This was delivery so no ambiance Cassanos, what the hell are you doing? Ordered a large deluxe pizza from Store #23 (this is store that serves my area). Again, your store fails miserably! As you can see I ordered the pizza WELL DONE! The center of the pizza was so doughy that I couldn't even pick it up, and toppings were falling through the fork I tried to use to pick up the pizza! It's not the fact that it is not thoroughly cooked, but it is almost raw in center ($30 for an uncooked pizza) I didn't know you had started the cook your own pizza at home! You can't get an address right (been customer for many years at same address) and now can't even thoroughly cook a pizza! Update: some manager called, left a message about calling back to get a credit for the above problem. Phone number left was for retrieving messages, not leaving! I sent a voice message to this manager (Adriana I believe was the name) but have not heard anything back, not that I really expected to, their customer service is a lot to be desired (hardly any at all)! People don't waste your money or time! It is a real disappointment with them for about 4 years now! read more

Ordered 3 large pizzas tonight for my husband and our son's family and was so disappointed! We ordered online. My granddaughter was ordering on the app., & said she didn't have any problems. We waited 20 minutes before going to get the order but we waited another 30 min in the store. A wall behind the register is solid keeping staff from being bothered by any walk ins, order pick-ups etc. and no one can see people coming in or for customers to be able to find a worker. We heard people back there, yet at least 5 minutes and no one came out. There was a male customer there when we came, waiting. Then 2 separate customers came but still no staff. Finally after being able to get some kind of eye contact to tell a worker we were still out there, she came but waited on three people before getting to us. Instead she told me "give me 3 minutes, which was another 10! So I stayed near the desk and to the left I see 3 workers standing almost shoulder to shoulder. The middle employee was a man, he started the pie, adding sauce, possibly cheese ( although it wasn't evident much was there.). Then he slid the pizza left a few inches and a woman put what appeared to be pepperoni on it. Then she slid it all the way to the right and this woman put the pizza in the oven. While waiting on each other, they would just stand there until their assignment was to be done. When out of the oven, the girl at the register cut the pizzas. Every one of our pizzas was only cut possibly 50%. This was one of the most inefficient things I've ever seen 4 people do at any restaurant! So we got to the car, pizzas in tote and checked them quickly. At a glance it seemed ok . Got home which is 5 minutes away tops and EVERYONE said their pizzas were ice cold ( maybe because she made us wait and they were already ready to be taken home?) Pieces were not cut all the way through. I'd say they were all three maybe 50% cut out of each pizza. There is no cheese that we could see on any of the pizzas, and it was loaded with sauce. Definitely changed the way this pizza usually tastes. it was a horrible experience. I really wish I would say it was ok but it was pretty disgusting. read more

2 pizzas and an order of "burnt" ravioli took over an hour to make. Pizza had huge dough bubbles. Staff blamed everything on staff shortages, not just to me but every customer that came in while i waited. Staff also picked nose and rubbed face with bare hands while at the register. Vic Cassano & mom donisi would not recognize what they are selling as cassanos today. I moved away years ago. Maybe it's nostalgia, but this tastes NOTHING like what I remember Pizza King selling. Not the crust, not the pepperoni, not the sauce, NOTHING. The best part about eating here was the friendly staff, they were great. The worst part about eating here was what we came for - the pizza. Unless whoever destroyed what was once a great pizza returns to the original recipe (think the new coke fiasco) they should really change the name. Ordered a pizza and upon receiving it, I opened the box to find pieces were missing! Like cmon man. I caught the driver before he left, and explained what I found.. so he took it back. It was replaced within 30 minutes. However, the North Limestone employee by the name Celeste handled the situation very unprofessionally when I called and gave them a heads up. I adore Cassano's. I visited this particular one as a kid and ate delivered pizza from here with my dad on several occasions (he has since passed). Lots of sodium is in the pizza and they are greasy but man is it good. Upscale people don't appreciate the pizza. The pizza is cut in squares soooo when eating as group makes sure you keep grabbing them squares or they will be soon be gone. The pepperoni along with the deluxe pizza are both good. read more

