Family of 5 here. Late 20's with 3 kids ages 1,2, and 7. This place is absolutely PERFECT if you have toddlers and even young kids. Big rooms with basically a kitchenette, mini fridge, microwave, and hot plate. They even have dishes. There are 3 fire pits one of which by the front is always lit. They also sell a s'mores package for $10 that comes with a cool bucket. The 2 outdoor pools were great with neat features and cool things to look at. The indoor pool was absolutely fantastic for the toddlers and even my 7 yr old. Pool stays open late too till around 9-10 depending on date and times. I'm here on a week day and there's plenty of room and free space to roam around. There is a sweet trail and tether ball court as well. They just put in a new playground too for the kids. This place is a gem and the family who runs it is great. You feel like your off in the woods yet your less than a mile walk away from downtown where all the bars are! They also have package deals if you want tickets to water parks or attractions. We went to the deer park, adare go karts, knuckleheads, and a few other things. Great time! The only thing that was challenging was thier website. It isn't very user friendly, the lady at the desk said there are two websites and maybe I was using a different one. Either way this place is awesome and I'll be back for sure. I'm literally going to buy a meadow brook coffee mug because this place is so cool. Can't wait to see this place in the fall and winter. Went to a wedding down the road and my fiance and our baby and I were going to stay in a cabin. We arrived after the wedding and it was disgusting. The floors were dirty, we pulled out the pull out couch and the mattress was dirty (like literal dirt). Ultimately we ended up leaving. Would never recommend to anyone. read more

Clean, family friendly resort. Amenities include an indoor pool for the kiddies with numerous slides and squirrels. Outdoor kids' pool with two slides that could use a softer landing area. There's a pool to accommodate all ages as well. Fire pits are available for bonfires and S'mores, kits available in the gift shop. Family suitable movies in hotel lobby at 7PM. Volleyball net, walking trails, and a sad outdoor ping pong table are available, too. No daily maid service. A hot tub would be a very nice addition! read more

I hate to write this about the town that I love Meadowbrook resort watch out for these people. I have a $60,000 car when I got there I couldn't access the property they're putting in a new road. It was off-season. I called them and they told me that I had it enter the property Another way 5 miles out of my way . When I came down that road it was under construction piles of cement, bobcats, loose sand, and gravel rocks . I called the hotel so unprofessional the woman ,Tammy told me sorry no refunds. I said G I got it really nice car in this road , is not suitable for Travel. said well you stayed here the other day you knew we were under construction. I told her I said it wasn't like this. You could've warned me. She was so rude. She said well. I've already processed your credit card payment so I'll just cancel the room and she hung up the phone on me So I decided to go I drove 15 miles an hour top speed. It took us forever to get there. The place reeked of marijuana. There was garbage in the garbage can in our room. It's like it was never cleaned. These people are very rude. I am a local and I know the owner. His name is Scott when I called and I said can I please speak to Scott I was told he's busy and he's going to tell you the same thing that I'm going to tell you so you can just go through me. It's like Nazi Germany at this place stay away from these people go to Birchcliff. It's so much nicer and it's just right down the road if you really wanna go out of town go to Angel HideaAway . Do not recommend. I reserved a room directly through Meadowbrook not a third party site. I booked a Redwood in the Ponderosa which has 2 queen beds as well as an outside private entrance and was away from the main building. Well checked in, followed direction to room and immediately knew they didn't put me in the room I booked (there was only 1 queen and then 2 twin beds and it was inside main building which is motel style rooms/entrance). Went back to desk and they said the room I'd booked was having "maintenance" issues so they "upgraded" me. I told them why I had booked the Redwood but they were very non chalant and unapologetic about switching my room type and I guess didn't have any other rooms with 2 queen beds and private entrance (she basically told me to use pull out sofa if we needed a second big bed). Also they didn't notify me upon check in what was going on or offer any other solutions. Thankfully I only booked one night. Upon spending the day in the Dells we decided we were going to stay a second night but not at this place. The place is outdated, smells really bad and our particular room smelled like urine. read more

