I visited the South Blvd location on yesterday(7/16) at 8:45- the worse service and experience ever. When I arrived they we're missing several items and the young lady that helped me had the worse attitude. She seemed to be preparing to close and the other workers were sitting down eating when they were to close at 10pm (an hour and 15 mins later). When I got to the register, she sat me food down and walked off. I tapped to pay and had to bag all my stuff myself. When the receipt didn't print because she walked off, I had to ask for it and she seemed so upset. Worst experience - horrible customer service and item selection was awful. read more

I think this is a great addition to South End. It's a fast and healthy option. There's a parking deck that doesn't charge attached so it's easily accessible. The inside has a modern rustic feel and was very clean with a lot of table available. Theres also some tables outside which seemed like a popular area. I noticed a lot of people customizing orders but since it was my first time I opted for the Chicken and RightRice bowl where the ingredients were preselected. I thought it was great. The chicken had a good flavor and had a great mix of other ingredients like feta, cucumber, hummus and tomato. They also have a good price point. My meal was only $10.50 and was more than enough food. I would order it again and am excited to return! read more

I ordered grains bowl with 9 toppings but it looked like half of topping., taste was good but I literally am still hungry. Hands down Yafo and Mezzeh have double the selection and flavor amazing. They skimp on toppings at $11 plus tax go to Zafo Kitchen and have 2 days worth of food for less money. Maybe u should've ordered it in person rather than online but shouldn't make a difference. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I ordered online 20 minutes before my pickup and when I showed up, I was ignored for another 10 minutes. There was a man waiting for his online order as well and he literally had to bag his own order before the employee in the back proceeded to talk shit about the poor guy waiting forever for his online order. She then proceeded to text for another 10 minutes while the line continued to get backed up and I had yet to be addressed. The employee making orders walked away from the customer as she was ringing him up and made him grab his own fork from the front counter after they informed them nothing was stocked. The trash was over flooding and the service was so poor that the food wasn't even worth it. I'd rather get chipotle than go out of my way to get food from here. read more

I had the opportunity to eat at Cava on April 3, 2023. This was my first time eating there and I must say I was impressed, the employees were very helpful but the employee who stood out the most was Lamont he took his time to walk me through on how to put my bowl together. I had greens and grains with chicken and the fried pita chips with my bowl. Everything was delicious and very fresh tasting I will definitely be visiting Cava again. read more

I've always been a fan of cava food but every single time I go to this south end location the workers are SO rude. They act like it's an inconvenience for you to be there and they rush you through the line. It's never just one time it's every time I have been and I will now never be returning. The juices look like they have been sitting in the containers for about a week as well. I've never had restaurants workers actually go out of their way to be rude but for everyone here that always seems like the case especially the last time I went. Get it together. read more

I absolutely love Cava ! I was so excited to learn they were opening a new location in Midtown and a location is in South End . Last time I was here at the South End location they didn't make my food right. This time I went and they tried to serve me rotten lettuce with mountains of feta . Looking back now I see I should have taken a picture . But , for how nice of areas these locations are in the least I would expect is consistency . Not only was my lettuce completely rotten and saturated but the onions were old and completely translucent . I went to culinary school and this is just shocking that it would be ok to serve this product. I am highly disappointed in the lack of management and consistency. The University location so far is the best one and I will never come back to the South End location . - a frustrated Charlotte resident read more

I absolutely LOVE this place!! It's similar to chipotle style, but Mediterranean food and I adore that. I love a good Mediterranean place. I usually get grains and greens and the spicy lamb meatballs are absolutely delicious. I also love their roasted red pepper hummus! The fact that they have pickled red onions literally makes them my favorite place like ever lol. I recommend the dressing as your sauce! It's so so good! Also their service is amazing. I always get take out and one time my food wasn't ready so they offered me a free tea for having to wait!! So sweet! I tried their beet lemonade and it's so addicting. I had never been to CAVA previously but so for i've been twice in a week. The food is flavorful and the staff and manger are great. They offered to let us sample any items we were unfamiliar with or just wanted to taste. I ordered a grain bowl with chicken and lamb as my protein. Delish! Everything looks and taste super fresh. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is comfortable. On my second visit one of the staff members remembered us and was glad that we came back. I would have given them 5 stars if the manager with the bandanna and glasses wasn't so nasty and rude, she always has a sour attitude whenever I come, she skimps on chicken and is never friendly, if the food wasn't so good i would not be coming here. Consistently have issues with online orders - not ready on time (make sure to set pickup time to 15 mins after you plan to get there), items missing/different than what was ordered, etc - otherwise would have rated 5 stars. read more

Loved it the first time so I went back. Ordered online for curbside pickup. The mananger was incredibly rude. I finally went inside to speak with manager after a couple of attempts by phone. I requested a refund. Manager threw my food across the room, flipped me the finger and ordered me out of her store. No problem - I won't be back. read more

Wow this place is sooo good! I've been twice since they've opened Super clean, friendly staff, amazing food. I went here at 9:30 on jun 17 and had terrible service. i asked for hummus and was told there was no hummus with such a horrible attitude. I had just had a medical procedure done and parked my car and wanted to grab something quick inside. I forgot my mask which was in my car on the other side of Atherton Mill (I assumed they would have some extra disposable ones inside) the employee told me they didn't have any and told me if I went outside she would take my order. So I waited outside patiently, she came outside with a piece of paper and pen and I then asked for her a menu. She rolled her eyes, went inside, brought me a menu and she took my order. She then said someone would be out for my payment. A different employee came out and gave me my total, I tried to give her cash and she then explained that they didn't accept cash and looked at the door as if I was supposed to see a sign (which there wasn't) I then asked when it would be ready because im not supposed to be in the sun for long periods of time. She snarled "it's already ready, I'm just waiting on your payment. " I gave her my card. And she came back with my receipt & bag of food. I apologized for not having a mask and stated I had just had a medical procedure done to my face. And she said "Ew, I would not have done that if I were you." I was so shocked and disappointed with these two girls. I also work in customer service and I would be absolutely appalled that any of my employees would treat customers this way. I can't help but wonder if I wasn't Asian, if they would've treated me with more respect. Not sure how the food was, because I was too afraid to eat it. If they treat customers this way ,I'm not sure what else they are capable of doing. read more

My wife and I stopped by here because we were getting tired of a similar Mediterranean restaurant in Plaza Midwood. We were blown away by the ingredients and quality of the finished products. All the different types of handmade drinks are awesome as well. The overall best part of our experience was the service we got from Andre. He walked us through the ingredients calmly and explained it to us in such an easy manner that made us feel so comfortable. We will definitely be back, worth the drive over from the "other" Mediterranean restaurant. read more
