Yellowtail was one of the highlights of our Vegas trip. We chose the tasting menu with the sake flight and sat on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Every course was beautifully presented and somehow managed to top the one before it. The sake flight was expertly paired and really elevated the meal without overpowering the flavors. From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced, making the entire evening feel relaxed and special. Between the incredible food, outstanding service, and unbeatable patio atmosphere, this was easily a 10/10 dining experience. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Las Vegas. read more

We came to Yellowtail at the end of May for dinner with friends visiting from the East Coast, and it was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact names of all the dishes we ordered, but we shared several plates, including a seaweed salad, cucumber salad, crispy kimchi Brussels sprouts, a shrimp dish, beef, and fish. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. The beef and fish were the standout dishes, but honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. My only complaints were the ambiance. The restaurant was dark, making it difficult to fully appreciate the beautiful presentation of the food, and it was louder than I expected, making conversation a bit challenging. We skipped drinks since we had cocktails before dinner, but the food alone made the visit worthwhile. Walked in here one Friday night while checked in at bellagio hotel and got seated by host without reservation. We we're assigned outside overlooking some fancy stores, it was a busy night but our server was nice. She was attentive and noted food allergies, the other staff that cleared tables was also nice by helping other staff at all times. Food is okay, although we've expected more for yellowtail sushi. Everything from beginning to end was spectacular! We had reservations, ran late, they still accommodated. No wait, no issue. Great ambiance! The view is great. We paid the minimum $125 per person food and beverage spend for a patio table, and while the view was definitely worth it, we didn't love the meal and wouldn't hurry to go back. We had the rock shrimp, which was pretty standard; the gyoza, which was good but served with a tomato-based sauce that didn't belong on the plate; a simple California roll; the surf and turf - steak was overcooked and the wasabi butter was not working with the lobster... sauces here are not a strength. We also ordered a side of potato puree, which was pretty good. But when aren't they? Our dining experience was not made better by the many diners from inside the restaurant coming out to do photo shoots almost constantly. Some parents just let their children come on the patio and hang out I guess so they could have some "mommy/daddy time". I had high hopes for this restaurant and with the prices they charge I had high expectations as well. The yellowtail serrano was great, tender thinly sliced fish with a bit of spice from the pepper. Paired with the cucumber salad was a nice combo of spicy/tender with sour/crunch from the salad. I was a bit disappointed by the Crispy Kalbi roll, even with the slaw on top there wasn't much a textural element, no crunch as I had expected by the name. Clear soup was pretty standard fare, something you can get anywhere. Our service was good, very formal and stiff, but he made sure everything came out correctly. Ambiance matches the pricing, quite upscale. Located in the Bellagio, you can catch a glimpse of the water show from the dining room which is neat. Like most Vegas restaurants the food is there. It is overpriced and it offers a place for air-conditioning. Overall the food is not bad. The sushi was pleasant. We got a yellow tail maki roll. That was probably my favorite out of everything we ordered. Service was also good prompt but the restaurant also wasn't too busy. First of all, the service was above and beyond, (thank you Theo) and you have a great view of the fountains out by the patio, and the food was so delicious! I had the Braised Wagyu Beef Short ribs with such amazing sauce, a lychee martini that was so good I ordered two, and the dessert was so amazing I forgot what it was called but it was like a bananas foster sauce with apple pie sort of thing! A beautiful dinner spot. Yellowtail is located inside the Bellagio and is stunning. It is one of those places that feels upscale while still feeling very intimate. I had a bit of an unconventional (but still nice) experience at Yellowtail. My friends and I had a reservation for a Saturday evening. Like many of the restaurants on the Strip, there is a missed reservation fee of $25 per person. It was just my luck that we were running late. When we realized we would not make it in time, we tried giving them a call a few times but received no answer. We ended up being just over 30 minutes late, hoping that there was a chance we would still have a table. To our surprise, we were still kindly offered a table. The host said that the original table we booked in the dining room was no longer available but that we could be seated in the lounge (the front of the restaurant that faces the casino). We were grateful to even be given a spot so we accepted the offer and took a seat. This spot is dark, moody, and very ambient. It definitely feels classy. Sitting facing the casino felt a bit awkward and like we were in all the action. We directly faced one of the main walking paths to the other restaurants. In a way, it's nice to have some people watching, but of course, a view of the Bellagio fountains would have been to die for. The table setup was super cute. The napkins and chopsticks were adorable yet classy. First, we ordered the Lychee Martinis. They were super good. The flavor was not too overpowering. It was perfectly sweet and had a flower perfect for some photos. By the time the drinks were brought out, we realized we would not have time to order a full meal. It was very busy and the wait for just the drinks was quite long. We sipped our drinks for a while before one of the waitresses stopped by and said that, in order to sit in the lounge, we would need to order food. So, we ordered the Salmon Tiradito appetizer. The portion was quite small (and of course pricey) for three people. It was very light and refreshingly. I personally was not a huge fan of the flavor but I could tell that it was very high quality. As we were walking from the hostess to our table in the back area, my coworker was loving the ambience. As we were approaching our table, you can see the Bellagio fountain. What an amazing view. This place is FANTASTIC! so much so that I went twice while in Vegas for work. The staff was friendly and very accommodating! They had a dedicated gluten free menu which was nice. The one problem here is that I ordered a roll on both visits and they were made differently so I do suspect that one of them was prepared normally not GF which is unfortunate and thankfully I don't have severe allergies. However the staff was very accommodating and great with suggestions. Now onto the food. I ordered: - miso - salmon sashimi - ebi sushi - a specialty roll from the GF menu - Atlantic black cod Miso was skippable honestly nothing special and I wouldn't get it again. The sushi was so fresh and delicious with the exception of the GF consistency I mentioned before. The STAR of the meals was the Atlantic black cod. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! so good that this is the dish that brought me back a second time. The miso flavoring was so well done!! If you come here I highly recommend this dish. The ambiance is great if you are seated by the fountains. If you're out front it's not the best being so close to a casino entrance it kills the vibes a bit. Sitting at the bar is an option but it does get crowded quickly and when I sat there that's when I suspect I had the roll that wasn't correctly prepared because the bartenders are managing so many different tabs and orders. The roll pictured has a glaze that was left off when I was at a table with a very attentive server who had the roll remade when it was originally made with a non GF sauce according to her. We had requested a window seat, and the host was super friendly and let us know there would be a wait. It ended up being completely worth it because we were seated outside on a private balcony. The server was nice enough to send a dessert however - old rice is a huge NO. We arrived around 9:00 pm to dine. I was skeptical about this place as it has a low score compare to the other restaurants in Bellagio, but we don't have much choices because we have a toddler with us and most restaurants do not allow kids under five. That's a bummer. However, to my surprise, the food was delicious and and service was top notch! The ambiance was amazing as we seated near the window so that we can enjoy the fountain show and my son was entertained the whole time. The udon was not on their menu but when I asked the waitress if they have any noodles for kids, she said we have all kind of udon. The food here is really so good and fresh. The Tuna pizza is my favorite thing on the menu. Drinks are also top notch. We had a wonderful server but her wing man was truly the star. George is a kind and diligent worker who truly takes pride in every aspect of customer service. Watching the way he worked and cared about his job was inspiring.