I've been coming to the Dells for years and decided to check out some new places and came across this resort. It was a little odd checking in only because we got there around 1, I asked if I could be called or texted when the room was ready but they said they can't do that, just to come back in a couple hours. To kill time, we went to eat at the Riverwalk Pub, good food if you haven't been there, and then did our grocery shopping for the 4 days we were staying. We got back around 4 and the room was ready. We had a stand alone cabin, which was very nice to have our own little place. It had one queen bed, a whirlpool, fireplace, and full kitchen (note: the full kitchen does not come with an oven or a full size refrigerator, at least not in the cabin we had, #724). Utensils are provided, a washcloth & towel by the sink, along with dish soap. Enough bowls & plates for 2 people, a couple of coffee cups and regular cups, silverware and a couple utensils for the grill. No paper towels so make sure to bring some or purchase some from their on site store. Each cabin has its own grill and picnic table which was great! They also have charcoal you can purchase if needed. All in all the cabin was decent. Pool area was nice, they have a fence separating the kiddie area from the regular size pool which goes 5' deep. It's a short walk from the cabin so wear sandals as you'll be walking through the parking lot. They have campfires set up for anyone to use at anytime as well as grills spread around, super cool in my opinion as who doesn't love campfires and grilling during the summer! They have little s'mores kits you can buy in the store which is also super cool and nice for the kiddos. Overall, I think it's a great place and I would definitely stay again. I really like this place. It's not on the strip so you get some privacy and a woodsy feel without all the noise and traffic. We are in one of the main buildings but the cabins look very nice from what I can see. Beautiful path with a creek and covered bridge. Very nice for families with small children. When I think of Wisconsin I think of pine trees and cabins and that's this place! Enjoy your time here I know I will! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would..I have been coming to the Dells for years and have never experienced crap like this..I gave the the names of all the ppl staying in my room paid was given room keys only to later find out that my card was charged extra money for people that were already on the paperwork. The room sleeps 6 there were 5 ppl. 3 large beds in the room. My card was charged without my permission, I went to get gas and had not even entered the room. I was not given a chance to decide if I wanted to leave..Rude staff, not a 4 star resort as advertised. It did not include anything that was advertised.on here with these fake 4 star reviews! Super cute and nice place to stay in the Dells. Very friendly front desk staff. I had tried to book a cabin online for two nights and recieved a phone call later that day informing me that the cabins were a minimum of 3 nights that weekend. They helped me find a lodge room for the 2 nights and even discounted me the price of the room to match what the cabin was. Win! Room was clean and had all essential necessities, including a fridge, microwave, hot plates and dishes. They have cute s'mores packages in the shop which you can enjoy at any of their multiple firepits on the resort grounds. Pools were very kid friendly and we saw multiple families enjoying them. Free caribou coffee in the mornings to start your day too! Close enough to downtown and other Dells attractions but far enough away to not feel like your suffocating with tourists or traffic. Friendly staff, perfect place to take your family. Clean rooms , and a great environment. No giant water park but we didn't care about that . Stayed at wilderness and checked out it was to crazy and expensive. We came to this place and wished we came here first. Quiet out doors may setting with fire pits and ping pong. Game room isn't 2-3$ a game like big resorts. Rooms have cooking setups and grill spots . Free firewood for multiple campfire spots. Highly recommended!! Giving 4 stars simply due to the fact that they really should have a pool heater. I have a pool heater for my 45,000 gallon pool, there is absolutely no reason to not have a heated pool. my kids are tough and are struggling to get in the indoor pool and defiantly won't swim in the outdoor. We would plan larger family gatherings if theh had a heated pool. Otherwise I love everything else, but would be nice to have more items in their store and maybe a hot tub. The staff is wonderful, and the rooms are adorable. The pool being open later is super nice to. The firepits everywhere and the property is gorgeous. read more

