We were working and then driving all day so picking up pizza was dinner move. I checked some of the pictures and the pizza looked good so I ordered two pizzas and cheesy bread. The guy who answered said to give them 20-25 minutes and when I got there it was ready. The pizza was even better than it looked and we were all in agreement on that. The cheesy bread didn't look like what I had in mind but it was delicious too. I had to make myself stop eating and save some for breakfast in the morning. Doesn't look like much if you drive by, BUT IT IS AWESOME. Take out order and the pizza was still hot, crust still crispy and perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. The toppings we get on half the pizza were awesome and didn't skimp on anything. Don't listen to the low star reviews...they're picky and silly. OH and the service? 7 stars if that's even possible. We got Mikey's tonight. Tried to call but the line was busy, so I drove over. Mikey, the owner was working, he apologized and said they were very busy. I made my order and told him I would wait, he offered me a free drink, but I said, it's ok I was thinking about getting a pop and could pay. I believe that this is the best pizza in town. I've had Mikey's 5 times now since moving here and the crust is thin, crispy, and you can tell it's top notch all the way. They use "old world" pepperoni, which is smaller, but curls up and is so much more flavorful and crunchy than normal pepperoni used by the bigger chains. Also, their bacon bits are thick cut, and pack so much flavor. Wish they had chopped garlic, but they constantly say they don't have it....despite that it's on their menu. It's a small gripe, but I like garlic on my pizza. I have not tried any other main menu items so cannot comment on them. Will say I did have a bit of their cheesy bread and it was not good at all. I'm still giving this place 5 stars because the pizza is the STAR of this restaurant and it delivers strongly. If you haven't had this place, you are missing out!!!!! read more

This is my 2nd visit. The first time my daughter and I ate in, this time I took food home. Ordered subs, all Italian but two had variations of holding onions, ham, etc. They were all good and I had no complaints. Pizza was good, a little on the greasy side but comparable to Cassanos thin crust, yet not as salty( which is a good thing in my opinion). Mikey's Pizza is our favorite pizza place outside of St Louis. We are truck drivers and we have the best pizza in St Louis, Mikey's is a close second for us. Read the reviews and looked at the pictures and decided this was a place we wanted to check out. Bobtailed down and found a parking lot big enough for our truck (no trailer). Called first to make sure. Place was quiet on a Tuesday evening and we were waited on shortly after we sat down to look at the menus. We were pretty sure already what we wanted to try so ordered our food and drinks at the same time. Service was great, prompt and efficient. My husband ordered a salad and when it came we were surprised at the size of it. Dinner plate size. We each ordered a 12 inch pizza since we like different toppings and also ordered the cheesy bread with the meal not as appetizer. We also wanted leftovers to take back to the terminal for later and/or breakfast. Pizza and cheesy bread arrived all at the same time as requested and all of it was HOT and FRESH. Cheesy bread with garlic parmesan dipping sauce was great. Pizzas were loaded with toppings as close to the edge as possible. Both were delicious. Mikey was there and we told him about our place in St Louis and told him his place was a very close second for us for pizza across the country so far. Well I do have to say this was a very good pizza, being from Chicago I'm always on the lookout for good thin crust pizza. There were only two things that would make this pizza a number one, first they need to not use such a tomato flavored sauce is a little too acidic it needs to be a little more robust, the other thing is they need to have larger chunks of sausage, sausage is meant to be in chunks not ground up in small pieces. Other than that it was very good the pepperoni was god the onion and green pepper were done just right love the way they cut it in squares, my family and I loved it cut that way. Ok, this pizza joint is AMAZING! Indoor dining area isn't huge, but it is nicely done and well kept. Tables were large, which is great when you're loading it up with delicious pizzas. Pepsi on tap... Yay! We ordered a Cheesy Twist appetizer: 4 large breadsticks with mozzarella cheese inside. They were fabulous. You get to pick a dipping sauce. Unfortunately, they were out of cheese sauce. Their pizza sauce was unique and delicious. Our pizzas came out quickly, and still quite hot. We over-ordered so that we would be able to take home extra. Not a single regret. The cheese is also really good. My pie came out GBD, Golden, Brown, Delicious, just like the pizza I would make at home if I lived in a pizza restaurant. Mikey's is on point. The interior looks great. The renovations were done by the owner. This is not a franchise, it came from the brains and effort of one of your neighbors. Local pizza shop now open on Harding Rd. They also put the wrong name on our order (sammie instead of Samantha) They also got our order very wrong and told us it'd be an hour and a half wait plus to get the correct one because they had other customers waiting. read more

Worst service in town. Every other time I try to order a pizza, it's either an unacceptable wait time or they won't answer the phone or they just say they can't take my order. The people who work there also look very confused and aren't very friendly when you're there. The pizza had so much cornstarch falling off the bottom of the crust, which I did not care for. For me, the review that claimed the center crust remained crispy, no matter the toppings, was all the bait i needed. And it is SO TRUE! The meat explosion was incredible and that crust was perfect. It's Christmas Eve and you're in from out of town and you realize you made no plans for dinner! Options were slim until we decided to take a chance and call Mikey's. It was 7:45 pm and someone answers the phone at Mikey's and kindly let us know that he was planning on closing at 8pm. Sensing the "bummer" in my tone, he quickly said, "but I can stay open a little longer if you need me to!" YES, we definitely needed him to. We placed our order and went to pick it up in 15 minutes.
