just finish making. I wanted to add corn or something else to it and she proceeded to tell me no change can be made to certain menu items. And this was one of them. I stared at her for 5 mins, contemplating walking out. I paid for my food and walk out..still puzzled af about what u just order. 1st off it's dry as hell...I didn't taste dressing. I think it was humaS on there. Outside I am still debating asking for a manager, when the other customer walked out. I asked her was I rude or the cashier rude as fuck. She said no she was rude to you. She said it's this location in particular..she said try another location. She recommendation the one further up north Decatur rd. Which I see people stating the same thing about this location. The food is no where near the quality of a Zoes, Chipotle or even Moes or Willie's. The audacity for this company to be advertising higher quality food but the server attitude is one of a fast food worker. Never again...one and done. I will definitely spread the word. They asked me which order I was waiting for, and kindly offered me a free drink while I waited. YUMMY pineapple mint tea with crushed ice....mmm that alone will probably make me come back! Had a terrible experience with Cava. We ordered 2 chicken kabob bowls and a wrap for delivery. Only the two bowls arrived, with a note saying "Sorry! Please contact DoorDash for a refund." No explanation for why a third of our order was missing, no call from the restaurant to tell us that they couldn't fill our order, and no refund. Also, the chicken kabob bowl that I ordered was missing the hummus that I had added to it, and the chicken in both bowls was inedible -- chewy, undercooked, and filled with cartilage. Just a very unpleasant experience all around. We'll never go back. read more

This location has let me down for the fourth time. I don't normally go back after the second time but this is the closest location to me. In the past the chicken was never cooked all the way. Knowing this I didn't get chicken this time I got falafel and the rice was hard and not cooked at all. I did a pick up order and they only put one side item on my bowl from all the ones I ordered. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER go back to this location. I would like to get my moneys worth and this place is not it. Always a disappointment.