This is a nice place for the money. Definitely a place to bring your kids. My only complaint would be the internet is ridiculously bad. I know that's not why people come to the Dells. This reason for rating this place 1-star was because I had to. If it was up to me, I would not have given it any stars. This resort did not meet the expectations that we are used to, during our family vacation. The resort is dated and needs to be upgraded. Most of the things in the room were inoperable. The air condition did what is was suppose to. If you didn't get up by 6 a.m., there was no hot water to shower/bathe. The linen did not look clean. I bought my own linen and used them on the bed. The only reason we stay at this resort, was because we had a different planner this year. The planner did not want to do much research and chose the first resort that appeared to accommodate our needs. The person that planned this vacation booked her room and then informed the family of the ridiculous policies that the resort enforces. After being advised of the policies, I knew this place was not going to be a good fit and what we were used to on our family vacation. We frequent Wisconsin Dells every other year. Usually, staying at one of the more popular resorts, on the strip. I knew this resort was not going to be what we were used to for our family vacations after being advised that there was a "no refunds" policy, even with sufficient notice. The policy is, that you can change your dates and be charged a fee for the change, but no "refunds". In my opinion, the fee is ridiculous. If you need to change your date and are not offered a refund, what extra step are you performing to check the system for a different date? Changing and checking dates are in the scope of the job. They are only going to give you dates that are open, they are not moving another reservation to accommodate you, so confused on the reason for charging to change dates. On check-in day, at approximately 9 p.m., the clerk would not accept a cash payment for the room and could not officially check me into their system. Her reasoning for not being able to accept cash payment was, there policy is that you have to use the credit card that you reserved the room with, to pay something on the room. Instantly, I felt discriminated against. My thought was, so every African American uses credit cards fraudulently, so let's make sure it is a legitimate card; even though, the room is being paid for regardless. It would have made more sense, if she had said, "we still need your credit card on file for incidental." After getting the payment completed, she couldn't officially check me into their system because I had reserved two rooms and the other person had not arrived. I didn't understand the reasoning behind that either. I made her aware, that the other person was going to use their credit card upon arrival. It didn't make a difference, she couldn't officially check me in. The last thing that really had me livid, was being charged a fee for the custodian to come out and let me in my room after my key was not working. He was unable to let me in because the person in the room had the deadbolt on the door. I spoke to the guy before he came over, he never told me that if the deadbolt is on, the key will not work. Instead, the next day, he cancels my key. When I get to the front desk, he tells me, he is charging me $25 for opening the door, that he did not open and $50 for my guest disturbance. I was cool with the guest disturbance charge because it was an unnecessary disturbance. He did not get me in the room and could have told me over the phone, the reason for the key not working. In my opinion, he wanted to charge me because he felt he could. THEIR MISSION WAS ACCOMPLISHED, with their racist/prejudice behavior; and Meadowbrook Resorts, DO NOT have to worry about our family staying at their resort ever again! read more

The room was very clean and service people were nice. outside pool was very clean. lots of kids stuff here too. they even encourage people to go outside and make a campfire with free wood provided by the resort. there are nice outdoor walk ways with multiple private fire pits too. only downside i noticed is no indoor adult pool- only an indoor kiddie pool. adults are outta luck when it rains oh well. prices were just right too. its 2 minutes off the main drag. felt like the owners actually care about their resort- not some giant loud obnoxious place with rides. def worth a look! read more

