We loved our stay at your resort! The house was located close to the restaurant, pools, and playground. Since we had 4 young kids with us, it was wonderful to be so close! The house was immaculate! This is my second time staying at Spring Brook Resort and everything is nice. I love the no contact check in and out it really saves time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a home like feeling. The kitchen is stock with Eve you will need to prepare your meals for your family you just bring your food. The beds are comfortable with plush pillows. If you have little kids they have a park within walking distance. My grandkids really enjoyed the park. Found a great home for our family weekend--our children, their spouses, and grandchildren (ages 5 to 16), a total of 18 people. The game room was a hit, as was the indoor pool at the aquatic center, a short walk away. Evening at the fire pit was great for smores. Plenty of room for people to find their own quiet spaces to relax. Office staff works nights and weekends, and quickly resolved a minor shortage of dishwasher soap and TP. read more

This is my 4th time taking a family vacation here. It's always been very pleasant. The only complaint across the board is the lack of cleanliness of the homes. All the air vents are riddled with dark thick dust, the walls/carpets/curtains have obvious stains (cleanable), cobwebs everywhere, sticky floors, dings in the wall, falling off molding, loose shower curtains & shower heads... all fixable issues. The Main Resort Building itself is very pleasant. The pool area is always clean, and has nice staff. read more

Could've easily been 5 stars. Had a 3 bedroom and 1 bedroom lodge in Cedar Woods building. Very spacious. Overall, clean. Very nice overall and I was impressed. Everything was nice inside room and had washer and dryer and kitchen. Sports bar and grill is really good. There's a playground that's nice and a pool also. All were enjoyed and appreciated. It's close to all the attractions but feels secluded. If you play golf, then you're in luck too. Looks like a nice course. Unfortunately, there were just a few details and a major operating system flaw that were frustrating. Our unit had so much dust on ceiling fan, I'm sure it's never been cleaned. Dust on both sides of the blade. Couldn't use it for fear of how much would fly off. For some reason, outside door has about an inch or inch and half opening at bottom. Door leads to hall and then outside. Seems odd to me, but I'm not in the business. However, somewhat concerning for bugs or rodents to easily just come into unit if they get through outside door. And not sure when outside doors are supposed to lock (have a key card slide to open) , but they were open without a card needed around 11pm. Lastly, we were supposed to have a king bed in our room of the three bedroom (larger room), but the layout was different and larger room had two double beds. So we had to sleep separately (needed larger room due to baby / toddler in there). This would be ok, except one of the mattresses made you sink so far down it was hard to get out. All of that is not a huge deal. What is, is having an emergency, after hours number to call for assistance and never returning the phone call. Key cards stopped working for our one bedroom unit (probably because son put it by a credit card). Called the emergency number around 1020pm and left message for Mira. Waited and called back multiple times. Then called main number and the message gave an extension to reach maintenance. Same thing. Left voicemail, called back repeatedly, no response. Thankfully, the security guy saw us checking doors at bar around 11pm to see if anyone over there and used master key to let us in for the night until we could get new keys in morning. You cannot have an emergency number listed and not operate it as advertised - especially at the price of the unit. This isn't a cheap motel. Had the security guy not happened upon us, and had we not had another unit, we would've had to get another hotel for the night. Or call police if medications, etc were in room that were needed. Very disappointing and still no follow up call to apologize, despite voicemails and front desk stating they would look into it. With that, I'd definitely stay again, but would make sure keys didn't get close to credit cards or phone read more

