I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I've been told it's an upgraded Chipotle. I ordered the glazed salmon bowl. It's actually quite yummy. I like the decor, the lighting, the wooden furniture. Only thing is it's a little pricey, like a bowl costs $17.

I love giving 5-star reviews! It hurts my heart to give less than 5-stars but it really helps to separate the greats from the poor, okay and good places. I can confidently say after my first visit that Cava in Chandler is great! My wife and I stopped here on a whim looking for food in the area on our way home. She remembered I wanted to try Cava and she was down, so we popped in around 7:30 on the Thursday night. Wow...the place was packed! That's always a good sign. I hadn't done my homework on what they offer, but the employees were more than gracious to go over their selections and the ingredients and toppings they have. They recommended a custom bowl and that's what I ordered. You can also order wraps and pitas. I packed my bowl with so many things I'm going to leave quite a few out due to geezer brain, but I got white rice as my base and spicy lamb + grilled chicken as my main proteins. I added red pepper hummus and harissa in my bowl, then a ton of veggies like olives, avocado, onion, cucumber, pickles, etc. I added lentils and topped it with a spicy sauce. My wife got the sweet potato base with lettuce/greens base. We also got a side of pita chips. The drink fountain has Maine Root sodas! That may be disappointing if you're a Coke or Pepsi only person, but I haven't had Maine Root in years and was super excited to get the blueberry soda again. I also sampled their root beer and it's amazing. Cava has unique craft drinks as well like a tangerine aleppo (also sampled...really good) and an assortment of limeaid/lemonades and teas. The interior was spacious enough that we could navigate around the crowds and find an open table. The tables and interior were clean, especially for the end of the day where many restaurants can be a work in progress on the cleanliness side. We had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more entrees and drinks! Thanks Cava Chandler!

Drink - Pineapple apple mint drink - Love their food. Full of flavor. Their pineapple apple mint drink was tasty. I couldn't compare it to anything else at the time, but I could taste the basil. It is described online as following: pineapple apple mint - 160 Cal, this super refreshing juice is made in-house with pineapple, apple cider, fresh mint, and lime juice. The lime is why I thought it was a lemonade. I could still call it a limeade. It was thirst quenching and refreshing. Atmosphere - Quite a few people there at lunch time. No strange or strong odors or smells. No music playing when I visited. I liked that. I prefer no music over loud music. I don't like loud music. It's hard to hear with loud music. I did not visit the restroom. Service - There were about three or four employees. The service here has been quick. Order and pay at the counter. Self seating. Quick service for take out orders. Some places take a long time for take out orders. I went to a breakfast place and while their app showed the progress it took forever to get to the completion stage even during a non-busy hour. I was surprised since it was for pancakes, eggs and turkey bacon. Cava was great, especially since I was in a hurry but was really thirsty. Parking - Surface parking lot. No parking meter or parking structures. Wish there was covered parking. Nothing unique add at this time. Did not see a health rating on Yelp. Seemed clean and organized when I visited.

I've been here twice and both times my bowls are half full. And I select a majority of the toppings. Other locations don't skimp on their servings. Does my bowl look like the advertising photos? Nope. It's barely half full. For the price this isn't acceptable.

Absolutely delicious, I'm shocked I've never tried cava until now. The food is amazing and I felt like the portion size was good for the price. It is a little spendy but it is so worth it for the quality. The interior at this location is nothing special. It's your typical quick dining experience. I thought the workers were kind and it was clean inside. They also have a ton of different drink options that most places do not so that was fun to try as well!

My first experience with CAVA was actually in Maryland. I am sooooo glad CAVA is finally here in Arizona and I finally made it!!!! Nothing has changed and the flavor was just the way I remember it! The portion size is great even for to-go. When I got home (20 minutes), the food still tasted great! The pita bread was crispy. All of the sauces were delicious. With so many options on the app, I was worried that the ordering process would be complex, but it was easy to follow through. I was only in the dining area for a brief moment and someone already saw me and told me I can grab my order at the pick up area. It was a smooth process. The aroma of the dining area...oh, it smelled so great! It's clean and tidy too!