We wanted an "old school" Dells weekend, and were lucky to discover this place. It was extremely clean, affordable, uncrowded and friendly. We didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on Great Wolf Lodge - with their ridiculous insane asylum of a waterpark. Instead my family spent a great long weekend hitting all the classic Dells attractions - WizardQuest, Ripleys, Exploratorium, Duck tour, Paul Bunyan, etc. What a find this place turned out to be. It's located just far enough from the downtown area to be nestled in the woods, but close enough so you can walk downtown if you wanted. The environment is very cozy with a movie and campfire every night. This is a true cedar lodge, and it was very clean. The shallow fountain pool was great for our little kids and we mostly had the place to ourselves. The price was unbelievable - $65/night (of course, this was low season). The only complaint I have is the the arcade is half broken, and the change machine doesn't work. Also, there is only one washer/dryer. That aside, I would recommend staying at the lodge as opposed to the cabins. It's nice to be close to the lobby where you walk in your slippers and curl up on a comfy rocker and watch the evening's movie on the big screen TV. Also, nice to be close to the big fireplace in the lobby. Very comfortable family-owned place. Intimate enough to be comfy and cozy but not so small (like a B&B) that you feel like you're staying in someone's house. read more

This is a good option for families with young kids. The pool areas are nice, not too deep. The indoor pool/water park has 3 slides, and doesn't get deeper than 18 inches. The outdoor pool areas don't get deeper than 4.5 feet. They are perfect for young children, but older children could get bored. The playground leaves a little to be desired--my young children were super thrilled, but again, older children will get bored fast. One slide, a lot of sand, some old backyard equipment...it's pretty sparse. The game room could be better. It's a lot of $1 claw machines that our daughter got a kick out of, but for older kids, they'd get bored quickly. There are lots of grills spotted throughout the property, so families looking to grill can do so. There are 3 fire pits on the property so you can make s'mores, or just hang out by the fire. Movies nightly in the lobby, all family friendly. (When we were there, it was Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, and Wonder.) When one movie night wrapped up, one little girl got to select the movie for the following night. The property is cute, and all the rooms and common areas are decorated in a north woods/log cabin theme. Our daughter LOVED the kids cabin in our room. The rooms with the kids cabins are huge and were plenty big for 4 people. No restaurant or room service on the property, but we got quite a few coupons and directions for local restaurants upon check in. We never experienced any rudeness from the staff while we were there. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They do have a strict "no party" policy, so I wouldn't say this is great for large groups or reunions. If you plan to be up late laughing with your group, they'd probably knock on the door and ask you to quit it. They also don't have "do not disturb" signs for the doors. Room service comes by everyday, whether or not you want it. They'll make the beds, change out the towels, take out trash...it's very minimal. They won't make the bed if your belongings are on it. For a quick trip, you can book through their website, and get a variety of packages added on (ducks, pottery, winery, etc.) If you want to come in and do a big resort with resort water parks, this isn't your place. But you can come up for a relaxing few days, stay close to the downtown area, and travel to whatever parks you'd like to visit, and it's generally enjoyable. read more

Water pressure in the showers makes up for it. Kitchens are nice, but it would have been better if coffee makers cameos stocked with filters and some coffee. Must bring your own. Stayed in a cabin, out-dated, rustic, clean. Only the bare necessities are provided, bring paper towels, scissors, things you need for everyday travel/life. Pools are good for kids approx 4 and under - water slides are SMALL. Smoking only allowed in parking lot is not enforced, saw numerous people smoking right outside cabin & smelled cigars around pool mid-day. But they also provide numerous ashtrays around pool- not sure why, if it's not allowed... playground is dirty and roof falling off 1 playhouse. Cabins are up a VERY steep hill- not great for older folks. Cabins have bedrooms in lower level and bathroom in upper level. Good things- not a ton of bugs, even though it's wooded, a majority of the place was clean, staff was friendly, campfire areas available for free, good cell reception. Would not stay there again- but not considering it a total loss. read more

