First time here for tubing and the staff was great. I've tubed in many states and never had customer service like this. Just down to earth, friendly folks. The river was much much bigger than I've ever tubed on, but there's a jet ski driving on the river that will help you out when needed. I regretted not bringing my wallet because there's a campground off the river that has a bar you can stop at for food and drinks. I would recommend bringing a cooler of drinks and sunscreen.

Another fantastic canoe trip. This place was solid, but with new owners..... It's noticeably a step up. It's the details, and the attitude. What a difference. The new management really has made a positive change. Specifically in the employees attitude. They were helpful. They were friendly. They seemed to "get it". I liked Pointe Bluff before, but now I love Pointe Bluff.

Amazing place to rent kayaks, tubes and canoes, and there is even a bar and restaurant right there! It is located in the northern part of the upper dells, and is about 20 minutes from downtown. It is a great place for beginning kayakers, or those who would like an easy ride. There is a bus that takes you upstream, and you paddle your way back to the resort afterwards. There are different packages and prices for kayaks, depending on where you would like to get dropped off. These range from about $30-50, and also have a time limit, depending on how far you have to go. You can also rent kayaks for a $30 day pass, and not get dropped off anywhere.. although I recommend it, cause the current is REALLY strong, and going upstream does not look like it would be easy! There are other boats around, as this is a wake permitted area, but the river is wide enough that they do not cause too many waves.

Our site was great, right on the river where the kids could play.

There are 4 cottages all with the same layout. Each cottage has a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a fireplace, full kitchen complete with a gas range. It is rented as either a two bedroom (either end of the cottage), three bedroom (an end and the center one bedroom), five bedroom (the entire cottage). It is a timeshare. It can be rented out. We have stayed there at least five times. It is peaceful there even with the construction going on. They recently renovated to make more modern.

I noticed on the website right away that sundara had construction going on. So when I called to reserve I asked right away exactly How the construction would affect our stay. They assured me that where we were going to be staying they wouldn't be working and that all the work was being done on the way opposite side of the resort. So I went Ahead and gladly paid $577 for my over night stay and couples massage. The room was awsome and the massages were great! But then to get woken up at 7:30am with loud banging literally right next door was frustrating. I think it's great your trying to imprOve and expand but then be honest with me and I would have waited to spend my $577 when the construction was over. My friend works construction everyday and took today (Monday) off of work to get away and relax with me and we dealt with it the whole time. Also I think it's pretty unsanitary to have the breakfast food literally NEXT to rooms that are being worked on. I could see dust coming from a room very close to wear all the fruit and other food was laying out.

We were in search of a place where we could rent the entire property for our wedding and wanted a place where we could offer all of the ages of the family something to do at any given moment. This place delivered!! My best friend and I called this place on a roadtrip because we found it on google and thought it was worth a shot and Chris the owner answered and was so kind and thoughtful that we detoured and stopped to meet him there in the middle of winter. We chose this place because of him and the fabulous, well kept property. We talked with Chris and his wife several times prior to our August wedding and they were patient with our planning process and able to accommodate all of our requests. We cannot thank them enough for the use of the clubhouse and pool! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made our stay truly unforgettable.  Chris and his wife Angie, the staff and property were more than we could have dreamed up! The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a picturesque setting that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere of the Wisconsin River. It was the perfect site for our wedding and family gathering, providing a beautiful backdrop for our special day and ample space for all our guests to relax and enjoy.  The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Their dedication to excellence and genuine care for their guests truly set Cedar Lake Lodge and Settlement apart.  Whether you're planning a wedding, a family reunion, or just a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Cedar Lake Lodge and Settlement. It is a hidden gem in Wisconsin Dells that offers unparalleled beauty, comfort, and hospitality. We can't wait to return!   Highly recommend that you rent a boat for some amazing photos and head next door to rent tubes to float down the river! We came to Wisconsin on 7/3/26 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. One of the things we got…read moretickets for was the Take Flight experience. We couldn't decide out of the two experience which one to do so we did a double feature. We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

We stayed in a single king room and were pleasantly surprised with how much space we had, it didn't feel cramped even with all the toddler gear. Both the hotel and the waterpark were consistently clean throughout our stay. For a high traffic family resort this was impressive and much appreciated. The wave pool and dedicated toddler area were a huge hit. Our little dude had a blast and it was great to have a safe, age appropriate space for him to explore. The lodge is due for some updates, specifically the waterpark equipment - the water jet skis in the toddler area were all broken and material was visibly chipping. While my toddler didn't notice the cosmetic wear, as a parent it is a little worrisome. I'd say visiting in the winter was the perfect way to beat the cold, though it did limit us to indoor sections. We're definitely curious to return when it's warmer to see how the outdoor area fairs. Overall a great choice for families with toddlers, but hopefully, management will invest in some much needed repairs to the play features soon!

The room itself was large, which was nice, but the broken toilet seat was hard to overlook, that's something housekeeping should have caught and fixed before anyone checked in. They did offer to fix it or change our room promptly. The outdoor Waterpark felt very unregulated. The drop slide didn't have a bar to hold onto like every other slide of this type, and kids were allowed to stand right where riders came off the slides, which didn't feel safe. The outdoor bar in the sand wasn't open on a Thursday or Friday, which was disappointing. The arcade closes at 9, and after that there's basically nothing left for kids to do. The gym was AWFUL. It's three hotel rooms with a ripped out sink and dim lighting. The weight rack is an embarrassment. They had one set of 10lb dumbbells. The next lowest weight was 30lbs and it topped out at 50lbs. The zip-lining on the property is offered at $25 if you purchase it prior to check in. It costs $70 if you book afterwards. It felt like we were in another country - we had one guide for the 4 of us. She let my husband go on his own, my 11 year old followed. Then she zip-lined over leaving my daughter and myself to hopefully set ourselves up properly. There were times she was already ahead of me and not there to receive my daughter or myself when we zip lined across. Really increased my anxiety as a parent. Overall, it's a low‑budget version of a Great Wolf Lodge but they allow you to bring your pets with you.
