This place is the bomb! The people are great and the catfish is off the chain.......but the best thing here is the shrimp n grits and red beans and rice. Oh, and the crawfish pies. And the boudain. And the gumbo.....and the po boys....well, you get the point read more

Went there for the first time today and we got a catfish and some chicken tenders. The food was really really good. The spicy tarter sauce goes great with everything too. read more

Really annoying that you can never call them. NEVER. I've tried multiple times to order pickup by calling in advance, and even when someone picks up, they put you on hold forever. Really need to improve their ordering system. read more

We were crazing some seafood and decided lets try this place with a name like Catfish Station; the catfish has to be good. Well the catfish is okay light and fluffy batter but coild use more spicy or salt. It wasn't bad but it was great either. We had the pound of catfish and a pound of shrimp for two adults and two kids its was enough food for everyone to get full. The red beans and rice were delicious just the right amount of flavor. The cooktail sauce was delicious too. read more

Great catfish and shrimp! The cheese grits and bread pudding aren't too shabby either! I'm from SW Louisiana, so it's hard to find good Cajun food near in Spring, but this place is a very close 2nd best, and the crew are very sweet and welcoming. read more

Well I made the mistake of going to the Catfish Station at 18416 Kuykendahl Rd again to buy food for some workers who requested it. Its fast food so the last of service is what it is. I order shrimp and catfish and bread pudding (which is great). The shrimp was fine. But the catfish (which is their namesake) was not. Apparently it was not fully cooked and very wet on the inside. Not sure how old the catfish is but its a surprise since this is supposedly their specialty. But they do have good batter on the catfish. This is not the first time the catfish has been like that. So I won't be going back. I'll just have to drive to the other seafood restaurants. This location is convenient but not worth the risk. Not sure what's going on at this location. read more

I've visited the other locations. Glad to see this location because it's closer to my house. Food is excellent with an extended menu compared to the other locations. Seafood is consistently fresh! Staff is great. You will not be disappointed. read more

We absolutely love this place, we have never been disappointed. Such big portions, I always have lunch for the next day! Hands down my favorite thing besides the catfish is the grits, and I'm not a grits gal! But seriously cheesy with smoked sausage in the grits?!?! What's not to love? I have a minivan full of kids and no one argues when we say mom's craving catfish! They all love the mac and chees and the fries, my only suggestion would be more dessert items...if you're that good at the southern food what can you do with southern desserts? read more

This is my favorite catfish place thus far! It reminds me of back home in Louisiana. The food is delicious and quick. It's a little pricey for the type of food but it's good. I've had the shrimp tacos, fish tacos and catfish so far. I can't wait to go back and try additional foods read more

The service was excellent, and the food was just right..I had the combination platter with fish and shrimp. Its not overly seasoned like most places 83rd just right, and I received a complimentary shrimp and grits which was the best I ever had..this place is a must go read more

This place has great food,I patiently waited 30 minutes for my order, because they had like 3 different parties of 10 of more dining in. Mines was to go. I brought it to they attention that I'm still waiting. They apologized and threw in a few extra shrimp. That was cool with me. read more

Good environment people are very friendly. Food is great and the hush puppies were on point .

It's great to have a real Cajon spot on the north side. Service was great along with the food. Catfish was cooked to perfection and so was the. Shrimp. Will be sending everyone. read more

Very good service, everyone friendly and helpful. Note: credit card purchase do not allow tips so have some cash. My husband ordered the 5 piece fried catfish with red beans and rice, we brought 2 pieces home, I thought he would make himself sick insisting on finishing the beans and 3rd piece of fish, too much food for $8.99. I ordered the 2 shrimp, 2 catfish, fries snack for $6.99 brought home 1 piece of fish, too full to eat the really good, crispy fries. The hush puppies are so good. Okay I could finish the 'snack' because of the crawfish pie, it was so very good but better because of the ettouffee sauce. Next time he's ordering just red beans and rice while I get ettouffee. read more

I have nothing bad to say about Catfish station, the food is tasty and the service is very simple. I'm still on the fence with the prices, I think simple little establishes like this should be a little more cost effective. read more

The food here is terrific! The staff is super friendly and helpful as well. Great place to bring the whole family!

