Glad I didn't read the reviews before coming here but it seems they made some improvements…read more We tired out the Discovery package for the timeshares as we didn't want to keep it and have to deal with the hassle of having one for the rest of our lives. This package actually worked out great! The amount of points we had left to use before our 2 years ended didn't leave us many options so we ended up here. We weren't too thrilled because of the reviews and felt the same way when we pulled up and saw we were basically staying in what looked like a Super 8 from the outside. We both said "oh great, this stinks" lol we felt duped. Once inside we were actually pleasantly surprised. Bedroom was a little small and warm, the window was in the front so it's where everyone walks by to get to their room. That part was not great so we just kept the curtains closed. Bathroom wasn't bad, the jetted tub was very small, barely enough room for one person lol. We've been spoiled with some amazing tubs in places we've stayed so this was disappointing to us but I'm sure it wouldn't be disappointing for everyone. Unit had a washer and dryer with a full kitchen. Small dining area, fireplace, and a balcony with a great view. I live in the city so it was so peaceful to me and I loved just staring outside and watching the ducks! Overall, our room was clean and it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

The water right outside is so calm and relaxing, and we've loved just sitting out there and enjoying it. Tracy and Cal are the best hosts! We ended up hanging out with them our first night, and they are seriously the sweetest people. We came here for a getaway and feel like we made new friends, too. The domes are beautiful and so clean, and the restrooms and gathering house are just as nice. You can tell how much care they put into this place. We're already saying we need to come back with our kids next time! We've loved every minute and would absolutely recommend staying here!

Well, that initial review was not fake, and neither is this one hahah with that being said, two years later and we finally made it back! Just like last time, Cale and Tanya were fantastic hosts and we had a blast! The igloos were awesome just as we had remembered and have even improved since last time we stayed! New to us this time around, our group spent some time playing games in the "communal" igloo right outside of the gathering house. It was super cool and cozy, especially at night when the lights made for a nice ambiance. It was plenty warm as well We had 6 people in there and, while it was a little tight, ultimately it was super cool and a lot of fun! We can't wait to visit again, hopefully next time in the summer or fall so we can explore the trails and the river right on the property! Thank you Cale and Tanya!

The room was clean and staff were nice. Nothing fancy and much nicer than the other hotel I stayed at on that strip during a different visit. The sheets were scratchy and smelled heavily of detergent, but they were clean and that's the most important part. The towels were perfectly absorbant & felt nice. 5 stars because the price was right and it was so pleasant and inexpensive that we decided to stay an extra night.

We also have relatives nearby that come stay to make it a large family affair. The boys really love this place. The numerous water parks are all great. The arcade area is good for half a day. The food venues are all good and the evening visits for frozen yogurt is a must. Rooms are getting a bit dated but well maintained and more than acceptable for our needs. Plenty of parking. There is so much to do and see in the area, this makes for a great home base location.

We couldn't decide out of the two experience which one to do so we did a double feature. We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

You can use the grills for free and there is plant of space for a group to have a party or to just kick back and relax. Rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable. I had a single king bed and it pretty much took up the entire room. So I would choose this hotel if space is a need. (There is a desk area if you need to do some work). They do allow pets and I heard some barking, even in my room, but nothing at night.

I think she realized she was being rude and changed her tone after seeing that we were apologizing and being kind. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself and I would still recommend! There are 4 cottages all with the same layout. Each cottage has a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a fireplace, full kitchen complete with a gas range. In the center of each, there is a one bedroom suite with a room exclusively for the hottub and a small kitchen. It is rented as either a two bedroom (either end of the cottage), three bedroom (an end and the center one bedroom), five bedroom (the entire cottage). It is a timeshare. It can be rented out. We have stayed there at least five times. It is peaceful there even with the construction going on. They recently renovated to make more modern.

I noticed on the website right away that sundara had construction going on. So when I called to reserve I asked right away exactly How the construction would affect our stay. They assured me that where we were going to be staying they wouldn't be working and that all the work was being done on the way opposite side of the resort. So I went Ahead and gladly paid $577 for my over night stay and couples massage. The room was awsome and the massages were great! But then to get woken up at 7:30am with loud banging literally right next door was frustrating. I think it's great your trying to imprOve and expand but then be honest with me and I would have waited to spend my $577 when the construction was over. My friend works construction everyday and took today (Monday) off of work to get away and relax with me and we dealt with it the whole time. Also I think it's pretty unsanitary to have the breakfast food literally NEXT to rooms that are being worked on. I could see dust coming from a room very close to wear all the fruit and other food was laying out.