This was ok, and took care of my hunger. I ordered the build your own pita. I immediately wished I had done the bowl with rice instead. I wasn't crazy about the texture of the pita. It was thick and puffy. The harissa chicken was good and fairly spicy. I loved all the toppings. It was packed with cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes etc... it was all tasted great in the bowl with rice! Service and atmosphere were ok.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while but haven't had a chance to until now. I thought it would be a restaurant but it's actually more of a casual fast food spot with a dining area inside and out on the patio. I hadn't looked it up so it was a surprise to find out they offered Mediterranean style food. Ordering was fast and easy. The portions were quite generous and the pita wraps were very large! We ordered greek chicken and crispy falafel pita wraps and a side order of spicy lamb meatballs. Everything was quite tasty so I'm sure we'll be back again! The spicy lamb meatballs were spiced with seasonings and not spicy (hot) for anyone that might be concerned. The prices weren't overly high and seemed fairly reasonable for what we received. We weren't wanting any sides so this was just about what we needed at the time so we actually didn't overeat as we probably would have under normal circumstances. I think we just walked in after a large group departed so the tables weren't wiped down yet. The rest of the tables were kind of a mess but we were able to find a clean one. Parking is easy and just outside the front entrance. There are several dining places in the area so it might get a little crowded depending on the day and time. They're conveniently located for us to get to easily. I'm sure we'll be back again for more now that we know what to expect. Go check them out as I'm sure you'll find something on their menu that will hit the spot.

Always a fabulous experience at Cava! Amazing food, fresh and made to order, great vibes and love the service. A favorite spot for sure!

    Harissa Chicken Avocado bowl
    Nicki M.

First timer here after I have consistently heard people rave about this place. You can build your own bowl or pita, or choose from one of the prebuilt options on the menu. I chose to go with the harissa chicken avocado bowl and added extra chicken. The bowl is good and has a lot of stuff in it... greens, basmati rice, corn, avocado, pickled onions, cucumbers and some hummus. Some of the scoop sizes are kind of small, so certain flavors got lost in this bowl such as cucumber. Overall the flavor is really good and I would come back for this. Service was a bit slow for a "fast med. food" option but seems like they're still figuring things out. This is a great quick option packed with a lot of flavor and fairly healthy.

This is crazy! Third time a charm? NOPE- what's interesting about this visit is that the lady infront of me was also gripping about the portions of the spoons. How is this place still in business. I took a picture of my $16 dollar bowl and no I didn't task for less food.. I actually asked for two scoops of rice and was given it. The picture is exactly what I ordered and it looks like more than what's it is in person

We order lunch delivery from Cava often and haven't been disappointed. Delivery service is quick. Easy to order online. Food is flavorful and you can have it made exactly the way you want it. Good fast casual option.

The table side cooking presentations were also extremely underwhelming and they leave them out and cover the cheese wheel with a towel which definitely ruins the anticipation. The service was also disappointing. Our waiter was new but kept using that as an excuse to everything that went wrong and they forgot every single thing we requested (butter for the bread, chili flakes for the pasta) & we had to ask others for it. Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back. Having several other Mediterranean food options within miles that I do enjoy has relegated this place to 'in emergency break glass' status.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and you can really count on getting the same great quality with every visit. I honestly crave it at least once a week! Whether it's the perfectly seasoned meats, fresh salads, warm pita, or their amazing sauces, everything is packed with flavor. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly. If you're looking for reliable, delicious Mediterranean food in Mesa, Green Corner is an easy 5-star recommendation. It's become one of my go-to spots, and I can't recommend it enough!

We ordered a Greek Salad with Gyro and a Vegetarian platter, retrieved our drinks and found a table. Our food arrived about 10 minutes later. The Greek Salad was delicious and included greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, red onions and feta cheese. I added gyro as the protein and it was a generous portion. The Vegetarian plate was also generous and was enjoyed by my friend. It included three crispy falafel, hummus, tabouleh salad, baba ghannoug, 2 stuffed grape leaves and tahini sauce with pita bread. We look forward to returning. Highly recommended for delicious Greek food and generous portions at a fair price!

Parking can be challenging in this busy strip mall, although this time it was fairly quick and easy. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. We were offered a window seat overlooking the lake. Open kitchen, unique decor, up beat music and a nice view made for a great ambiance. It was about 1/3 full, but filled up in the next 30 minutes. We ordered the Hummus Trio and Chipotle Chicken pita pizza to start. The Hummus came with pita bread and was delicious. The chipotle chicken pizza was good. We next shared the Centurion Salad, which was flavorful but lacked ample Pepitas, pickled daikon and dressing. We also shared Mahi Mahi with jalapeño hummus and pita chips, although we swapped the chips for pita bread for a healthier version. We both really enjoyed it and was our favorite dish. Nice happy hour with house margaritas $4 every day, 3pm to 6pm. Fun times and healthy food at a reasonable price. We look forward to returning soon. Highly recommended!

You can also choose to sit outside on the patio, where there are lots of lights and a great view of a little man-made lake. I ordered the blue corn nachos (appetizer) for ~$13 while my boyfriend ordered the gyro for ~$11. The fresh, blue corn nachos came with a huge serving! Still had food to take home. My boyfriend liked his gyro too. Both entrees were pretty standard, however, we loved our non-alcoholic beverages as well (iced teas and lemonades). Both drinks were pretty sweet, BUT the cherry-on-top is that our waiter provided us with LARGE cups of our beverages to go! Overall, a great place for value and for a casual lunch or night out.