First off, I'd like to say my family had a lovely time in the Dells despite the conditions of the home at Springbrook. We rented the Luxurious Ranch Getaway home. When one thinks, "Luxury", what comes to mind? Clean, very comfortable, enjoyable, and top of the line. Unfortunately this home didn't quite meet those standards. We arrived very excited to spend time together on our annual family vacation. It was my first time in the Dells but my family's 3rd time. Three times they chose Springbrook but after this last experience, I don't believe any of us will ever be returning. Let me start with the good. The pool was nice and enjoyable. The wait staff at the Sports bar were nice and attentive after letting them know we were interested in ordering. I did enjoy being off the beaten path of the touristic area of the Dells. The area is serene and we had pleasant experiences with Kathy and Kim. The pictures speak for themselves as for the bad, but I am not sure how a home can get this dirty unless someone just really doesn't care. Where's the deep cleaning checklist? I've stayed in much cleaner Airbnb's. My family and I most definitely left the home cleaner than when we found it. Upon arriving, we saw grease on the stove, grease on the glass cabinetry, ketchup on the wall, bbq sauce on the drawers, dirty base boards, black crud came out of the bathroom whirlpool, not very clean floors that had a smell. Cheap sheets that made us itch. I could go on but I'd rather not dwell on it. Overall the home was a nice space, but it was NOT cleaned well. I'm not sure if the housekeeper/maid is not allowed enough time, if they are short staffed or what exactly is going on, but it was not our intention to have to have an ICKY feeling the entire time. And we most definitely did not go on vacation to deep clean a home. We didn't let it ruin our vacation, but to be treated rudely by a couple staff members on top of that, I'd have to recommend doing business elsewhere. read more

Woow racism is still present every where. Was at this resort and Am an African lady from an African country and was here for holidays with my mixed family from Chicago. Was outside one morning taking out the trash and two bicyclists pass by and they give me that look.... of like what is she doing here. 30 minutes-later Maintenance shows up with a work order that our dish washer is broken and that someone called it in this morning. Haaa, we where all confused because no one did call the main office from our cabin. And wooooow. It doesn't matter if you're rich and educated and can afford whatever you want, as long as you're black in America, you're already profiled as a bad human being. On the other hand, Am gland they called the maintenance than the police. I thank you lord for another day to live. read more

If you are looking to rent a space in Wisconsin Dells, Spring Brook Golf Resort is the place to go! My friend wanted an intimate venue for his bachelor party so the best man figured that all of the grooms friends should head up to Wisconsin for a weekend, rent a house, live it up fraternity house style and have ourselves a rip roaring time!!! The house came with multiple sets of keys, massive garage with driveway and was fully furnished with utensils, stereo, TVs, BBQ grill, foosball table, pool table, and multiple refrigerators. There was a jacuzzi, five bedrooms and we had maybe about a dozen people and half of us took beds and the other half took the floor with sleeping bag. The house was spacious, clean and everything we could have hoped for. One important note - when I left, I accidentally left a backpack with camera gear and other stuff that made me utterly devastated. I called the Spring Brook back and eventually they called to let me know they found it! They even shipped it back to me at no cost with everything in tact. There is nothing better than finding super honest people and great facilities. Don't be afraid now, book your house today! read more

Soo this is not about the golf course at all... We stayed in one of the houses here in January for a weekend get away. We stayed at the big corner cottage and we had a pretty large group. THIS HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLE. Every guest that stayed in this home was fascinated at the size, the decor, and how clean it was. We were able to fit 6 cars (3 Suvs) on the driveway, we had no problems with anything in the house...the only thing that was a bummer is that there is no HD tv...but we made do. There are 2 fridges and 4 tvs...and I think this would be a great house to rent out again for the summer. The clubhouse staff was super friendly and nice, and the pool area was great! There is a kiddie pool too as one of our friends brought their 1 year old son and he had a blast playing in the pool read more

We stayed for a long weekend in March 2014 with friends in the resort owned condo's. We rented a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom on the second floor. The resort is small with mostly private homes that are also available for rent. The grounds are nothing special but I believe do include a golf course. The main lodge is a large log cabin with a bar and grill which was very good! The indoor pool is small but adequate and has a splash pad for kids. The outdoor pool was on the smaller side but also had a splash pad and wasn't bad as there's lots of water parks near by and they also offer you discount tickets. Our room was very nice, a log cabin feel with fireplace, flat screen TV's in every room. Leather furniture, stainless appliances. The room and lodge were very well kept and clean. The service was really top notch every time we called we got a response right away and they were very helpful. It was really a cute little resort that I would return to! read more

Check-in was suppose to be at 4, we arrived around 230 to see if our cabin was ready. We were told that they'd call us when the cabin is ready before 4. As it was not, we went and purchased some essentials, had lunch--5 o'clock rolls around and it's still not ready. Be prepared for subpar customer service as it didn't seem they wanted us to stay here either. Hopefully our cabin will be ready before bed time. read more

