    Small Caesar Salad
    Connie H.

We passed by catch a fire pizza on a Saturday night so we decided to try it. We were kind of set off on the wrong foot because their parking lot is very small and hard to navigate and it didn't help that there was a jerk that as we had our turn signal on to pull into a spot flew in front of us and cut us off to take it. Anyway, that's not the restaurant's fault. We were sent right away. The restaurant is very cute and looked very clean and well kept. I had a small Caesar salad that night and it was very fresh. Croutons were good.

    Hand tossed deliciousness!

I've been wanting to try Catch a Fire for several years after seeing it pop up on multiple "Best Pizza" lists in Cincinnati, and it didn't disappoint. We stopped in for lunch on Super Bowl Sunday and were quickly seated in the bar area with good view of the TVs. Our server suggested some pizza options and answered our questions helpfully and thoroughly. Our pizza came out within 10 minutes piping hot and was amazing! Perfect char on the bottom with a generous amount of cheese and toppings. Looking forward to returning when it's warm outside to enjoy the outdoor patio.

It was a decent enough experience. The pizza was good, but I just have an issue with the fact that there are no kids menu options. Our waitress took quite some time when there was only 3 to 4 other parties in the restaurant and another weight staff helping as well Or do you want to come back and try out the trivia night, which looks wildly fun We did enjoy the igloos which was a cool experience. Stayed decently warm but I would suggest wearing a couple layers if you choose to do this!

My lady and I became fans of Catch-a-fire when they had a place inside Madtree Brewing. That's no longer there now, and we were missing the place, so we decided to check out this location for a fix. Glad we did because I think we enjoyed it even more. Excellent pizza, great selection of libations, and awesome service from our server Ashley. We rolled in on a Friday evening and the place was pretty busy but we were still say right away. The place looks very relaxed and laid back. There's plenty of seating at the bar area and all around. There's a good amount of outside seating too and they do the snow globe seating during winter too. The menu is a bit bigger than I remember from Madtree with lots of options for pizza, pizzadillas (quesadillas with pizza toppings), salads, wings, starters, and more. They also have a great drink menu with beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and mocktails. My lady and I started with a glass of Chianti, a pint of Madtree Seeing Colors, and an order of jalapeno popper potato skins. Those potato skins are ALWAYS great! As for our pizzas, my lady got the Mr. Brown, and I got the Rebel Ranch, both 10". Since the pizza kitchen is very close by, we were watching the cooks toss the dough around, making all the pizzas. We hardly waited long at all before both were ready and even better than we remembered from at Madtree. Of course, we had another round of libations, same as the first round. Our server, Ashley, was super friendly and very attentive. One of the best servers we've had in a while I'd say. And speaking of libations, they even have bottles of wine and packs of beer to go, and at excellent prices. Excellent pizza spot! To think, this business started from a food truck, and grew into one of the best pizza places in Cincinnati. I think my lady and I will always be fans.

We went for the first time for Cincinnati pizza week. They had two specials going on for this location. They were featuring the one love Pizza and the potato heads pizza. Both were only $10 for the Cincy pizza week!! The one love pizza is your classic cheese pizza, it had a stringy pull and with red pepper flakes, it was really good! The potato head pizza was our favorite, the crust was really crispy, and it had ranch on it, which we really enjoyed. It is something we would re-order again in the future! We also tried one of their crafted sodas, just a regular cola. It was really good As well. Our service was great, everything seems really clean and the space is a lot bigger than I thought it was

We've had this pizza at madtree several Times and finally had a chance to stop in for the full service restaurant experience. We'll be back! Our server Patricia was fabulous! She was quick witted and funny, knowledgeable about the menu, had great recommendations and took great care of us. We arrived on a busy Saturday to a short wait. We ordered cocktails and waited in the bar area. The restaurant isn't huge but tables seemed to turnover quickly and they kept service moving. The dining room has some tables and booths. We were at a table in the center of the room and still felt cozy. We enjoyed our appetizers, salad, and pizzas and had great drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Vegan Vibes pizza -- the menu calls for cheese shreds, but they subbed in Mad Cheese FreshElla. So good!

