The food is great at CAVA. The online ordering process is always cumbersome and difficult. The service was ok, our food was still not ready after ordering online. We had to wait another 15 minutes or so. We probably should have just ordered in person. This particular location wasn't not super clean. I've gone to this location twice in the last week and both times received horrible service. The first time I waited 45 minutes for my online order, after having asked 2x if it was done, meanwhile at least 20 customers moved through the line to order. They obviously forgot about my order or didn't care. The second time I ordered in the store, having learned my lesson the first time to not order online. I ordered 2 bowls, the first bowl had cucumbers in it, they were pretty much out of them so I got about 5 pieces. The second bowl also had cucumbers and received maybe 4. They gave us the wrong dressing on my second bowl, which we didn't realize until we left the store and my child doesn't like it, so a whole bowl wasted because the guy that put the bowl together obviously didn't care or wasn't paying attention. I do not recommend going to this location. Terrible service. read more

This location needs to hire more people. Significantly more people. Somehow, whenever I order online I have to wait 10 minutes for all of the people ordering in person. However, whenever I order in person I face a 10 minute wait while they process all of the online orders. They don't even have the manpower to place online orders on the to go order counter. I love cava, but whoever runs this location needs to hire more people, as it is somehow always packed. read more

Agian we gave this place a second chance and it was excellent, but the third chance it was a disaster. They where out of literally everything you need to even make a bowl or pita! Surefire waybto run a business into the ground is the way this place.is being managed. read more

We absolutely love Cava and have visited many different locations. This was our first visit to the Columbus, GA location. I did an online order through the app and arrived at the store for pickup about five minutes after my pickup time. Our order was not out which was no problem. I waited ten minutes and then went in line to ask and was simply told, "they are making orders in the back." Didn't even ask for the name or to check the status. So I went back and waited patiently. The order came out almost thirty minutes after its scheduled pickup time. When it came out she handed me the bag and the exchange was very unfriendly. I told her thank you and to have a nice day and she just turned around and walked off. Honestly, the biggest grip here would be customer service and how unpleasant the workers are. As I stood waiting though I also had plenty of time to look around. This store is not clean. The shelves for to go orders even have food on them. The trash can was overflowing, food on tables and floors, etc. When I left and checked my order we were missing ingredients in our bowls which included sauce for one of them and a side of pita we paid extra for. There was no way I was going back and waiting or asking for missing items with how lackluster the employees were here. I know Cava is a super popular franchise right now and this one could use some serious help in meeting the standard everyone is looking for. read more

Ordered from the website, never got the food. We called the store more than 20 times and it went to an answering machine after 0-2 rings. Tried to call their corporate phone number which also went to an answering machine. Once the bank transaction finalized I'll be disputing it. We've ordered on Uber Eats, which did arrive but the order was wrong. Never again. read more

Visited Cava tonight and the service was great. Not sure of the name of the lady serving me, but her along with her manager gave great service! Attentive and greeted me as soon as I approached and gave me the time I needed to order. She didn't wait around and stare at me to pressure me to order, rather, she kept working on what I assume were online orders and there were a bunch. So they are quite busy... Honestly, I've been to Cava already but U thought Is hound write a review for this specific location. Firstly, the food was pretty good & customer service was great. I got the Harissa Avocado. I came here during my lunch break and even though the customer service and food was great. It was so hard to enjoy my meal after a long day at work. It was so hot and when I mentioned something to the cashier, they said that the AC has been broken & they are unable to get that fixed. This made me upset because this didn't seem right for the workers & also the customers coming in and out. I went to this restaurant on May 5 approx. 4:05pm. I was greeted and I waited in front so I can order. I was never asked for my order or if I was ready to order. As soon as 2 young ladies came through the door 5 minutes later I was still ignored and a Caucasian male helped them while still acting like I didn't exist. I walked out because I felt very disappointed by this service. I won't recommend this restaurant to the drug reps at all. read more

I love Cava great food and I once worked their, the girls on the line were just talking when I walked up as if they didn't have a line and the manger had to step in and help, while they continued to chit chat. I didn't get a full serving of meat and they wanted to up charge me for more. The noodles were properly cooked and coated in a creamy sauce, yet it lacked the depth and seasoning one hopes for-- a pinch more salt and pepper would have elevated it considerably. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. Overall, the evening delivered solid, thoughtful plates in a well-run environment, with several bright spots that make a return visit tempting--particularly for those oysters and that excellent crab dip.

