Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos

The service was excellent! I could not settle on an entree so I selected several sides and I was not disappointed! My favorite dish will always be Bang Bang shrimp but the come in a taco as well! Now that's the best of both worlds a taco shrimp combo! The Au gratin potatoes are my second favorite! Job well done!

This was a really disappointing dinner. I ordered the parmesan crusted rainbow trout with steamed asparagus and garlic herb potatoes. The trout was dry and barely warm, the asparagus was soggy and unseasoned, and the potatoes tasted like they came out of the microwave. The only reason for the two star rating is because the bartender was really nice and the pineapple martini was good.

I did NOT expect this chicken breast to be split dry and over cook when I ordered this meal. The portions are SO small. I won't EVER order take out from this restaurant. This is a close up pic

The food was great, the service was food. Myself and a friend went to have dinner and as were walking into the restaurant, we were greeted and quickly attended to and seated. We got started with drinks that were made from the bar and they were quick! Came to the table in less than 6 mins after seating. Ordered our delicious food that came out pretty quick. Everything was seasoned and flavorful.

Great food and and an absolute great friendly and fun server- Melissa was the best she made us feel at home. Cod A+ Trout A+ and the loin and shrimp A+. Great flavors, excellent service, nothing better to ask for.

Our first visit to Bonefish in Columbus. Shanika was very friendly and helpful. She guided us through the specials and was very thorough. The bang bang shrimp was delicious, as well as the crab dip. Everything was very good. Wife got the steak and lobster and I got the steak and crab cake. Her lobster was tender and very good. Both steaks were tender. All the veggies were good. I really liked the spinach. Overall, great first visit, and we'll bring the family next time.

That's the only reason we chose this place to celebrate my son's Turning Green ceremony after 10 weeks of basic training. We ordered a lot of food, and almost everything was mediocre or just bad. The wings were tiny, we never received the gator bites, and the snow crab legs ($96 for 5 clusters) tasted freezer burnt with a terrible aftertaste. We added boiled eggs, which were overcooked, and paid extra for potatoes we never received, though it didn't matter because the ones that came with the boil were bland and completely unseasoned. But the biggest issue? The crawfish were frozen. That was the whole reason we came. When I spoke up, the server said he honestly didn't know and believed me when I said there's no way they were previously live because he didn't know who cooked them or how they were prepared. That alone says a lot. Yes, they removed the crawfish from the bill after I spoke up, but we still paid $196 (and I still tipped) for food that was clearly freezer-based and rushed through a fryer. Nothing about this experience felt Cajun or worth the money. If we had been told the truth from the start, we would have never come. Would not recommend.

We waited less than 10 minutes. We were greeted at the reception counter and were seated to our booth. I found it pretty odd that we didn't pay for our meals prior to seating. Matter of fact, it's a first that we've encountered this. All other buffets typically have you pay first. The buffet offers a variety of Asian cuisine such as Vietnamese, Japanese sushi/ramen, Mongolian, Chinese and more. Buffet prices are as follows: Weekday Monday-Friday Lunch $13.25 Dinner $16.75 Saturday & Sunday $16.75 All Day *Parties of 6 or more will have a 15% gratuity added to the bill. The restaurant is clean and bright. Service was on point. There were so many selections! We tried a variety of food, especially the seafood. Most of the food we tried were tasty and flavorful. We didn't try the Mongolian as we got super stuffed. LOL! The fruits were good. We both agreed that the desserts fell short. The assorted cakes were dry. The ice cream cups are available in the freezer come in vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and orange sherbet flavors. My sister and I really enjoyed our dinner. It was well worth the price of $16.75 each. We would return again.

Yes, it took me 39 years to return to Ezell's, but it was well worth it. While stationed there at Fort Benning back in 1986-1987 for school and my final duty assignment, a fellow soldier friend insisted on taking my wife and me to dinner. It was so delicious that I vowed to return one day. And yes, I've been back to Columbus on several occasions, but never found the time to patronize Ezell's again. But I did this time, and it was just like I remembered it. Oh, and did I mention it was busy with locals? I was waited on by Hannah and had the filet with the coleslaw and fries...and man, did that hit the spot! I think what was my favorite part of this meal was their homemade tartar sauce, which was very mild and accompanied the catfish perfectly. It was a wonderful experience, and being able to once again return to this fixture of Columbus. Five stars for wonderful service and delicious catfish...and all the sides that came with the filets. I hope to return to Columbus again early next year (2026) for more business meetings, and when I do, I'll definitely return to Ezell's again...and not wait another 39 years!

Here is why (forewarning: this review is lengthy): I understand that we are in the midst of a pandemic. I get there and let them know my name. The young lady who took my order over the phone walked to the back and asked did they have my order together. A man's voice from the back yells out "We don't have no fucking Bianca". I kid you guys not. The two ladies that were working the front stated "Woah woah! We have customers up here". The young lady who took my order told him that she would send him home. She comes up to the front and says, "give us another 10 minutes, I apologize." We go back in after about 15 minutes and my dad is with me because he was the second order. His order is ready. They ask for my order, and again, the guy from the back does not have it. I know this because the young lady who took my order stated that she gave him the order receipt THREE TIMES! At this point I'm furious and my dad asks do I want to cancel the order. I didn't want to because of all the things that was going on and I just KNEW my food was going to make up for it. My dad asked the other lady who worked the front if she knew what was going on. I get home, and before I can open up my food, my dad calls me and asks me have I seen the boil? I say no, and he proceeds to tell me that it is extremely salty and the taste was not up to par. I open my boil, I immediately see a stack of seasoning on one piece of corn. I only have TWO potatoes (need I remind you, this is the Snow Crab Seafood Boil for TWO). I open Up the catfish filet meal, the food is just thrown together. And the extra one she provided me, I wouldn't have fed it to my dog! The taste of the food was even worse. After the corn, potatoes, some shrimp and ONE cluster of crab legs (there were four), I threw the boil away. Castaway WAS an amazing place with GOOD food and GOOD staff. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had this last time. I will be going somewhere else.
