Cliffside is the up north resort of my childhood. It's the old school-iest in the best way possible. Family run, you'll get gorgeous lake views, many included amenities (sauna, pools, free kayaks, grills, fire pits, GAME ROOM and more) along with impeccably maintained rooms and grounds. We saw eagles and deer and appreciated the quiet - but were minutes away from the Dells madness. Again, everything was spotless (obligatory "sanitized for your protection" toilet ring) - and full of intricate woodwork and thoughtful details. It's like a vacation at your Polish grandmas place. I could not love this place more. Bonus points for the large family group of Poles who started hammering drinks at 8am and kept going hard until quiet time at 11pm. Na zadrowie, y'all.

Sitting area near indoor pool

We had an absolute wonderful stay. The family that runs this little gem is wonderful. The room we had had such a great view right over lake Delton and the pool. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean. We were able to enjoy the outdoor pool before they closed it up for the season. We opened the patio door and used only the screen door while sleeping at night. There was a nice breeze, and it was quiet. You could hear the ducks quacking at 3am. We loved it. So peaceful. We will be back again - for our 4th time.

Cliffside is a great resort to stay at. The people that work here are amazing and feel like family, the resort is beautiful and fun. It's just perfect. We can't wait to go back someday. I loved that they had canoes to use, fire pits and grills to use, great rooms, two super fun pools... thank you cliffside!

My Mother got married here several years ago and we have stayed here a few times since then. Booked our New Years here this year 2021. Always clean and staff is so friendly and willing to get you what you need. Nothing bad to say about this place it is what is advertised.

Family run hotel with an unbelievable view. You're able to watch the Tommy Bartlett water show from the pool side! Docks to the lake are great if you want to fish, rent or bring a boat, and swim in the lake. Although it's an older hotel you can tell they've invested heavily in newer products to make the rooms nicer. The staff does a great job keeping the hotel very clean. Owners are helpful in recommendations around the area too! Cliffside is great, you can hang out all day poolside and relax even though you're in Wisconsin Dells.

If you're looking for a good hotel to get away from the hustle and bustle of Wisconsin Dells Parkway, Cliffside is just the peaceful place. The owners were lovely and polite, who by the looks of their very simple and user friendly website and their reservation system by phone only, they like things simple and easy. Upon arrival, the outside looks like a regular Wisconsin Dells type simple hotel. The decor was fairly outdated (maybe 70s), but it was clean and everything was in working order. The standard rooms with 2 queens were fairly large....for Wisconsin Dells....same size as named hotels. Outdated decor, but it had a clean updated bathroom, comfortable beds, table and two chairs, dresser, night stand with alarm, flat screen tv. The best part was the balcony with an incredible view of Lake Delton where you can even watch the Tommy Bartlett Show from afar. It was so peaceful to sit on the out on the 2 chairs and watch the boaters drive by. The hotel had heated indoor and outdoor pools. My daughter loved the slide at the outdoor pool. We just loved looking out at the lake from the jacuzzi, which was too hot that some kids were able to sit in it. There was plenty of cushioned lounge chairs, a couch swing, picnic tables, and patio set all around. There is a fairly large sauna and a small workout room. There are stairs that take you down right up to the lake. There, they had 3 different spots with picnic tables, lawn chairs, and bonfire pits. They sell boxes of wood for $10 (half a box $5). It was the perfect place to catch the 8:30 Tommy Bartlett Show. This the place to stay if you're not looking to stay in a water park all day, every day. Great price and incredible views. Definitely go for the lakeview room.

Cliffside Resort beaches and hammocks to enjoy!

This is probably the best place I've stayed in the Dells so far. Family owned and operated right on Lake Delton with beautiful views, beaches, pools, and relaxing atmosphere. Close to all major attractions but you feel a world away. Oh and did I mention you get Noah's Ark passes, sweet!

There are 4 cottages all with the same layout. Each cottage has a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a fireplace, full kitchen complete with a gas range. In the center of each, there is a one bedroom suite with a room exclusively for the hottub and a small kitchen. It is rented as either a two bedroom (either end of the cottage), three bedroom (an end and the center one bedroom), five bedroom (the entire cottage). It is a timeshare. It can be rented out. We have stayed there at least five times. It is peaceful there even with the construction going on. They recently renovated to make more modern.