I stopped here for the first time -- and between the friendly service and the vegan options, it looks like I have a new favorite option for local pizza! I ordered the Vegan Vibes pizza. It ranked among the best vegan pizzas I've had in Cincinnati between multiple plant-based proteins and a nice heat from the BE-Hive sausage (which I think is technically their chipotle chorizo). My husband tried the Cherry Oh Baby, which is listed as Catch-a-Fire's signature pizza. He liked it, but the cherries got a little too sweet for him. I'm curious about the Pizzadilla, and they have create-your-own options with vegan toppings. So I'll be back soon to check that out.

We arrived before the dinner rush and stayed a couple of hours. Waiter was super nice and helpful when selecting our pizzas. Ambiance was good but the parking lot was cramped.

One of my favorite pies! First time at the restaurant, not my first having the pizza. Every time - it's a bit. Experience at the actual restaurant was good, staff was pleasant and tentative. We had 2 pizzas and 2 drinks. In & out in an hour half despite them being very busy - we didn't even have to wait on a table. The kitchen is open which is cool, makes the vibes enjoyable.

This was a good end to wing week for me! These would fall as my number 2 choice. For flavor and cooked temperature, this is a pizza place but they know why i was here! Lol , anyway the service was slow and it looked to be one server on the floor and the bartender. So nothing against them , but they were under staffed. I had the garlic parm, and the bleu cheese was top tier! Nothing like a nice fried wing. The restuant sits on kenwood road but you enter from the back. Slow down or you'll miss it . I hope they get better staffed.

I was in Cincinnati a few weeks ago and made my way to catch a fire pizza for dinner. They have a a bunch of different options to choose from and the food quality was excellent. l ended up going with their Italian meatballs as an app, which has basil oil, ricotta and focaccia. These were very tender and tasted great. The focaccia was a nice compliment to the dish as well. For my main course, I went with their Three Little Pigs pizza, which had pepperoni, Italian sausage and prosciutto. It also had a four cheese blend, and I chose to add bacon per the chef's recommendation. This pizza was delicious as it was packed with flavor and everything tasted fresh. The crust was cooked perfectly and it kept me coming back for more. This is easily another place that I would revisit based on my experience. The staff was attentive and the food was great. Check them out if you are ever in the area.

    Chef's Choice salad to go
    Mark R.

Stopped in for a quick lunch but was not able to order the pizza, 20-25 minute wait so I ordered a Chef's House salad to go. At first site, I thought it was a bit on the small side but did fill me up. Wishing for more chicken though. They did toss in the dressing which I prefer and she gave me a bit extra just in case. I really wanted to try their cauliflower crust pizza but was not able to make it back for another visit. Dining room seemed nice and clean with multiple types of seating areas including soft seating.

Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)

It's across the street from Silverton Cafe and Italianette Pizza. Occupancy maximum-49. Stepped in and was greeted by the bartender. She was super sweet and waited on us right away! Decor: Vintage and Nostalgia galore!!!! LOVE it!! Old vintage beer/neon beer signs everywhere and loved that there was a telephone booth across from of the bar! There is also a pool table and touch jukebox to play music. Also, there is at least three wide screen televisions to watch sports. Love the setup of the bar (full service bar, selling top shelf brands as well.) They do accept credit cards, but must be a minumum of $10.00 purchase. The whole joint and even the bathrooms are clean. Usually bars have that stinky mildew smell, not this place! Now for the best part!!! Alcohol is cheap and reasonable!! YAY!! For $17.75 (we watched the entire Bengals game) we got: -Pitcher of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer -Coors light bottle -My husband got two more Pabst beers (on tap) -Hudy Delight on tap At the time, customers brought in food for pot luck because they were celebrating a friend's birthday. The bartender told us we can helped ourselves. That was awfully nice. We definately dove in and enjoy the appetizers. Usually on Sundays they have pizza. Besides Sidelines in Norwood, this will is now my favorite go to bar. Everyone was so generous, great vibe/atmosphere and felt welcomed. Definately check this bar out! I really appreciated the old school decor!

Every time I go, the drinks are consistent and well-balanced, and they don't skimp. I usually pop in for a quick happy hour with friends or former coworkers, and it's perfect for that. The worst part: we each requested a coffee refill (one was never offered), and our server poured half of my friend's topped up coffee directly from her cup into my cup! I was so shocked that I was speechless. To top off this incredible faux pas, she split the check into two without asking, and I was treating my friend. Instead of bringing a new check as I requested, she had me sign her tablet that just showed the total, with no breakout, had me fill in her tip, and then walked away with neither asking me if I wanted a receipt, which of course I did, nor providing me with one.
