We loved the energy here. Mark who runs All Star is a gem. We ended up here because we were traveling with our pooch and All Star is dog friendly. For the money for a dog-friendly place, it's a good value. Mark is a self-proclaimed lover of tourist-y things which makes him a great person to ask for recommendations. We ended up having a really special weekend and meeting Mark and experiencing the Inn was a wonderful part of that. read more

We were looking for a family friendly and dog friendly hotel in Wisconsin Dells for a family weekend getaway. The hotel was much nicer than we expected and price was very reasonable. The price included our tickets to the Kalahari theme park and a great coupon book to local attractions and food. The grounds were clean with a play ground, game room, and each room had a patio set. The only thing I could recommend for change is to use all white linens. There is also a $20 pet fee that we had no problem paying with a reasonable and quality room. We will definitely be returning and bravo Mark for exceptionally kind and professional. read more

The reviews are correct, this is a great place to stay. Right price, pet friendly, very friendly and courteous staff. The king room that we had was spacious. The rooms had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and flat screen tv. The room was nicely renovated and the heaters in the room were QUIET. Not like those obnoxious blowers in 99% of hotels out there. Just make sure you bring a hair dryer with you if you stay here. Glad I read the reviews about that otherwise I would've had to go get one. read more

This was our fourth stay at this motel. We had never been here during 4th of July before. We found it a very calm and relaxing alternative to expensive, crowded, and loud festivals. The fireworks are visible from the property's front lawn, and there are first-come-first-served grills with picnic tables alongside. My son especially loves the basketball hoop, but my favorite is the cornhole-beanbag boards available in the "front yard" area. The beds are comfortable, and the pillows are in very new condition. All Star is a dependable, clean, and "chill" place to get away for a few days. It's an overused phrase, but when you stay at this place - you're family. read more

I booked 5 rooms for me and my family this week and I can only say positive things about this place. All of the rooms were cleaned daily! the property is well taken care of. I loved the fact that they also have a mini pool for toddlers. My baby enjoyed it! the manager, Mr. Smith, is very attentive. He and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. This used to my favorite hotel to stay when visiting Wis Dells, I'm very disappointed that they charge 20 per night for your dog! When they didn't before I guess just because you get the stars you lose humility even for businesses. How sad! We stayed here for one night while visiting with family in Wisconsin. The hotel allows dogs, which is a must for my dad and step-mom. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the pool to chat, and there are chairs and tables outside of every room. The bathroom in our room was remodeled. The All Star Inn provides a good value, close to the main street in the Dells. read more

We are a travel baseball team (14U) and were trying to get rooms in a hotel/motel in the Wisconsin Dells without breaking the bank of our parents. We went to many sites to review motels. Our criteria were: clean, comfortable, not more than moderately priced and associated with a water park. We contacted BlackHawk Motel which met all of these criteria, but they did not have the number of rooms for our team. They told us about their sister motel (All Star Value Inn) which they just purchased and were renovating and would be open soon. We contacted All Star and booked our stay. Mark and Rachel Smith are the resident managers and they are incredibly accommodating. They helped our team make the arrangements and were flexible with our times for making the reservations. We were very pleased with our rooms. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place (I don't think that luxury exists in the Dells). The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy (two queens) and there was a flat screen TV, fridge and microwave in each of the rooms. One of the rooms had a problem with the AC and they fixed it right away. What was really great with the site was that the boys had a great time playing on the grounds. They had a heated swimming pool with a diving board (9feet to 3 feet), a soccer field with a net, basketball hoop, volleyball court and tether ball court (all balls provided by the motel). There was plenty of parking. Seats were present so that one could sit out on the walkway between the rooms (which the parents did and enjoyed a beer or two after our games). The hotel is at one end of Broadway so it is not in the middle of the fray. Also, what was incredible was that we got access to two water parks (Noah's Ark and Chula Vista) for each of the three days that we were there (two nights: got access also on the day of departure). Noah's Ark was an outdoor park with GREAT Rides for our teen boys (I also enjoyed it as well). We did not make it to Chula Vista. Mark and Rachel and their staff were very helpful and courteous when we were there. They were great hosts. I have no doubt that when we return to the Dells, we will come to All Star Value Inn. They are continuing to work on renovating some additional rooms and making this a great gem for people looking for a good Value in the Dells read more

I wanted to say how great this place is. We stayed at the All Star Value Inn Wisconsin Dells and it was so clean & comfortable, very roomie. It is everything that you would want as a home away from home. I looked into other resorts I even made a reservation at another place without reading reviews first. When I started to read the reviews I had to cancel because of the reviews stating not such a clean place. I came across the ads and the reviews for the All Star Value Inn. I was very impressed with the reviews and a little article that was in the Wisconsin Dells book. I decided to make the reservation and cancel the other one due to the fact that it stated how clean and friendly and the place is. The price is right on too.  Mark and Rachel are wonderful they are the managers of the facility. They are very kind very professional very courteous and I love the family oriented atmosphere. I was so impressed with the place I know I will be coming back. My children which I had for boys from the ages of 9 to 16 with me loved it as much as I did. They have a basketball court, volleyball court,  pool, & game room. At first I was concerned cuz I didn't have a basketball or anything for the boys to play with. But the facility provided all of that for them it was great. And it was very nice to know that I can be comfortable with them playing outside. There is plenty of parking. The room I had two queen and  one king and the space was just wonderful.  We had a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffeemaker in the room. As the adult I was able to have my own privacy while the boys had theirs. They made sure that we were all comfortable at all times. The facility was just immaculately clean. I truly am happy with my choice and I even had my 16 year old say "Mom we will have to come back here and stay again because I really like the place!" I told him don't worry we will definitely stay and we will definitely let other people know where to stay when they come to the Dells. This an all star value! 5+ star! read more