Got this pizza on the recommendation of a friend. The service was friendly (we ate in... cafeteria atmosphere, awful lighting, uncomfortable seats, you know, it's not a place you're supposed to eat-in). We got the deluxe veggie. Not our favorite thin crust pizza but we are pizza snobs, sort of. I don't particularly like when toppings are chopped so small, and the "distinctive taste" of the pizza just seems to be the salt. The crust is cracker thin, but the bottom is sprinkles with pretzel-style salt, and that shit is seriously salty. Like with a soft pretzel, after I figured out part of the source of the saltiness, I started picking it off. I know it's serious when the "put salt on stuff before tasting it" boyfriend thought it was too much. read more

Only go for pizza, and even that was a split decision between us two. The Deluxe was enjoyed but the Veggie, not so much with its banana pepper overload. The square pieces add some distinction to the pizza, and the thin crust is tasty. The breadsticks were forgettable with its ungarlicky-ness and store-bought texture. Add the fact that they were served with cold nacho cheese sauce. Cold!! Probably the grossest thing I have tried in a long time. So skip the breadsticks for sure, but try the pizza. read more

This was my first time going to a cassano's, I don't know if it's the chain or this particular store, but it's terrible. Dayton calls this pizza? I love thin crust, but that shit is horrible. It's salty cardboard and I think the cheese might be made of pure grease. The sauce is ketchup, hopefully, might be that red clay and oregano. And seriously, a salted crust? Do you even Italian? Another weird thing. There were a bunch leaf bugs lining the window like they were dumbfounded. Also one cicada. The cicada struck me as odd only because they only get one day to live, and this cicada used that day to watch people eat terrible pizza. I did make friends with a praying mantis though, but I met him at the Speedway down the road and he is in no way affiliated with this cassano's. We're bros. Cassano's is the best pizza in the Dayton area. Hands down. It all starts with the crust. It is thin, crispy and salted on the bottom. The sauce does not overwhelm the rest of the ingredients. There is the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to toppings. The regular pepperoni is my favorite. I go to Cassano's for pizza, but they have good subs too! The veggie sub has crisp veggies on warm toasted hoagie bread. Yum! My only complaint is that the pizza can sometimes be burnt around the edges. It has happened more than once. I've ordered Cassano's a lot, and it usually comes out perfect. For the best experience, eat in at the restaurant. read more

Do Not order your pizza from the Cassano's on N Limestone St in Springfield Oh. It's the worst one in town. Seriously your pizza will be undercooked and no salt on the bottom. Hell I might as well go to pizza hut or domino's and pay cheaper price for the same crap pizza. The best one is on Bechtle Ave. but they don't delivery to my side of town. No sauce on the sub that was ordered as well. The only good thing I can say is the pies were good but those come already made so they can't screw that up and the delivery person was nice. read more

This Cassano's makes the best Cassano's Pizza out of all the ones here in Springfield. However the hallway to the restroom is so greasy that I almost fell taking one step off of the carpet onto that hallway. This is a major safety hazard. If I had fallen I would have sued. This place was so-so. At first we like It, but then after a bit, the salt under the crust just got to be too much. Kids wouldn't eat it at all. The salad and breadsticks were fine.the pizza came out fast but we had to take the rest to go, it took So long. The salt taste overwhelms everything else, by the 3rd or 4th little square it tastes like you are pouring a salt-shaker in your mouth. Would not go back... lose the salt altogether.. and the pizza might not taste like a sodium health hazard!!! It messed my stomach up good... Gross. read more

The food was mediocre. The service was TERRIBLE. The time from order to delivery was almost 2 full hours and I had to call in to find out what the status was. Then the driver forgot some items so I called in to the toll free number when I realized the mistake, which was about 2 minutes after the driver left my door as I opened the various boxes. I then waited a full hour before calling back to get an update. They then claimed the driver was "out for delivery, so it should be there soon" - it's currently a half an hour later and still no delivery. So I called back and spoke with someone else and this time the story was that apparently someone came into the store and asked for the exact items I was shorted. Clearly this is a scam being run by one of the employees. As I just told the manager at the toll free number, this is my problem for one day but this place obviously has some people working in it that are scamming and stealing from their customers. This is awful customer service and a terrible overall experience. I wouldn't recommend this place on any level, the food just isn't good enough to waste this kind of time and effort just to eat dinner. read more

They can make the tastiest pizza around, but also the worst! They are so inconsistent. We love Cassano's when it's prepared properly, but other times it's burned or dry. Often we have to dab the top of the pizza with about 10 paper towels to soak up the grease. But it does have a unique taste. read more