The staff is extremely helpful. The hotel has a cute cabin /nature / wildlife theme. The hotel is clean and well maintained. There are three fire pits perfect for making s'mores. They conveniently have a s'mores kit ready to go for about $8. There are three pools on the property - two outdoor and one indoor. I'd recommend adding this to your trip. My family and I stayed here off season in the fall because we wanted a cabin - like atmosphere with an outdoor feel that was close enough to both state parks and all the tourist locations in the Dells. This place definitely fit the bill. It's very close to attractions and also very short drive away from other attractions like state parks and horseback riding. Perks: free Caribou Coffee in the morning , rustic/wooded setting , family friendly atmosphere with specific warnings about being too loud at night (my family are not night owls), pool for little children. Drawbacks: funny musty smell in the cabin that did not seem to improve much over time , very shifty activity packages that never seemed clear to me on what you actually got and staff that really could not clarify (I ended up not going with the activity package specifically because of this), need to provide more blankets in the cabins when it turns cold. Even with all of this, we would still go back, if we decide to visit the Dell's again. read more

Just got back after a 4 night stay with a group of friends. Rooms need to be updated to give it a more modern feel. We liked that it was off the main drag, but it was very hard for all us (different carriers) to get a cell phone signal inside the rooms...not a big deal if you have phones in the rooms...which they don't. We found that to be weird. Also, they supply the coffee maker but it's BYOCoffee... We did like that it was quiet. Looked like a good place for children. Hmmmm...where to begin? I chose this resort based on reviews on a booking website. It seemed fun and family oriented, which is what I was looking for for my kids. My fiancé and I invited another couple, along with their daughter. It was my brothers birthday so my mom booked two rooms for us, one for me and one for my brother. I paid for my friends room personally. We enter the lobby, which was nice and cozy. It had some rocking chairs and a flat screen tv with a sign that said something along the lines of "movies at night"...there were no movies either of the two nights we stayed. But anyway, upon arrival, the front desk lady told us that we needed to have the card we booked with and the person who booked it had to be present...obviously my mom wasn't there. So we paid for all three rooms right then and there. No biggie, I understand that people can use stolen cards or what have you. Anyways, after that whole fiasco, we all go to our rooms. They were clean. The twin beds were honestly more comfortable than the janky queen bed my fiancé and I slept on. The pool area is small and doesn't go past maybe 3 feet. That's fine considering I chose the "resort" for mine and my friends kid. On our first night, my friend and I went to the lobby to let our toddlers play on the little slide in there and sit on the rocking chairs. My son saw the air conditioner and lifted the control thermostat. Before I could go stop him, the receptionist (who was upstairs above the lobby) yelled "DONT TOUCH THAT YOUNG MAN!" She could have kindly said to me, "excuse me miss, can you please make sure your son doesn't mess with that." My son doesn't understand and yelling isn't going to stop him. He's a 2 year old. Whatever. The second day, our last night, my fiancé and I, my two year old and ten month old, our friends and their two year old decided to go to the pool around 9 pm. Mind you, the indoor pool is open until 1130pm, as stated on the welcome paper you receive when you arrive. A little bit after 930, maybe closer to 10, the lady at the front desk comes to the pool and hollers that the pool is closed and to get out. Everyone was in the pool besides me and my girl friend. So two toddlers, two grown men and an infant are all enjoying themselves until this lady enters. She was beyond rude. She left the pool and went to a closet or some room right outside the pool, in the game room. Within 30 seconds (no joke), she is back, comes in and starts aggressively arranging the tables next to ours that weren't being used. She continued to holler, clapping and waving her hands around, that we need to get out and that the pool is closed. Let me just say that we were the ONLY people there. Probably the only people in the hotel as well! It was a ghost town. Any who, I had to take my infant, who was dripping wet and shivering out of pool and into the cold hallway. My fiancé took our toddler and our friends left with their child. This lady didn't even give us TWO MINUTES to wrap up our belongings and wipe off our kids. Oh! And another thing, the water was ice cold. Maybe 60-65 degrees. It was unbearable but we still swam regardless. My friends husband went up the front desk after this whole ordeal with the welcome paper that stated all the rules and asked why we had been kicked out when it stated the hours were til 1130 pm. The lady said that she didn't feel good and wanted to go home because a snow storm was coming. She apologized to him. If she were to initially come in and say "hey guys, I don't feel well. I'd like to go home so if you could wrap it up in the next few minutes, I'd appreciate it" and that's something we could all understand and get out of your hair for. But no, no respect whatsoever on her end and she knew we had kids so how are you going to give us all 30 seconds to get out and dry off? Nonetheless, we purchased 3 rooms from you. We didn't purchase one and cram everyone in. My fiancé did talk to a much nice receptionist upon checkout who apologized for her actions and asked if we'd like to write a complaint out. My fiancé did and he received a call from the manager who said this type of behavior will not just be swept under the rug because that's not how guests should ever be treated at a family resort. There's plenty of other resorts and we chose this only to be disrespected and unwelcome. The manager was very pleasant and apologetic. She offered to send us 3 gifts card for our experience. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning anytime soon. Save your money and stay elsewhere,as there are many other options with bigger indoor pools and other amenities such as saunas and jacuzzis for the same price. Only leaving one star, because it won't let me leave half a star. We rented a cabin for the weekend with some friends. First night we got there we were told we were staying in the main building even though we rented one of the cabins. After the first night the A/C stopped working and went to inform the staff, to which they did nothing, but bring us a few fans. It was so hot in the room that we had to leave and go to places with A/C. The staff told us to talk to management the next day. When we spoke with the manager she was not willing to help nor even compensate us for how hot the room was. The manager said she would personally come up to the room to see how hot it was, and sent up a 16 year old kid to fight her battles. The kid came up with the excuse that if we had brought this up sooner something could have been done. We told him we informed immediately when we figured out the A/C wasn't working. 10/10 would not stay again. Very unprofessional staff and poor facilities maintenance. Family oriented. Made a last minute booking as the rest of town lacked vacancies. Room was decent. However if you have kids, please book a lower level floor. We ended up on first level and all night it sounded like children were bouncing off the walls & ceiling above. Could hear nearly every running foot stomp. Lack of hot water in the shower in the morning too. Reminded me of childhood camp. But it is nice that this place isn't on the noisy main drag in Wisconsin Dells. This place man... THIS IS THE PLACE you want to stay in the dells. It is AMAZING! Went in the fall with my girlfriend to celebrate an anniversary. This place is surrounded by hundreds of VERY tall, GORGEOUS trees exploding with color. The lobby was decorated to feel so homey. The rooms were decorated like few I've ever seen. The theme was woodsy, alaska-feeling cabin. This place gets very little cellular/LTE coverage - but that kind of adds to the experience. If we needed service i just had to stand next to the window. They gave us a GREAT deal for a very large room with such a nice jaccouzzi and large tv and electric fireplace. The place is soooo quiet and peaceful. Get this, you can sit outside and enjoy a bonfire that they set up for you and supply wood for (its set up all night so you don't even need to ask). I can't wait to go back, this place is CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, COZY, and just plain happy. This is the hidden gem of the dells. read more