have been staying here for several years with family. we were devastated to learn the manager "Mark" was gone. on our last visit we totally felt his absence. the clerk who attended us had no personality at all. yes she did her job but being felt welcomed was gone. we stayed several days, it felt like a ghost town. we went to the office 3 times for one thing or another (simple things) and doors were locked. we couldn't get a hold of anyone. We soon realized the office people were just taking in guest then leaving because they also work at Ambers Inn & Suites. unbelievable. when Mark was there we saw that man up & down on a scooter day & night. working !!!! we always wondered how he did it. we were ALWAYS given special attention and he made sure we had everything we needed. sad that this is not the case anymore. the entire family talked about moving on for our next vacation. we visit the Dells every single summer. we'll miss this place. p.s. garbage in big garbage can sat for over 2 days. fly's all over it. smh. read more

This hotel isn't fancy but it has everything you need and is clean. We went with 5 adults and 4 kids. The room had the standard 2 queen beds and an extra bedroom with a king bed. Just enough room for all of us. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Outdoor pool with splash pad for little kids was perfect! They also have basketball, volleyball, baggo available as well as board games to borrow in the office. Game room was great too. You get a coupon book AND a splash pass (BOGO) with your reservation. And the best part? Your reservation also includes passes for everyone to go to Noah's Ark Waterpark AND Kalahari Indoor Theme Park throughout your entire stay! Definitely worth every penny. So much cheaper than the resorts but you get all of the same perks. On main downtown strip but far enough down away from all of the hustle. Owners live on site and are super nice! read more

Great place to stay. Incredibly clean and comfortable with great service. We stayed in the middle of March, so we didn't get the chance to take advantage of the pool, but they have an arcade and even an interactive game that will have searching the grounds for a little plastic star, your prize for finding the star is the ability to hide the next star with either a photo clue or puzzle clue as to its location. This was a surprisingly good little inn! The bathroom was beautiful with a waterfall shower head that created a spa-like experience. No five star review though because the internet was awful. We got it working one time for a total of 2 minutes. Every other time we tried to connect, it said the password was incorrect. I would only stay here again with the guarantee that the wi-fi wouldn't be an issue. read more

This is our second visit to the All Star this year, we spent a night here back in May. I was surprised to find it just as clean and peaceful in peak season as it was in the off season, despite being pretty full. The staff was just as friendly as last time as well & we took advantage of the free Noah's Ark tickets this time. The bed was so comfortable we both had a great night's sleep. Other great extras include a nice pool, splash pad, jungle gym, volleyball, tether ball, bean bag toss, video arcade with several classic goodies & charcoal grills to use. This is the best place to stay in Wisconsin Dells in my opinion. The package of water park and other and other admissions will allow for unlimited fun during your visit. The fun doesn't end after the water parks since after returning to the inn there are a variety of activities that you can do in the inn's courtyard.Also you can borrow board games from the front desk to have some great family fun. VERY WORTH IT!! The price is unbeatable, and the rooms are well kept, clean and very spacious! And the pools are well maintained and there is also an arcade. It's very close to everything! The only bad part about this hotel is the free wifi does not work, but we didn't care because we didn't go to the Dells to sit on our phones or computers! This place is so cute!!! It's family owned and the customer service was awesome. They owner gets dressed up everyday and rides a scooter around the complex. The room was really nice. Very clean, had a fridge, microwave, and tv. There are plenty of things to do on the premises and it's walking distance from downtown Dell's. Wow! What a great experience. When we checked in, the proprietor gave us a lay of the land, recommended restaurants and coffee shops (all good) and pointed out the amenities of the property like a pool table, bagg-o, board games, etc. The pool wasn't open yet which was fine with us. For my wife and I (and our dogs; they were even great to our dogs!) we were a comfortable walking distance from the main strip in the Dells. This was the first time we stayed in the Dells and I don't know that we'll ever want to stay anywhere else. Great, great experience all around! Thanks guys! read more

This is a great motel for the whole family. It is off the beaten path of downtown but that is what we were seeking. The room was great, no complaints. It also had a small round table with two chairs were we could eat during your stay. Also, appreciated having seating outside since the weather was so nice when we stayed in September. The young lady that was running the desk was very pleasant and accommodating. The little stars running down the parking slots was a very cute detail. The wifi wasn't as strong as we would have liked, but we borrowed board games from the office and spent time talking instead. The management could not have been more accommodating. We haven't actually stayed here yet, but due to a medical issue the manager I spoke with was empathetic and allowed us to cancel our reservations at the last minute. I don't think most places would be so kind or allow us to do this. It helped make the situation much less stressful knowing we weren't going to lose out on our money. We've since re-booked our reservation, partially because we think this is the best deal, but also because of their kind treatment. If we enjoy our stay (which I anticipate we will), we will continue to come back to the All Star Value Inn for future vacations to the Dells. read more