I noticed on the website right away that sundara had construction going on. So when I called to reserve I asked right away exactly How the construction would affect our stay. They assured me that where we were going to be staying they wouldn't be working and that all the work was being done on the way opposite side of the resort. So I went Ahead and gladly paid $577 for my over night stay and couples massage. The room was awsome and the massages were great! But then to get woken up at 7:30am with loud banging literally right next door was frustrating. I think it's great your trying to imprOve and expand but then be honest with me and I would have waited to spend my $577 when the construction was over. My friend works construction everyday and took today (Monday) off of work to get away and relax with me and we dealt with it the whole time. Also I think it's pretty unsanitary to have the breakfast food literally NEXT to rooms that are being worked on. I could see dust coming from a room very close to wear all the fruit and other food was laying out.

The indoor and outdoor pools are absolutely amazing--perfect for kids and adults alike. The outdoor pool has a super fun vibe, and the indoor pool is spotless and a great option for rainy or cooler days, or a night swim. The rooms were super clean -- genuinely well-kept and comfortable. You can tell the staff takes real pride in maintaining the property. Everything felt fresh and inviting. The management is incredibly friendly and responsive. From the moment we checked in with Brad (owner) we felt welcomed. They were happy to answer questions, offer suggestions on local eats and attractions, and really seemed to care about our experience. The location is ideal--just far enough from the hustle of downtown to be quiet and relaxing, but still super convenient to everything Wisconsin Dells has to offer. We were able to walk or take a quick drive to shops, restaurants, and the waterparks. Bonus points for the nostalgic charm of the property--it has that classic Dells feel but is updated and well-maintained. A perfect mix of retro and modern. We'll definitely be back. We came to Wisconsin on 7/3/26 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. One of the things we got…read moretickets for was the Take Flight experience. We couldn't decide out of the two experience which one to do so we did a double feature. We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

We were in search of a place where we could rent the entire property for our wedding and wanted a place where we could offer all of the ages of the family something to do at any given moment. This place delivered!! My best friend and I called this place on a roadtrip because we found it on google and thought it was worth a shot and Chris the owner answered and was so kind and thoughtful that we detoured and stopped to meet him there in the middle of winter. We chose this place because of him and the fabulous, well kept property. We talked with Chris and his wife several times prior to our August wedding and they were patient with our planning process and able to accommodate all of our requests. We cannot thank them enough for the use of the clubhouse and pool! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made our stay truly unforgettable.  Chris and his wife Angie, the staff and property were more than we could have dreamed up! The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a picturesque setting that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere of the Wisconsin River. It was the perfect site for our wedding and family gathering, providing a beautiful backdrop for our special day and ample space for all our guests to relax and enjoy.  The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Our children ranged age 1 - 5 on this trip and we had six adults. We have been to multiple water parks and attractions, our two most recent being Cedar Point Shores and Zehnder's Splash Village. Overall we enjoyed our visits to the waterparks here at Kalahari Wis Dells. We had a weekend pass that also included entrance to Timbavati Wildlife Park. The outdoor waterpark was a decent size, offering the expected attractions as well as nice features like a standard swimming pool. Over our weekend we didn't have any issues finding seating and found amenities like food and drink within a comfortable proximity. Our little ones found a lot of enjoyment in the smallest play area, and inclusions such as the swings over the water helped mix it up. A foam party appeared more than once which was a fun additional activity to enjoy for all ages. Our only criticism of the outdoor park was the pool water was extremely, extremely cold. Typically the outdoor waterparks don't feature heated water but whatever was going on here was super tough to enjoy. The indoor waterpark became our preferred space as the water was warmer and there were more activities for the kids in our group. There was more of a mid-level kids area (our 3, 4, and 5 year olds really enjoyed) here as well as a larger smaller kids (1 year and even the 3-5) area. Us adults enjoyed the swim-up bar and some of the slides. My wife and I found time to do the 'Master Blaster' raft slide which was a quick thrill dropping from the very top of the building. Food options across both parks were plentiful and we were able to find something for everyone. Transitioning between parks was a breeze too, as the entrances to both are just a short hallway walk across from each other. The biggest flaw we noticed between the two parks was the towel situation. Both days towels 'ran out' in the afternoon which I would wager causes guests to check out as many towels as possible in the morning which in turn causes the towels to run out. A vicious cycle that may be a process worth revisiting. Design question - why is the lazy river connected to and passes through the wave pool? The lazy river and the wave pool are contradictory adrenaline levels. Weird. All that action really amplified the amount of people pushing, jumping, splashing, and swimming through the lazy river which really detracts from the experience. The gigantic conference center provided a great refuge to take my youngest on a long stroller nap. The conference space is almost comically large and was completely empty on our trip. The theming was excellent and the area was in great condition. Again, all and all we had a great family trip to both water parks and enjoyed our time on this property.
