Additionally, they had separate skate sessions for boys and girls, which felt very exclusionary, especially since some of my friends are gender non-conforming or nonbinary which I find sexist. It is a really big store with a skate park attached, and they have boards and helmets available for rent. It was $25 for a couple hours, and the gentleman who was teaching that day was awesome. He gave great advice and I could tell that he's taught a bunch of people before. He helped me make excellent use of the time and I felt like I made really good progress... I went from never being on a board to being able to stay on and maneuver around curves in about an hour and a half. I would NOT have been able to do that on my own. Everyone else who showed up to "beginner" skate time were waaaay more advanced than me, so I got to see people using the (many) ramps and I can tell that this place would be awesome for advanced skaters too. I will be going back and if I had kids, I would be taking them too!

I think the number of stars depends on the time you decide to go…read more If you go on a school holiday open skate, expect a 2 star experience. I went this past Monday. There were so many people. Your 2 hour window of enjoyment does not equate to any hurry for the rink staff. Quite a few people were working at the rink, yet only ONE person was working at the desk you paid at, handling the money and change (it's cash only), giving you skate rental tickets, and stamping your hand. I waited at least 30 minutes in line just to get in, only to immediately wait another 20 or so minutes in the rental skate line. The guys at the skate counter were great. They were trying to hurry. Unfortunately, they ran out of my size and I was unable to rent skates. I then had to go get in line to get a refund on my skating and rental. But ONLY the manager could refund me. Not the one girl who took your fees to begin with. But the manager was busy and so I waited at least 10 minutes for that. They need to get more help from the other employees when people are arriving to skate and it's such a busy day. Or just plan to arrive very early. If you come on a random day, it will be much better, much less crowded, and a higher star experience. They have skate and shoot during the week, lunch skate, and open skate. These are great and bring the rating up a bit. I'm about to start my son in skating lessons here, which they have on certain Tuesdays and Saturdays and I'm excited to see how that goes. Prices are $7 to skate, $6 for students/youth, $5 to rent.

There's also a mini arcade and a snack bar inside the arena. You can sit inside the bleachers only when you are not wearing your ice skates. By the way, there's no lockers where you can put your stuff inside. Service: The people who were at the cashier and at the skate rental stalls were pretty nice and courteous, but there was a female staff member who was in charge of watching people at the ice that came up to me and gave me a warning. She seemed passive aggressive about it too which made me pretty uncomfortable... In general, this place is pretty chill. Haha, get it, chill? Lol, when you make an accidental pun. But, yeah I would definitely make a trip back to this place again

When the worker and owner was notified they did nothing but say stay away from each other. It was very obvious the "worker" was in a flirting relationship with the ringleader. I sat there and watched it go on. I do not just drop my kids off. Then when the parent of one of the bullied children said something all the kids surrounded along with the worker and owner. The owners claim to be Christians but I don't think so. Maybe if they kicked the bad kids out they could get some better Clientele. I remember going there as a child and the owners parents did not put up with bullying at all I witnessed them kicking people out left and right for being bad and cussing and fighting. It's sad to see how this business has gone down hill. I told my children we will NEVER. Be going back to that place. If you like your children to either be bullied or be a bully then yes this is a great place for you and your family to go.! But if your looking for a place to have a good time with your family this is a no! Very sad because I spent a lot of weekends there having a good time with my friends.

Cost is $15 and it includes skates while Horizons cost $5. Some of us bought new skates online to avoid wearing used. Once you get over the fact this is an old warehouse and there is no other roller skating rink to go to you become grateful there is somewhere to go to live out your youth . I don't like the metal plates which are part of the flooring as it's not easy to roll over when you travel to and from the rink but the rink itself is fine . It's a decent size to roller skate and it's not overly crowded so it works . Like anything in life it's the perspective and sometimes it's yourself and who you are with that makes or breaks the fun. We had about 10 of us in our party and we had a blast . We went on Thursday night adult night 7-10pm and dj mixed up mostly R&B but told us they would play more 80's when we came back. We plan to go again next month . People skating were smoking and happy .. saw some really good skaters too. This is what I focused on and I'm grateful we have somewhere to go skate among adults every single week is we wanted to. Sadly there are no lockers so plan to bring minimal extras and carry wallet on you. Robert H. Treman State Park was the last of the state parks in the Finger Lakes we visited a week…read moreor so when we spent the Fourth of July in the area, and it was a great way to say goodbye to the region. The park encompasses both sides of Enfield Creek and has several options to enjoy. At one end of the park is the Upper Park Entrance. This entrance has the Old Mill and access to all three hiking trails and is closer to the Lucifer Falls. (If you want to see Lucifer Falls without a hike, park at the Upper Entrance and you're not too far from Lucifer Halls - an easy flat walk to it, really.) The other end of the park is the Lower Park Entrance. It has camping areas (well used over the Fourth of July weekend when we visited - we saw tons of families enjoying the holiday weekend here), access to the Gorge Trail and Rim Trail, the Lower Falls (a waterfall with a swimming hole at the base - the swimming pool even has a diving board!), and everything else you need for a day of swimming and exploring (bathrooms with showers, picnic pavilions, etc.). We parked at the Lower Park Entrance (the lot was almost empty around 9am on a Sunday morning - even though it was a holiday weekend) and started off on the Gorge Trail, which is a 2.12 mile hike along Enfield Creek. This was probably the hardest hike we did at any of the state parks we visited over this holiday weekend (Watkins Glen, Buttermilk Falls, and Taughannock Falls). It was steep. I also didn't think it had the best views for the first mile - you're not quite as close to the water or *in* the gorge as you are on some of the other Gorge Trails. But once we got down to the creek, the views were beautiful (a few small falls), and it wasn't as crowded as the other trails either. (FYI: it was buggy and humid and hot, so if the weather is hot, definitely start early.) I had read on AllTrails that the hike up to Lucifer Falls was tough, so I was a little worried. But actually I didn't find it the hardest part of the hike at all. And Lucifer Falls was absolutely the highlight of the hike and the park for us. It's a 115-foot waterfall and it sort of winds and meanders in this incredible way - different from the other falls we saw on our Finger Lakes hikes. If you're visiting the park, do not miss Lucifer Falls. We returned to the Lower Entrance on the Rim Trail, which wasn't as beautiful as the Gorge Trail, but ended up being a treat, too, for a surprising reason. The Rim Trail didn't take us back to where we had parked our car. It does take you near to the Lower Entrance, but on the South side of the Creek. So when you finish the trail, there's a sign telling you how to get back to the Lower Entrance Parking, and that way back happens to take you past the Lower Falls. So we got to see the Lower Falls - tons of people swimming and diving (with plenty of lifeguards, too). We now know to save some time for a swim at the base of the Lower Falls the next time we visit this park! There are a lot of great parks, hikes, and trails in the Finger Lakes, but I really enjoyed our visit to Robert H. Treman State Park. Lucifer Falls is special, and the park was a great way to get some exercise and get some amazing waterfall shots, too.

If you prefer a more intimate and peaceful camping experience, this is not the place for you. There is a swimming area that has a lifeguard on duty snd many waterfalls to see. The views of Lucifer falls at the end are awesome!
