We also went for the seafood platter for two and it was spot on. Fresh oysters, raw scallop, lobster, prawns-nothing missed the mark. The bartender also knows how to make a drink-hands down one of the smoothest Old Fashioned I've had in a long time. Shout out to Beulah (sp?)!! We ate at the bar and were greeted and treated by amazing staff! Our entire dinner experience was terrific also because of the staff behind the bar. And if you've got room for dessert, do yourself a favor and order the "Hit Me." It's one of a kind, super rich, and the perfect ending to the night. Catch has the food, the drinks, and the vibe. I hate to give Catch a low review because the service was great and some of the food was really good but the little gem salad was soaked in too much dressing and the crispy cauliflower was ruined by smothering it with a mayo based dressing. The main reason for my lower review was that it was WAY TOO LOUD!!! Disturbing and not the best music. The music was turned up so loud that the entire restaurant has to yell to have a conversation. The space felt a little confused, the entrance had a cool, energetic vibe, the bar area was very quiet and kind of dry, and the dining room was dark and felt disconnected from the rest. The sushi was okay, not bad, just not something I'd go out of my way for. The music was kind of all over the place, which made the atmosphere feel inconsistent, and it didn't really land as a romantic spot. At one point the table next to us was singing Happy Birthday like it was a Friday night at a chain restaurant, which definitely took us out of the moment. People were severely underdressed. I came here on a Bach. Trip dinner and it was our first night in Vegas. I really appreciated how beautiful it was and how great it was for picture taking! We had a pre fixed menu for the evening and it was wonderful. There was only one roll that was crab based that wasn't my favorite, but overall it was delicious. My second time at Catch and I had to try some new items to soak up the menu! We had a late dinner 10pm on a Saturday. Busy yes but not too long of a wait. Sultry vibes, darker inside but the ambiance feels like you're on a tropical vacation! Got the lobster mac and cheese, you guys this is my new favorite. Good lobster, cheese, pasta ratio. However, one thing overpowered our experience at Catch so that is all I am going to Yelp about. Our $300 Catch gift card was not accepted at Catch Restaurant at Aria in Las Vegas. We were told it cannot be used in NV, where we live. They said it is in the fine print on their website somewhere. As you can see it is not stated anywhere on the gift card that it is invalid in Las Vegas. I don't know about you, but when I receive a gift card I do not then go to the company website to look through fine print, I just go to the establishment and use it! I reached out on their company website after the fiasco to see if they could somehow rectify the issue for us. Website stated someone would contact me in 24-48 hours which never happened. Not quite the CATCH! The ambience is beautiful, that's for sure. The service is also OK. However, the food is very mediocre. The sushi menu is very limited and basic. The brunch menu in general is also pretty boring. We opted for the tasting menu, which gave us lots to try, including the donut wheel at the end, but it was extremely dense and not so good. Fun to look at and "instagram worthy", but definitely not tasty. Our favorite item out of the entire menu were the oysters lol. And oysters just need shucking, so really no culinary skills there. We ordered a wide range of appetizers, salads and main dishes and they all were fabulous. The sushi was incredible, the waygu is torched in front of you. I ate at Catch last weekend on a girls trip and it was SO good. I am a huge fan of raw fish so I ordered the Catch roll and a salmon hand roll. They were both so fresh and the flavors were very tasty. My friends did not realize Catch was a seafood restaurant and are vegetarian. However, they loved their meals too. They got the side of mashed potatoes, edamame, and truffle avocado rolls. I tried some of their mashed potatoes and they were so light and buttery. We went for my friends birthday so the waiters brought the dessert out with a candle. We all sang happy birthday and it was a really nice experience. We also loved the entrance to the restaurant. Entering the restaurant, you're greeted by a gorgeous hallway of flowers, perfect for Instagram with two great spots for photo ops. We had a fantastic dining experience at Catch. The detox retox cocktail had tequila, matcha, cucumber, mint, and lime and was ooh so tasty. The food is meant to be shared between the whole party and that's what we did. Crispy shrimp was tossed in a light batter and sauce and just had a nice crisp pop of flavor when you put one in your mouth. The fried rice had andouille sausage, egg, and we added lobster because when you're in Vegas why not go overboard. The shishito peppers were a nice starter, but just be careful if you eat a seed or two. Also, not pictured were a couple of sushi rolls we ordered, the catch roll and the MR roll. Both were amazing and we ordered seconds of both. The place is dimly lit and and a little loud but it's a great atmosphere.