Absolutely delicious food!! The grilled shrimp po'boy was so tasty. Their French fries are crispy and delish. And crawfish pie is a fav!!

Food was hot and good. Perfect amount of seasoning. I've visited other catfish station locations and didn't like it. This one was super clean, spacious, nice staff and great food! read more

Best fried shrimp ever!! Also had catfish and it was excellent, then topped off with WOW banana pudding!!!!

The people that call this place pricey must be comparing to Popeyes...very reasonable prices for the excellent quality food!!! read more

Catfish Station - Seafood Near Me - Spring, Texas

What a great place. Had the fried catfish dinner and fried catfish po'boy. Service was very good and polite. We will definitely be back.

I'm sorry but if you're a person who likes your food seasoned this is NOT the place. The restaurant is clean and everyone is friendly but the food is not all that great. read more

Excellent! I had the Catfish Basket with Cheese Grits. More than I could eat and a great price. I'll have to try their Gumbo next time My new catfish place! read more

I love my husband's fried fish, but when he doesn't want to make me any, Catfish Hut is a great substitute. This was my first time at the location. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and out good came out very fast. The fish was very fresh. The food was very flavourful. My fish was fried a little too hard. When I brought it to the attention of the employee, he got me new fish out very fast. I'll definitely be back. read more

Stopped by for the first time and tried the catfish and the bread pudding. The catfish was amazing and very clean tasting. My only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is the bread pudding was overly dry and not good at all. Also the remouloude sauce was very good. I will definitely try it again but I won't buy any of the desserts. read more

I went there Friday night with a friend and never even completed an order. The man at the counter seemed irritated that we arrived at 8:45 and they closed at 9. He did not speak clearly so that I could hear and understand. I am 67 and my hearing is not good. His attitude seemed unfriendly that he was having to repeat. Finally I said we are just not communicating and we would leave. I felt unwelcome there and will not return. No smile or welcome when entering. Could have been much more pleasant. read more

Delicious blackened catfish and the etouffee sauce was great! Loved the green beans (nicely spiced) and very homemade tasting coleslaw. Very friendly service. We've definitely found a new local cajun place. I look forward to trying the cheesy grits! read more

Andrew, the assistant manager, is really rude and not helpful. He could learn a thing or two about customer service.

Great seafood and related dishes for the price range and convenience. I love the red beans & the catfish is great.

My family of 7 loved it. Large portions, quality food. We had the fried catfish, dirty rice and red beans and rice and loved it all. Even the kids' mac and cheese was quality, much more 'real' than most kids' meal sides. We'll be back to check out the rest of the menu, but we loved our first trip! read more

I don't normally like grits, but these were good.. Both my mom and I agreed that they were the best grits we've ever had. The fried food was really good too. Normally when I think fried catfish I picture catfish fillets with heavy breading and dripping with grease, but these were nothing like that. The fillets were not thin and they weren't overly breaded, and most of all they weren't greasy. Their blackened catfish was very tasty too. read more

This place has really great service but the crawfish was dirty, the potato was really hard, the catfish was dry, and the rice was salty.

Authentic ambiance. Great menu with many possible combinations. Personal service. Great food.

Went for the first time yesterday and tried the shrimp and catfish basket. It was delicious, good size shrimp and the catfish was cooked just right.I thought the hushpuppies were good as well.I enjoyed a salad on the side with bacon caesar dressing. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. They give teachers a discount, just show your id! Definitely going back!!! read more

Wow. I can't believe I've never been here before. I've driven by 100's of times. The catfish is really good. Crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. The hush puppies are amazing. The prices are really good as well. I'll be back this weekend probably! read more

We really like this catfish! The only thing I would change is the bread pudding. The shrimp and grits is great!!