I found the shrimp super flavorful. They are prepared by weight, not numbers, so the shrimp count is between 5-7. The cocktail sauce was tasty. I ordered my steak medium rare. It was just over that, but still so tasty, juicy, and tender. The grits were a stand out! They were so good that our table got an extra side to share. Our server, Addison was such a personality and knowledgeable about the menu. Her service convinced me that I could trust her with basically anything. We sat outside, so we never got further than the threshold so I can't say I know too much about the vibe inside. However, there was great people watching, GREAT food, and great company. The combo appetizer was largely disappointing and difficult to justify for the price. The chicken quesadilla was bland and desperately needed seasoning. The fritters were even more underwhelming, tasting primarily of fryer oil with no texture, depth, or discernible flavor. The lone bright spot was the chorizo-stuffed jalapeños, which were flavorful, well-prepared, and easily the best item on the appetizer platter. The accompanying chipotle ranch was also excellent and complemented them nicely. The salsa, however, completely stole the show. It's still my favorite salsa anywhere in the Columbus area by a wide margin. The complimentary chips arrived warm and fresh, an often-overlooked detail that made an immediate positive impression. The guacamole had a smooth, fresh texture but was noticeably under-seasoned and needed more salt. The portion size was also disappointingly small considering the price. The combination plate featuring the chile poblano and steak chimichanga was the evening's biggest letdown. The refried beans tasted as though they had been scooped straight from a can, while the rice was one of the few successes of the meal--well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and fluffy. The chile poblano was shockingly small, easily the smallest I've ever been served, and lacked any real character. The ground beef filling was bland, resulting in little more than a soft, flavorless mound. The steak chimichanga was equally disappointing in both size and execution. It was so small it looked more appropriate for a children's menu. While the steak itself was tender, it lacked seasoning and was excessively greasy. I found myself repeatedly pouring salsa over nearly every bite just to introduce some flavor to the plate. The Plato Loco continued the trend of undersized portions. Once again, the rice was cooked beautifully, and the meat itself was tender, but the overall dish was remarkably bland. Nearly all of the flavor came from the cheese sauce rather than the ingredients themselves. On a positive note, the extra tortillas arrived piping hot, fresh, and delicious. Unfortunately, the service mirrored the kitchen's inconsistency. Our server was largely absent throughout the meal. Drinks sat empty multiple times, our basket of chips often remained without salsa, and we repeatedly had to flag him down for refills and basic table service. This restaurant was once my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbus, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Whether the focus has shifted to the newer Phoenix City location or something else has changed behind the scenes, the difference is impossible to ignore. The generous portions that once set this restaurant apart have shrunk dramatically, and the bold flavors that kept us coming back have largely disappeared. Aside from the outstanding salsa and a few isolated highlights, this meal felt uninspired and poorly executed. It was a disappointing experience that leaves me questioning whether I'll be returning anytime soon.

I recently placed a pick-up order at this CAVA location, and while my experience was overall positive, there were a few things that could have been better. First, I was pleased with how quickly my order was prepared. I placed it online, and by the time I arrived, it was ready and waiting for me. That level of efficiency is always appreciated, especially when you're short on time. However, when I got home and opened my bag, I realized a few add on items were missing from my order. It was disappointing because the convenience of a pick-up order is diminished when your meal isn't complete. Customer service was okay but not exceptional. The staff was polite, but they didn't go out of their way to enhance my experience which isn't a dealbreaker but could definitely use some improvement. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty standard, which is a good thing depending on what you're looking for. It wasn't too loud or too quiet, making it a comfortable spot for dining in if I had chosen to do so. However, the parking situation is a bit frustrating. The parking lot is always full, which makes even a quick pick-up trip a little more stressful than it should be. I've visited other CAVA locations and have loved them more in terms of both food quality and overall experience. Unfortunately, this one didn't quite live up to those standards. That said, it's the closest location to me, so it's convenient, and I will likely return out of necessity. Overall, I'd give this location a 4 out of 5. It's good, but there's definitely room for improvement--particularly in attention to detail with orders and customer service. I'll probably stick to going in the store for orders from here and hope for a smoother experience next time! read more

I can't say enough good things about CAVA! The food is consistently fantastic, and the quality is top-notch. The environment is also a highlight--bright, inviting, and perfectly designed to create a great dining experience. What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible staff. They're always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile. A special shoutout to the manager, whose customer service is truly out of this world. Their genuine care and attention to detail make every visit a pleasure. CAVA has definitely earned a loyal customer in me. Amazing food! I highly recommend to anyone who loves Mediterranean , the lamb meatballs and falafel are superb. They have a variety of flavored lemonades, teas and all natural sodas cucumber lime mint and blueberry lavender have to be my favorite by far! There's outdoor patio seating and is fairly spacious inside, customer service has been amazing every visit. Steven was especially helpful on my last visit and patient while I tried to decide what I wanted. Steven and Marcus are amazing and deserve a raise! We walked in at 8:56, and they had a sign on the door saying they'd close early due to short staff. The prices for extra sauce is almost a dollar. And third, my food was not fast at all. I ordered online and was given a 10 minute ready time. I got there 20 minutes later, there were still working on my order. I feel I'm being nitpicky, but I had much higher expectations given the unusually high reviews. It's the only reason why I gave 2 stars and not 1, to give the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has an off day I guess.