I stayed here for a little girls weekend getaway with 6 friends and had a great experience. The planner of the group and a Dells area native found us a house rental on the resort. I can speak more to the individual house we stayed at rather than the resort as we didn't take advantage of the amenities it provided, but assume the other houses in the resort for rent are similar. The house was on par or cheaper than what a hotel would have been per person and was definitely more comfortable and roomy than a hotel would have been. We all departed Chicago after work and made the drive up to Wisconsin. When we arrived we found that the pictures on the website did not disappoint. The home was nicely furnished, cozy, and comfortably slept all 7 of us. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and such, be was missing some basics, like salt and pepper, that we'll know to bring with us next time. The bathrooms were fully stocked with lots of towels, tp, and soap. The beds were made and comfortable. There was a fireplace that we didn't take advantage of since it was still quite warm outside, but would be key during a winter visit. The living room was There was also a nice deck out back and fire pit which we took advantage of and made smores. I was definitely pleasantly surprise by how nice the accommodations were and will definitely look into staying here the next time I need to get out of the city for a weekend getaway. read more

May the forest be with you: The resort is within 7 minutes from the Dell's and that is great. We rented the unit for 4 th. of July weekend with a total of 6 adults and 2 kids under the age of 2. We walked in the unit and said it looked clean and bright inside. As we started spending time there we started noticing thigs like dust bunny's all over, Food all over the plates and pans, the master bedroom mattress had more waves in it then the water park wave ride, nails sticking out all over the siding ( kids could get cut on them ), Grass was long so trying to do a fire in the pit just brought out the mosquitoes, The grill needed cleaning before we could consider using, a lot of light bulbs out, the furniture looked like it was from a garage sale and very worn. The picnic table was broken, sharp metal down spouts that was just thrown in the vent wells around the house. This place looked like it needed to be maintained and not just rented to get every penny they can out of it. We asked for 3 sets of keys got 2 sets with 2 keys on each ring and 1 set with only one key. My son had to go back to the house and the key did not work so we had to leave the event we where at to let him in. When we got there we noticed the keys and called right away and left a message on the office answering machine ( 4:05 pm ) the message said that they would call us back never happened. Went to pro shop to get fire wood and they had a sign that said pay at the bar. Went to the bar and was told they don't do anything for the pro shop. A waitress over herd my conversation and said that we need to go to the rental office to get fire wood. Got there and the lady said $6.42 for a bundle here is the key get it yourself then bring the key back to me. So much for customer service!!! The contract on the table in the rental unit said we have to clean all dishes empty the dishwasher, remove all trash, put all towels in the bath tub, empty the refrigerator, and the place must be as clean as you received it. The funny thing they had a envelope to tip the maids. ( so I did I took my wife and myself out for ice cream. At over $625 dollars a night I would at least expect a good night sleep in a bed that had good mattresses and better customer service. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was because of location to the dells. read more

We stayed in the Deerfield hideaway - although roomy - there were quite a few issues making it less than ideal. - basement had dehumidifier going that made it extremely dry down there. After one night of sleeping each person had cough and sore throat - had to turn dehumidifier off and BUY a humidifier - an hour after dehumidifier was off the basement began smelling musty and mildew. So was obviously being used to cover smells.  -master bathroom- open windows with raised shower so any neighbor can see right in as someone is showering- no way to cover windows to prevent this.  - thick black mold around all jets in master bath - jets did not work - mold on outside of jets- we had to deep clean the tub before using( since we couldn't use the shower without being seen) - the photo of the house makes it seem it is in a secluded quiet area- it doesn't show that it backs up to a busy road. Was loud at times and kids couldn't play in wooded area with fear of cars coming through.  - extra blankets in closets were dirty so we had to wash before we could use them.  -floors were in general dirty- all of our socks were black by the end of our first night there.  - dog food and dog hair found under and around master bed and in living room. * Basement bath tub does not drain water and have to stand in several inches of dirty water while showering  * A basement bedroom closet door was completely off the sliding joint i.e. couldn't shut the closet door * Roku remote in basement is slightly broken, sticky controls make it difficult to navigate  * At least one remote did not have batteries  * In general a large home that worked fine for  a family get together but the place is clearly showing age and that it's used as a vacation home (many door handles and hinges squeak, sometimes doors don't shut flush, dining area was quite cold, house in general not cozy or home feeling.) read more

