The view is great. We paid the minimum $125 per person food and beverage spend for a patio table, and while the view was definitely worth it, we didn't love the meal and wouldn't hurry to go back. We had the rock shrimp, which was pretty standard; the gyoza, which was good but served with a tomato-based sauce that didn't belong on the plate; a simple California roll; the surf and turf - steak was overcooked and the wasabi butter was not working with the lobster... sauces here are not a strength. We also ordered a side of potato puree, which was pretty good. But when aren't they? Our dining experience was not made better by the many diners from inside the restaurant coming out to do photo shoots almost constantly. Some parents just let their children come on the patio and hang out I guess so they could have some "mommy/daddy time". I wouldn't have paid for the patio if I knew the view came with babysitting duty. I had high hopes for this restaurant and with the prices they charge I had high expectations as well. The yellowtail serrano was great, tender thinly sliced fish with a bit of spice from the pepper. Paired with the cucumber salad was a nice combo of spicy/tender with sour/crunch from the salad. I was a bit disappointed by the Crispy Kalbi roll, even with the slaw on top there wasn't much a textural element, no crunch as I had expected by the name. Clear soup was pretty standard fare, something you can get anywhere. Our service was good, very formal and stiff, but he made sure everything came out correctly. Ambiance matches the pricing, quite upscale. Located in the Bellagio, you can catch a glimpse of the water show from the dining room which is neat. I wasn't looking forward to this restaurant that my friend picked but I'm so happy she picked it and I went! First of all, the service was above and beyond, (thank you Theo) and you have a great view of the fountains out by the patio, and the food was so delicious! I had the Braised Wagyu Beef Short ribs with such amazing sauce, a lychee martini that was so good I ordered two, and the dessert was so amazing I forgot what it was called but it was like a bananas foster sauce with apple pie sort of thing! So good! My friend loved her yellowtail roll and her Mile High roll. We ordered the Kimchi Brussel Sprouts as well and they were just ok. A beautiful dinner spot. Yellowtail is located inside the Bellagio and is stunning. It is one of those places that feels upscale while still feeling very intimate. I had a bit of an unconventional (but still nice) experience at Yellowtail. My friends and I had a reservation for a Saturday evening. Like many of the restaurants on the Strip, there is a missed reservation fee of $25 per person. It was just my luck that we were running late. When we realized we would not make it in time, we tried giving them a call a few times but received no answer. We ended up being just over 30 minutes late, hoping that there was a chance we would still have a table. To our surprise, we were still kindly offered a table. The host said that the original table we booked in the dining room was no longer available but that we could be seated in the lounge (the front of the restaurant that faces the casino). We were grateful to even be given a spot so we accepted the offer and took a seat. This spot is dark, moody, and very ambient. It definitely feels classy. Sitting facing the casino felt a bit awkward and like we were in all the action. We directly faced one of the main walking paths to the other restaurants. In a way, it's nice to have some people watching, but of course, a view of the Bellagio fountains would have been to die for. The table setup was super cute. The napkins and chopsticks were adorable yet classy. First, we ordered the Lychee Martinis. They were super good. The flavor was not too overpowering. It was perfectly sweet and had a flower perfect for some photos. By the time the drinks were brought out, we realized we would not have time to order a full meal. It was very busy and the wait for just the drinks was quite long. We sipped our drinks for a while before one of the waitresses stopped by and said that, in order to sit in the lounge, we would need to order food. So, we ordered the Salmon Tiradito appetizer. The portion was quite small (and of course pricey) for three people. It was very light and refreshingly. I personally was not a huge fan of the flavor but I could tell that it was very high quality. Third time here and still really enjoyed it. Brought some out of town coworkers as they were wanting sushi. Reservation is recommended. As we were walking from the hostess to our table in the back area, my coworker was loving the ambience. As we were approaching our table, you can see the Bellagio fountain. What an amazing view. My bf and I came here and had such a memorable experience. We had a reservation for around 8:30pm and although there was a little bit of a wait, it honestly wasn't an issue for us. We had requested a window seat, and the host was super friendly and let us know there would be a wait. It ended up being completely worth it because we were seated outside on a private balcony. Just the two of us at a single table with a perfect view of the Bellagio fountains. Such a special moment. Our server was also amazing. This place is FANTASTIC! so much so that I went twice while in Vegas for work. The staff was friendly and very accommodating! They had a dedicated gluten free menu which was nice. The one problem here is that I ordered a roll on both visits and they were made differently so I do suspect that one of them was prepared normally not GF which is unfortunate and thankfully I don't have severe allergies. However the staff was very accommodating and great with suggestions. Now onto the food. I ordered: - miso - salmon sashimi - ebi sushi - a specialty roll from the GF menu - Atlantic black cod Miso was skippable honestly nothing special and I wouldn't get it again. The sushi was so fresh and delicious with the exception of the GF consistency I mentioned before. The STAR of the meals was the Atlantic black cod. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! so good that this is the dish that brought me back a second time. The miso flavoring was so well done!! If you come here I highly recommend this dish. The ambiance is great if you are seated by the fountains. If you're out front it's not the best being so close to a casino entrance it kills the vibes a bit. Sitting at the bar is an option but it does get crowded quickly and when I sat there that's when I suspect I had the roll that wasn't correctly prepared because the bartenders are managing so many different tabs and orders. The roll pictured has a glaze that was left off when I was at a table with a very attentive server who had the roll remade when it was originally made with a non GF sauce according to her. Yellowtail used to be good back in the day but this visit just fell flat. Service was great but how dare you serve stale rice with sushi. It was not fresh, nor warm and I basically ate sashimi. The server was nice enough to send a dessert however - old rice is a huge NO. We arrived around 9:00 pm to dine. Even if it was close to closing you should never falter on food - especially at those prices. Huge disappointment & there are way too many options to eat bad, expensive food. The YellowTail Sushi and the Big Eye Pizza (I'm old school - the original name) are the best. Carbone Riviera's versions weren't close to be honest, but their Salmon was delicious. Back to YellowTail, the Old Fashion, always my drink there, has a new twist and it is even better. Keep the new recipe. We selected Yellow Tail to celebrate our 46 year anniversary. We live here in LV and have eaten at Yellow Tail many times. The food and service quality was a 10 out of 10 as we have experienced in our other visits. Miska was our server and did an incredible job taking our order and frequently following up to make sure our evening experience was excellent. I was skeptical about this place as it has a low score compare to the other restaurants in Bellagio, but we don't have much choices because we have a toddler with us and most restaurants do not allow kids under five. That's a bummer. However, to my surprise, the food was delicious and and service was top notch! The hostesses are wearing strange skimpy outfits, but inside the place is very upscale and fancy, and the male servers are dressed up. So the hostess did not fit the rest of the vibe of the restaurant. You can pay extra to sit outside and watch the water show. There is a per person minimum. We could still slightly see the water show from our table inside. We really enjoyed the yellowtail Serrano and the cucumber salad. I did feel the prices were a bit steep especially paying $11 for a clear onion soup. The service was prompt, but also a bit stiff. They didn't have much of a personality. I got a bottle of wine and they kept it chilled and put away and they would have to come and refill it. Unfortunately, you're paying more for the ambiance and experience than the food itself. For the same cost $600+, or even less, you can find comparable -- if not better -- flavor and quality over on Spring Mountain Road. The Michelin pedigree, sadly, doesn't come through in the dishes.