Came here for a weekend mini-vacation. Super cute resort! They have a small indoor pool area with slides and all kinds of kid-friendly water slides and such. The theme of the whole resort is trees ... and bears. Bear lamps, bear rugs, bear TV remote holders, fake bear skins, stuffed bears ... and chunky log wood decor (which is actually very charming). They serve Caribou coffee in the morning and have a nightly campfire to make s'mores. We stayed in a Voyageur room on the first floor. In retrospect, it would have been better to stay in one of the cabins or on a higher floor. It was kind of damp and smelled like chlorine because of its proximity to the pool. It took forever to check in, which in a lot of ways wasn't the resort's fault as the family in front of us kept wanting to change rooms. It still took almost 20 minutes. There's a game room with air hockey and these crazy games I haven't seen since I was a kid. It was like going back in time 20 years. Oddly relaxing. My mother and I went for a long weekend, fall, girls only trip to the Dells to eat food and be tourists! No waterparks for us! We stayed in the Chestnut Cabin and it was perfect! What a great price too! Had queen bed and 2 twins, bathroom with tub and shower, microwave, and mini fridge. There is a picnic bench outside and a grill! The main lodge looks EXACTLY like the pictures...so cute! They have a movie playing every night at 7, coffee till 11, a really comfy place by a fire to sit and read! The grounds are awesome...reminded me of a campground! Since we were off season, the outdoor pools were closed, but the indoor kiddie play area pool was open and looked neat. This is definetly not a typical waterpark resort...but perfect for those familys that want to get out and see the dells! I would stay again in a heartbeat! read more

