The campground is well run, clean, and the staff is super friendly. The cabin itself was small compared to some of the other cabins in the Dells, but for the price and experience is unbeatable. We got the full rustic experience of living in a log house in the woods while having amenities like a stove, refrigerator, AC, etc. They had a nice pond where one could paddle boat or canoe and one night they even had a Christmas in the Summer theme where they paraded around campground with Christmas lights in golf carts, reindeers ! The Lodge is a beautiful log cabin, it's very clean, seems to be well maintained. It has comfortable beds, all bedding, and a fully stocked kitchen. The internet works well, and it's so quiet and dark at night that we all slept great! There is plenty of room for our whole family. The only suggestion I'd make is to add mirrors to the bedrooms to help getting ready easier since the only mirror is in the bathroom. A friendly property manager stopped by during our most recent stay to let us know about the firewood for the fire pit. We really appreciated this, though we didn't have time to use it. We'd definitely recommend this place for a comfortable, hassle-free stay!

We sat on the porch with out dog and played cards, walked around the property. The have a small lake that is aerated and clean with a small sandy beach perfect for small kids. It was very relaxing. The kitchen has all of the pans and utensils you will need. We used the bbq grill and made steaks one night. We went into the Dells one day and found a dog friendly restaurant called The Grateful Shed. One of a kind place for sharing lunch and a cocktail inside or out with your dog. Highly recommend. There's holes in the doors, weather strips to the front door missing with gaps big enough for mice! The layout is so bazaar, line when your 12 and have a sleep over and push everything together to build a fort! They say they renovated the whole place, but these rooms have clearly remained unchanged for decades. The beds themselves feel like blocks with basic training sheets and blankets. If you did not serve and therefore are unaware of how that feels...think dusty sandpaper. We are only here for two nights or I would dip and stay at literally any other motel. My favorite part was when we checked in and the "concierge" pleaded to us to just not break the furniture...that's not a good sign! This hotel is for you if plan to get wasted and use the room to crash...but my guess is it's a safe bet to leave the blacklights off!

It would be nice if the store was open a little later for ice and such but not that big a deal really. Firewood was available about 1/2 mile down the road. Our granddaughters are having a nice time and have met new friends. This is good family camping. No frills, but fun and safe. Close to the Dells but not too close. We will definitely make the longer drive to come back here over closer places nearer our home. I booked because of the price, the pool, and the fair cancellation policy. I am so glad we came!

It is under new ownership, since 2014 and the new owners are remodeling and revamping the place.Some of the staff is new to camping but they are people people, so it all works out in the end. It has some of the lowest rates in the area even though the campground is 2.5 miles from Downtown Dells. The facilities are kept clean and the staff is quick to respond when an incident occurs. I highly recommend this place.

The lady said she would have the maintenance there by 830. We came back from the pool at 9 and i noticed there were sand fleas all over the bathroom sink. they were crawling all over our belongings. I called the lady to tell her about the bugs and ask about the ac and she said the guy had already left. She came to my room and I showed her the sink so she said she would move me to 324. But that bathroom sink was even worse with the fleas. she said they get them a lot because they are so close to the water. I told her that was disgusting and if they are aware of this issue they should do something about it. she moved us to the hotel. so at this point it was past 10 pm and myself and my two kids had to move all of our belongings . I did try to get ahold of a manager to discuss this and was given the run around numerous times. I was even told the only manager they have is at the Vue hotel so I drove there. the supervisor there was snippy with me and she told me to talk to the supervisor at aloha. but every time I went to the front office I was told there wasn't one available. On a positive note, they give you free tickets to the zoo and you get in free to land of natura which was so much fun. so if your gonna book a stay make sure it's at the hotel part. The 2 pools were nice and there's two hot tubs.

(There are so many little towns around there to go antiquing in and an Amish trail, too!) Saturday morning this is a typical stop for locals having pie (four types) and ice cream. We had a wonderful talk with a young couple and their little 15 month old with beautiful blue eyes and big smile. Such a beautiful to stay and great food. We will be back!

We had cheese broccoli soup, slaw salad and a chicken sandwich. Everything was very good. The soup was low salt, most soup have way too much salt. The slaw salad had cabbage, kale and Brussels sprouts with a light dressing. Chocolate cake was included but we were so full that we refused. With coffee the meal was six dollars.
