We took a trip from the Hudson Valley and it was a fun park with a good vibe. Look forward to our next visit.

When I was able to put it into perspective I understood. This is an overall nice outdoor gathering area. That I am sure is used throughout the year for many things. This depicts William "Jerry" Henry, a recently freed slave being rescued from the nearby jail by townsfolk. This was in defiance of the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850. Breaking into the jail they helped Jerry to escape and make his was to Canada, and freedom.