My husband loves to go to the Meadowbrook Resort. We get the individual cabin and we love it.

My husband and I brought our 8 year old daughter here and we fell in love immediately. We stayed in the main building and the lobby was clean and cozy. The staff was helpful and so friendly, they made us feel right at home. The grounds are well maintained and we loved the fires with s'mores at night. The room was adorable and very well maintained. We have decided to make this a yearly retreat because we fell in love with this place. read more

The service here is beyond abysmal. I called to make sure the Mt. Olympus tickets they sell do provide access to the whole park (including the "private" section), and was told that the tickets give access to the entire park. The website also shows all of the rides, including those in the "private" area. Upon arrival I asked the lady at the reception desk again if the tickets provided access to the entire park, to be reassured that they absolutely did. I then went to Mt. Olympus to find the gate staff confirming that Meadowbrook guests do not have access to the 14 rides in the "private" area of the waterpark. These are some of the best rides in the park. Upon returning to the resort I went to the reception desk to speak to the staff. They stated that they cannot be held responsible for decisions by Mt. Olympus, even indicating that if the Mt. Olympus staff wished to close a bathroom, there is nothing that Meadowbrook would be able to do about it. When I went to check the website at the desk, it had been changed to show only the rides which were not within the "private" area. The staff then told me that the website hadn't been changed, and tried to make me out to be a fool. I will never return to this resort. I shall also be writing a letter of complaint, which I am sure will not be answered. read more

This place was bad right from the start. Staff has no issue lying to customers. Hot tubs are dirty and nasty with pubic hairs floating around. Staff was rude, condescending and confrontational. Management does not work on site. You have to leave your number with the desk clerk and hope they call you back which has not happened at this point. STAY SOMEPLACE ELSE, ANYPLACE ELSE. HORRIBLE cancellation policy!! HORRIBLE customer service!! I tried canceling our reservation the next day after I made it and it cost me $200! Our transaction hadn't even processed!!! The sales supervisor was very rude and wasn't willing to work with us at all on possible solutions for using our credit. She also would not give me the name or contact info for the owner to issue a complaint!! I have never spoke with anyone so unprofessional and condescending. For anyone who plans on staying here...DONT! For starters, they will NOT give you extra sheets or towels without a specific reason (and no just because you want another towel is not a good enough reason). Next, if there are any issues with anything they will send the manager (Jim) who had verbally abuse us. Jim had came to our room extremely aggressively and had screamed for everyone to gather in the room to do a headcount on how many of us were there. I was in the bathroom at the time and he had shaken the door and yelled for me to come out (didn't even get to finish my business). Without hesitation, he had yelled for our guests to leave and had timed 5 minutes for them to pack their things to go. The appropriate thing for Jim to have done was to come into the room and tell us there are complains and to kindly be respectful to others. He has treated all of us like children and refused to speak like a human. Later on, when we agreed to have some of our members to leave since he had been extremely one-sided, I had asked him for the owners' number to have a normal conversation with me since Jim (a grown man) couldn't handle that. Jim had ignored me and refused to look in my direction. At first, I was confused but had realized that he ignored me because IM A FEMALE. He had only looked at the males in our group and ignored all the females. Multiple times I had tried to talk to him and he had turned to my boyfriend to answer. I had flat out told him that he's being sexist and that I'm speaking to him and he had once again looked at my boyfriend to say "what's going on?". I'm extremely embarrassed about Jim and his behavior. But, do not get me wrong the entire hotel had extremely inappropriate manners and were disgustingly disrespectful even though we're the ones paying them. read more