I had the same experience with the person checking us in and she was not friendly at all. The resort is beautiful. Nice swimming pools and the Sports-bar had awesome food! The house had major issues. The carpet was disgusting with stains everywhere...pet urine on the carpet in the master bathroom. Nice layout and setup but needs major updates. The fireplace had a CO2 leak...water heater went our over the weekend...fridge was leaking water..the ceiling fans were majorly loose and wobbly. I thought the fan was going to fall off the ceiling. And the light bulbs were burned out everywhere. The maintenance response was quick...however, many of the items were directed to the owner of the home as they did not have authorization to replace items. I understand that directive. However, the management should communicate to the home owner before leasing it again. Think twice before renting #1024 (310 Berry Lane). read more

I found a rental online for a home in Spring Brook. We negotiated directly with the owner and got a great price for a holiday weekend. We rented a 4 bedroom/2 bath log home at the end of Dogwood Lane in this community and had a great time. It's not too Dell-sy, far enough away to see the snowmobilers and not much else. There's a community center within the housing development which has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a health fitness center, internet, arcade, and bar/restaurant. Convenient if you get snowed in or don't want to drive to town. See my other reviews for reasons not to go to town. Nearby is a walmart that although I try to avoid these places, is convenient for stocking up food and drink. Overall, Spring Brook is a great rental home community set back in the woods and perfect for families and couples to get away if they can't afford Colorado. read more

Just had a great low-key bachelorette party weekend here! The houses are spaced far enough apart where you shouldn't really disturb your neighbors unless you're making an effort to do so. Our house was fine, just as described, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen floor did turn everyone's feet black. The grounds and facilities were very nice. The house we rented was nice but lacked adequate cooking utensils. My biggest complaint was the check in process. Check in was at 4pm but the residence wasn't ready until 5:30pm. For the price of the rental home I expected the residence to be ready. They did offer a gift card to the sports bar. While the resort and homes were very nice, the customer service and support was horrendous. My family had booked the Tuesday and Wednesday before thanksgiving, and had been told upon arrival that we would be able to have a late checkout on thanksgiving because we were all heading home after our meal. My aunt told them she would just pay for Thursday night to make sure we were able to stay, but a man who works there named Eddie told her not to worry about it because no one had the house after us, and that he would put a note in their system that said we were to have a late checkout. The day before we arrived we called to make sure everything was set as we thought it was, and they said it was. When we showed up the following day we were told we'd have to be out by 9am on thanksgiving because it was a quick turn around(someone is checking into the house the same day we're checking out). After a mild argument with the lady at the front desk, who's name escapes me but seemed to be in her 40's or 50's with short reddish blonde hair , said she'd call us in an hour or two with a resolution. When she called, she was not only incredibly rude, but tried to make it my aunts fault. I found this very disrespectful because clearly it wasn't my aunts fault, this is the exact situation she wanted to avoid. I can't even remember the lady apologizing. If I ever return to the dells I'll find somewhere else to stay. read more

I took a group of about 18 people and stayed in the Champagne Chalet. It was wonderful! The houses were a little close together but we couldn't hear our neighbors or be heard (as far as I knew). The house was huge and had plenty of space for 18 people (even for sleeping!). The clubhouse people were lovely and personable, especially Jen. On our last night we made time to eat at the Resort's Bar and Grille. They were busy in the bar but dead in the dining room so we figured it would be relatively quick service. We had made reservations for 10 of us at a bar table. We were 8 minutes late and the waiter scolded us and said he almost gave our table away. He was very short with all of us and it took him 30 minutes to even ask for our orders and an additional hour for our food, which ended up being cold! We are a younger group (21-24) so we are pretty used to being treated with a little less respect at restaurants, but this was just ridiculous. He was rude, disrespectful and very slow. He put us all in a very bad mood and wouldn't split the bill for us because he didn't have time. So Tim, if you read this, I'm sorry you're a very sad little man but that doesn't mean you have to be so rude to nice respectful young adults. This experience is the only reason I deducted a star from the rating. Everything else was great and we will definitely be back next winter! It was an amazing place to stay for the price it was at.
