Cava Digital Kitchen leaves much to be desired, particularly when it comes to the overall dining experience. The environment is cold and uninviting, lacking the warmth and comfort you'd hope for in a place to grab a meal. Also it is literally COLD inside. There is an option to sit outside, but inside is very uncomfortable and freezing!! The food mirrors this atmosphere unfortunately--often arriving cold (when supposed to be warm or hot) and clearly prepared too far in advance. It's obvious that the focus on online orders has led to meals sitting out for a while before being served, which significantly impacts the quality. Another downside is the cleanliness. The tables are consistently dirty, and it's frustrating to have to search for a clean spot to sit. This lack of attention to detail makes the dining experience even less enjoyable. To top it off, the prices at Cava Digital Kitchen are on the higher side, especially considering the quality of food and service. It's disappointing that the lunch options are both expensive and underwhelming. There's a real need for better, more affordable choices that offer fresh and properly prepared meals. Overall, Cava Digital Kitchen falls short on several fronts, making it difficult to recommend. Between the cold food, dirty tables, and high prices, it's not a place I'd rush back to. read more

I've been patronizing this location for 3 years now and today is my LAST TIME!!! The customer service SUCKS!!! I ordered from the app on yesterday and tried to redeem my rewards for free pita chips and was told I'm not able to use my rewards at those location. Today I placed my order and was supposed to pickup at 12:45 and it's now 12:55 and still no order. When I came in I was told there are no pita chips due to a fryer issue. I wish this location would get it together but I'll be going to another CAVA going forward. read more

This was not the Cava I was expecting!! I had never heard of a Cava Digital Kitchen before. At this Cava you have to place an order either on the digital app or with a third-party site like DoorDash or Uber eats. Thank goodness I have the app already downloaded. I quickly place an order through the app and sat at the provided tables and waiting for my order to be made. I was quoted a 15 minute wait through the app, but ended up waiting about 25 minutes for my order to be made. My bowl was well-made and they did not skimp like some other fast causal restaurants do. Everyone working was very pleasant and helpful. I asked for my sauce on the side and they gave me plenty. I will definitely return to this digital kitchen if I'm in the area again. The process was quick and seamless. I feel like it cut down on having to wait in a line for the food to be made and I got the same results as ordering at a traditional Cava. If we could give them a -1 we would. The customer service was terrible - they didn't even say anything to us while we struggled to find their menu in the store for the first several minutes. When we asked them, they said "oh you do it all online" and they went back to stargazing through their storefront windows. We stood there for almost 10 minutes BSing around with their website, and when we got past the questions about birthdays and emails and phone numbers and cookies permissions, making a password and username with specific character requirements etc, and finally got to the ordering screen... they wanted to save our credit card data too. All just because we were hungry and thought it might be a nice quickie food stop on a Saturday afternoon. Your marketing sucks. Totally ignores what the customer is there for in the first place - to get some friggen food. read more

I was prepared to be wowed by the lunch from Cava, but things did not go as planned. When we attempted to order through their online app, we were unable to place the order. A screen was displayed stating that there were technical issues and to try again another time. So we went down to Cava. My friend talked to Kong and another gentleman about the issue. Unfortunately there wasn't any resolution and we were forced to get some sushi from Fresh Market. I'd be happy to leave another review if the app lets me order some food. read more

I always love Cava. I do split lentils and romaine with the honey harissa chicken. Spice level varies but with some hummus and tzatziki to help on the hotter days, it's perfect. I love the cabbage topping and dill yogurt dressing. Plus the fried pita chips are a real guilty pleasure. read more

First and LAST time at this CAVA and any other digital Kitchen CAVA. Ordered my normal bowl (I've had it hundreds of times before) and the bowl was barely more than half full. Meatballs are burnt and hardly any greens/rice. Service is not much more than an app. Just go to the normal CAVAs. read more

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at this Cava location! We especially liked speaking with J! She's so kind and welcoming. The food is delicious, made quickly, and fresh. The restaurant is cool and inviting, which we appreciated after being on the road for several hours. We will be coming back next time we come through Charlotte for sure. I'd also like to add that it seems that many of the negative reviews are left by people who do not know how to use an app or read a sign. Do better! read more

Having been to the one in Birkdale a million times, I had high expectations for this Digital Kitchen. What a let down! Standing right in front of the employees, the app is not working. But they don't care. I am the only one there at 1:15 on a Thursday. Which should be slammed with people picking up their orders, their is no one there! You would think they would offer to help me. They do see me struggling, but nope, they are talking amongst themselves. Then I look around the place, it looks dingy, dirty and old. I think why am I even trying? Cava get rid of this digital place. People enjoy picking out their own toppings for their salads. Stop trying to cut costs with less employees. It's a very cold concept. Love this cava! My mom and I came in for lunch the other day and had no idea you had to order on the app and couldn't order there. The staff was so nice about it though. When we got our bowl it was so fresh and delicious. A lot of other Cava locations recently have given me either a wrong order or went skimpy on the bowl, didn't get all my items, but this location got everything right! It was perfect ! I used to love this place but they have gotten sooo skimpy on the amount of food you get. It's ridiculous. I asked for extra veggies and I got barely a half scoop more for 2.95! They charge so much and give you sooo little. Disappointed they have cut your portions down to kiddie size. read more

Now it's a complete joke- portions are super small compared to what they used to be and also they are serving avocados way past their prime- brown and not appealing at all- worst of all when I said something to the manager- I believe her name was Jessica she said it's fine- the dressing makes it turn brown.
