I went over to a friend's house today for lunch, and she decided on ordering in from Cassiano's. It was my first time hearing about this place, but my friend recommended it, so I of course had to give it a try. We ordered a small Neapolitan pie through Seamless, as well as 2 cans of soda and two orders of garlic knots. Our food arrived relatively quickly, in what seemed like half an hour or less. Very speedy service. For the small pie, it comes with 6 slices, which was the perfect portion when split between the two of us. First of all, the pizza was divine. And, as someone who was born and raised in NY, I know a slice is successful when you fold it and it doesn't flop downwards. This pizza was perfect, with no flop, so bonus points for that! As for the garlic knots, those also did not disappoint. They had a slight crisp on the outside from being in the oven, but they were soft and moist on the inside. In my opinion, they didn't even need to be dipped in sauce they came with, because they were that moist and flavorful on their own. Even though I didn't visit the storefront, absolutely loved the food from here. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Guy who didn't know how to process a credit card and was abusive

Food was cold and took too long. The guy behind the register didn't know how to process a credit card and I spent another 20 minutes waiting for him to figure it out. The workers were in the back complaining about him while I was eating. The place was dirty and overprice.

Ive been going to cassiano's lately and now feel good enough to post this review today i tried the shrimp caesar wrap and it was so good the shrimp was nicely grilled lettuce nice and crisp and the wrap was not dripping in dressing! the fries are amazing as well fresh and crisp and the doughnut light airy and fluffy, my grandma / nonna slice was so good i forgot to snap it before i ate it so just imagine a perfectly crisp perfectly sauced fresh slice and you're there! lastly the customer service here is very good too! they're efficient , and the piece de resistance , and they have the 12 oz tall boy diet cokes! dont come running in here and buying them all up now please! Great job Cassiano's

Some of the soggiest pizza we have eaten in a while . A solid miss by any imagination! By any standards, it's not good at all. Pizza is soggy and falls apart. We found this pizzeria to serve very greasy slices, so we wanted to be quickly in and out. We do not recommend it when there are better options nearby.

Surprised at the rating. Randomly stopped by and had what I thought was a very solid slice of NY Pizza. Take a look at the photo - what's not to like?

So far so good! This was my first time trying this place out. Our office recently moved across the street and needed to get a quick salad for lunch. I went for the standard Cobb which was priced very fairly at about $13.50. composed of greens, chicken ,avocado, bacon, red pepper gorgonzola and such and in huge quantities! Give them a try. Looks like they have tons of pizza by the slice, plus pasta and sandwiches. Oh the place has a huge indoor seating area . Go get you some.

Good place for a quick slice, best to eat the slice while it's hot. The line can get long during the lunch rush but it's relatively quick as most people order by the slice.

This is my go to lunch spot when im not trying to spend an arm and a leg on lunch. It isn't the cheapest pizza spot in the area but definitely provides the best value for the quality of food you are getting. 10/10

Management was very accommodating on various levels - no need to describe the details as it's not relevant for an average review. know before you go - you literally have no other cheese but to have cheese in your pasta. Note that this is not a place for lactose intolerant kinds. I thought the concept was fresh pasta (which it is) but their ultimate menu items must include that cheese wheel. So fine. I figured they can at least give a non-cheese dish but rules are the rules. The place was packed on a weekend early evening. Lines were not forming (like it showed in the viral videos) but they were cooking up quite a bit at the front, because of carry out orders. Either way, on all angles - literally pretty much everything is ALL good and very positive. However, the one thing that needs to be addressed is that wheel made of cheese. Whoever created that chunk of a wheel, kudos to them/company. By golly - that gargantuan of a wheel was so filled with calories - I kid you not, it almost converted me to being lactose intolerant! So if you're about to have triple bypass the next day, I do not recommend this joint until you're fully healed. Yes, the flavors were good, but the cheesey elements were just too too rich. You also cannot tell them to lessen it, it's just set the way they cook the pasta within that barrel. Otherwise, the decor/ambience was nice, and tidy aspects really show through. Customer service was wonderful. Support your local businesses!

I like the crispy chicken better, just because it added texture to the dish. Not bad, just not that good. We got the food within 5 minutes after we ordered. I called Bucatini, and they were able to accommodate us about 20 minutes later with no problem. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived, and the ambience is modern and beautiful. The food was very good, and overall the service was fine, but I felt like it was missing a little warmth. Maybe it's just personal preference, but when I think of Italian restaurants, I think of hospitality that feels genuine, warm, and from the heart ~ almost like you've been transported to Italy. Here, the service felt a little more standoffish and had more of that classic New York vibe. One small interaction also stood out. We initially ordered the focaccia, but within a minute changed our minds after realizing the whipped ricotta with tomatoes also came with bread. When we asked our server (older gentleman) to remove the focaccia, he responded that he "had already put the order in" and seemed reluctant to change it. Having worked in restaurants myself, I know that modifying or voiding an item right after it's entered usually isn't a huge ordeal, so the interaction felt a little unnecessary and put me off. Other than that, the food was good and the restaurant itself is lovely. New York City has so many restaurants serving excellent food that, for me, exceptional hospitality is what really separates one place from another. With a little more warmth in the service, this easily could have been a 5-star experience.

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper.