I just took a family trip to the Dells for my first time. We booked a "package deal" with Meadow Brook online. The resort was very clean, the staff was polite and helpful. The resort has a normal sized outdoor pool, a kiddie outdoor pool, and a kiddie indoor pool. There are good sized campfire rings set around the grounds for making smores. There is also a good sized play area for small children.There is a main building (where I stayed) a second building, and also separate cabins. It was very relaxing to come back to after spending our days in the hustle of the Dells. The resort is aimed at families with small children, but my teen children enjoyed it as well. We will be booking here for our next trip to the Dells. read more

This was our first time at Meadow Brook and it will not be our last. It came recommended by a friend of my daughters and we LOVE it! You can stay in a standard hotel room or get a cabin. We rented Pine Cone Cabin, it sleeps 6 and we had three and it was perfect! Quiet, clean and very friendly service. They have fire pits burning to make smores and it smells great too! They have great packages so don't buy any of the attractions anywhere else. The cabins get cleaned every day too. Right outside of the main strip. Two great outdoor pools and one pretty small indoor pool for the kids. You have your own grill if you want to grill too! Air conditioned, plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. They have a kids movie night at 700 PM in the main lobby every night. They have free coffee in the morning in the lobby. We will definitely come back again. Kitchen is supplied with plates, pots, pans, toaster, coffee,microwave, stove, refrigerator, silverware and coffee maker. Two large televisions, cable tv and the wifi is free and was working fine! read more

After booking a last minute Halloween weekend trip with my boyfriend, I wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first time in the Dells. Let me tell you the Meadowbrook employees exceeded our expectations. The women were so sweet and helpful, and you could truly tell how much effort they put in to make sure that you're comfortable at your stay. The cabins are nice and cozy, and the lobby has such a warm welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely book another vacation at this resort in the future. read more

This place is definitely over priced! Tho I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a complete dump after reading the reviews (after my mom had already booked 4 rooms, and they charge 20% to cancel) it still wasn't worth the amount of money we paid. They definitely have a good marketing strategy. Little things like they have fire pits and give each family ONE bucket of smores, which has only one package of crackers and 2 chocolate bars (thankfully I brought some bcuz that was not enough for 4 ROOMS WITH KIDS) but they make you buy the smores sticks. To me, that type of stuff annoys me. The pools are for kids, not much sun for adults to lay out bcuz there are large trees blocking it. Whatever. The rooms have small fridge and small two pilot cooktop. However you can only use one at a time. The beds are hard and uncomfortable with old box TV from 1980. All in all the place is outdated, still not the worst place to stay. The issue that bugs me the most is the owner. Every day he's in the parking lot trying to get people to rent out the cabins instead of the rooms. I get it, he wants to make more money with cabins, but he tried to persuade us by telling us how shitty the rooms are and telling us how surprised he is that we have running water! The best part of the stay.... We had my mom baby sit the kids 1 NIGHT Out of the 4 nights we stayed and went out just the adults. Bars close at 1:30 am so we moved the party back to our hotel where we had a night cap on the patio. Lucky for us the owner lives in the cabin across the parking lot from us. So within the 45 min- an hour that we were at the room we had security called on us twice!!!! After the first time we went inside and were quiet and he still called on us. Unbelievable! We paid a lot of money for that dumpy hotel FOR OUR VACATION and had to deal with them telling us we had to go to sleep!!! We are grown adults ranging 30-42 years old. No complaints from neighbors, just the owner be cuz his window was open! I will never go back. Don't waste your money, there are definitely nicer resorts that don't have a grumpy old man telling grown ups when they have to go to bed! Unreal. read more
